GA: Chapter 116: Fusion of the Book of Ages, New Chat Group Functions Unlocked

Without hesitation, Bai Xuan stepped through the spatial gate. As soon as he entered, the gateway behind him vanished into thin air.

Unfazed, he simply followed a mysterious, guiding pull forward. Before long, he entered a grand palace. The ancient and solemn halls bore the scars of ruin, having weathered the flow of countless millennia.

At the center of the palace stood a colossal volume: the **Book of Ages**. Its pages were filled with dense, shimmering text, each character emitting a soft glow and shielded by a layer of mystical energy.

The Book of Ages! It was the most powerful artifact in the world of *Jackie Chan Adventures*, recording every fragment of history and information throughout the eons. By altering its records, the written word became reality, capable of rewriting the memories and perceptions of every soul in that world. No matter who you were, how powerful you became, or where you hid, once your fate was inscribed in the Book of Ages, it became truth. No one could escape its power.

In the original series, if Jade hadn't luckily torn out a single page, Shendu would have been virtually invincible.

As Bai Xuan gazed at the inscriptions, he realized that while he didn't recognize the characters, he could instinctively understand their meaning.

Curiously, he felt his **[Authority over Nature]** throb with a longing for the book—yet it wasn't the raw hunger it had shown for the Rat Talisman. It was more like a bashful desire, a hesitant yearning.

At that moment, another consciousness brushed against Bai Xuan, seemingly communicating with his [Authority over Nature]. The general sentiment was: "No need to be polite with me; it's not exactly a priceless treasure. Just consider it a gift for my godson..."*

Though the sentiment was bizarre, that was the gist of it.

"Well, that's definitely strange," Bai Xuan thought.

Before he could react further, the Book of Ages at the center of the palace erupted in brilliant light. The massive tome shrank instantly and surged into Bai Xuan's mind. For a fleeting second, he clutched his head in agony.

He felt a tidal wave of information crashing against his nerves, only for it to be filtered and erased just as quickly. The process was excruciating.

Slowly, a faint golden light began to radiate from his body, and his aura underwent a sudden sublimation.

**Holy. Great. Majestic.**

He appeared inviolable and divine. At this moment, Bai Xuan's eyes were completely white, devoid of any black—pure, translucent, and ethereal. It was a beauty beyond description, though clearly no longer human.

As time passed, the light faded, and the pain in his head receded. He took a deep, shaky breath. He hadn't felt pain like that in a long time. However, the rewards were staggering.

[Ocular Technique: Book of Ages]

[Ability] : Absolute control over all things. The host can freely modify the history of any timeline in this world, reshaping it into any desired form.

[Limitation]: Currently only effective within this world. In other worlds, the "Rules of Time" must first be parsed and analyzed.

This was the ocular technique derived from his fusion with the Book of Ages—a truly terrifying power. While limited in other worlds, the fact that it *could* work elsewhere given enough time to analyze the local laws opened up infinite possibilities. And if there was one thing Bai Xuan didn't lack, it was time.

Furthermore, this ocular technique was merely a derivative ability. The true power of the Book of Ages lay elsewhere.

Upon returning to his home world, the Book of Ages manifested from his mind and floated before him.

"Begin analysis," Bai Xuan commanded.

The moment he spoke, countless threads emerged from every corner of Earth, connecting with the Book of Ages. The previously blank pages began to fill with endless script. Deep beneath the surface of various nations, within void-like spaces, spheres of soft light were affected by a mysterious force. Their pure white glow began to take on different hues, and the faint outlines of incorporeal spirits seemed to be gestating within.

The analysis of a world was a grueling, long-term process. After establishing its initial connection, the Book of Ages returned to Bai Xuan's sea of consciousness. The rest would be left to time. Perhaps, once the book finished parsing this world's information, it would grant him a massive surprise.

Bai Xuan stretched his limbs and went to relax with Doraemon and the others. Truth be told, those virtual games were quite fun.

A few days passed uneventfully, save for one thing that piqued Bai Xuan's interest: the Chat Group had added two new functions.

[Virtual Combat] and **[Points Enhancement].

The *Virtual Combat* function allowed the group to simulate a battlefield. Any two members could pay 100 points to duel and test their strength. The price wasn't steep, though it wasn't exactly user-friendly since the matches couldn't be live-streamed.

Uchiha Madara and Whitebeard were particularly fond of this feature.

According to them, their bouts usually ended in a draw, though Madara claimed a slight edge in a life-or-death struggle.

The *Izanagi* ocular technique proved decisive when the gap in raw power was minimal, and evidently, Whitebeard's strength wasn't enough to completely suppress Madara.

The *Points Enhancement* function acted like an upgrade system in a video game. Members could spend 1,000 points to enhance their skills, bloodlines, talents, authorities, or even their energy systems. The success rate was random, and the Chat Group didn't specify the odds.

However, according to the members, no one had succeeded yet. It felt like a total point-sink. Then again, the members who had tried it generally had terrible luck with the gacha draws anyway, so it was hard to tell if the success rate was genuinely low or if they were just cursed by RNG.

*Turning Da gu into Soup* (Ultraman Tiga):* "My physique is already a Sage Body, and I've bought so many combat skills... so why can't I beat you, Tendou?"

>

Dagu was feeling depressed. He had dumped all his points into self-strengthening. He had a Three-Tomoe Sharingan, a Sage Body no weaker than Hashirama Senju's, and a physical constitution that was anything but frail.

Combined with his skill books, he could slay monsters with ease. Yet, fighting Tendou Souji, he was being utterly suppressed!

The kicker? Tendou hadn't even transformed!

If it weren't for the insane regenerative powers of the Sage Body, Daigo might have "died" multiple times already.

He couldn't wrap his head around it. Even if Tendou Souji was a combat genius in the world of *Kamen Rider Kabuto*, the disparity shouldn't be this exaggerated.

Even with the Three-Tomoe Sharingan, he couldn't track Tendou's movements!
