GA: Chapter 210 – The King Who Rules the Shinobi World; The Power of Infinite Tsukuyomi

The earth began to shake. Terrifying shockwaves radiated outward in every direction, and a blinding burst of crimson light engulfed the entire area—impossible to look at directly.

When the light finally faded, the silver wolf's massive body lay heavily on the ground. Qin Tian, though not looking his healthiest, stood upright and intact.

Seeing the silver wolf fall, Qin Tian couldn't help a small smile.

This mutant silver wolf was slightly weaker than him—but as a fellow First Sequence, the gap wasn't enormous. Before absorbing the dragon's blood and the dragon pearl, without the Blazing Dragon Armor, even winning would have cost him considerably.

Now he'd taken some wounds, but his condition wasn't bad.

"If I were you, I would have summoned the Blazing Dragon Armor at the end and killed it directly. You could have absorbed some of its energy and strengthened yourself."

Bai Xuan's voice drifted to Qin Tian, who shook his head.

"After plundering, the quality of the mutant creature's meat drops by a certain margin."

"And this creature was meant for you."

"For me, the opportunity to fight a First Sequence mutant creature is more valuable than its meat."

His original intention had been to familiarize himself with lightning-type ability—he hadn't expected to run into Bai Xuan, let alone get an opportunity to fight a First Sequence mutant creature. Compared to a bit of energy, this experience was worth far more.

The goal of refining his lightning hadn't quite worked out the way he planned—but during the battle, the silver wolf's own lightning had been exceptionally powerful. If he'd been at the same level rather than above it, there was a real chance he would have been suppressed.

In the course of the fighting, he'd gained new insight into lightning.

The effect was far better than practicing alone.

"As you like."

Bai Xuan said it lightly, unconcerned either way. Earth had no shortage of powerful mutant creatures—First Sequence was proportionally rare, but against the backdrop of countless living things across the globe, there were still plenty.

He collected the silver wolf's body into his spatial ring and gave Qin Tian a parting nod.

"I have something to take care of. Head back on your own."

"Also—in that silver wolf's den, there's a rare treasure that can enhance mutant creature bloodlines."

"It has some effect on humans too, but it works best on mutant creatures."

"How you use it is your call."

After saying this, a deep, dark void opened behind Bai Xuan.

"Where are you going?"

Qin Tian stared at the wormhole materializing behind Bai Xuan and asked in mild bewilderment.

"Another world."

Boom.

At those words, Bai Xuan stepped into the void. A flash of light—and the pitch-black opening vanished in an instant.

"Another world…"

Come to think of it—could you bring someone along through that?

Qin Tian shook his head, summoned his Blazing Dragon Steed, and turned toward the Imperial Capital's Spiritual Qi Bureau.

The fight with the silver wolf had given him a solid sense of his current strength—and new insight into lightning. His purpose was accomplished. There was no reason to linger.

Though before that, Qin Tian paused—the silver wolf's den had a rare treasure that enhanced mutant creature bloodlines. He needed to retrieve it first.

The Naruto world. Konoha.

Inside a grand palace.

Uchiha Madara sat at the head of the chamber. Black-and-red armor. The Rinnegan, cold and utterly without emotion.

Time passed quietly. The space around him began to ripple. A flicker crossed the Rinnegan—and a faint smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.

"They're here."

The words barely left his mouth before two men and a woman stepped out of the spatial rift.

"So this is the Naruto world, is it~?"

The woman in the lead was the Group Owner, Su Yunqing. She had descended from the rift brimming with excitement and curiosity—and then, as she took in her surroundings, something started to feel distinctly off.

This gold-and-jade palace—what's going on?

When did the Naruto world get a palace this extravagant and old-fashioned?

The moon base one? No, it doesn't look like that.

"Hello—first time meeting properly."

"I'm the Group Owner, Su Yunqing."

"Looking forward to working with everyone?"

Despite her mild unease, Su Yunqing greeted Uchiha Madara at the head of the hall, along with Marquis Voban and Bai Xuan behind him, with full enthusiasm.

Interestingly, her gaze only rested on Uchiha Madara and Voban for under three seconds—then stayed fixed on Bai Xuan for the rest of the time.

Her outstretched hand in greeting never quite came back down. Wide eyes full of question marks.

Is this face actually human?

Isn't that a bit too much?

Four years of university, and she couldn't find the words?

And what was this pull—this almost irresistible warmth in his presence? That had to be some kind of charm effect, right?!

"Evil spirits begone, evil spirits begone."

Su Yunqing repeated it silently, forced down the urge to keep staring, turned away, let her eyes land on Uchiha Madara for two more seconds, successfully pressed the feeling down, and gave a satisfied nod.

Uchiha Madara, noticing where her gaze had been, let the corner of his mouth twitch.

What exactly is that supposed to mean?

"The King who rules the shinobi world?"

"The pioneer of an unprecedented era—the first ruler to ever unite the shinobi world?"

"The greatest shinobi in history—Uchiha Madara?"

"Did you modify their memories with Infinite Tsukuyomi?"

Bai Xuan had only been mildly curious about what Uchiha Madara had done in the shinobi world after his revival—and had used [Natural Authority] to gather some information. He hadn't expected this.

"It is simply a method for maintaining peace in the shinobi world."

Uchiha Madara said it without the slightest hint of embarrassment.

Strictly speaking, those descriptors weren't exaggerations. True, the peace he had achieved was born of Infinite Tsukuyomi—but rather than immersing people in dreams, this time he had only implanted false memories in them. Supplementary ones.

Compared to peace, those memories were a trivial thing—and the peace itself had brought tangible, real benefits to every person it touched.

He had accomplished what no one had ever done—ruled the entirety of the shinobi world, ushering in an era of peace. Calling Uchiha Madara the greatest shinobi in history was entirely earned.

Whether the people would agree, were they to wake up and realize—that was another question.

Though it was fairly safe to assume he didn't particularly care.

Peace always came at a price. Compared to the lives of loved ones and companions, a few false memories was, if anything, an extraordinarily reasonable trade.

Whether you agreed was irrelevant.

What mattered was that Uchiha Madara approved of his own methods.

Every truly powerful being had convictions they stood by. No one could touch those.

"This is your palace?"

Marquis Voban said it with genuine interest, looking around approvingly. The architecture was excellent—and the materials were lavish.

Sandalwood. Jade wall panels. Pearls. Crystal…

"Not bad."

"Though—are you certain you have the ability to govern this many people across the entire shinobi world?"
