CHAPTER 8 — THE TITAN'S WRATH AND THE SUPER-SONIC BLADE
(At the end of Chapter 7, Huba Huba had landed in front of Haibat in his new Bloodio Beast form made of corpses and roared: "NOW WATCH, BALDY, HOW I TURN YOU INTO A GHOST!")
In the pitch-black darkness of the night, where the stench of burnt flesh and charcoal of the innocent villagers still lingered in the air, Huba Huba's massive Bloodio Beast form looked like a walking nightmare.
His torn, demonic skull was attached to a 12-foot tall muscular body made of dead flesh, remaining blood, and burnt, broken bones.
The new eyes of innocent Omar, fitted into the hollow sockets of that skull, now burned like the red fire of a demon.
He let out a horrifying, ear-shattering demonic shriek in the air and lunged forward, launching a dark, hyper-sonic attack on Haibat with his massive, bone-made muscular hands.
He unleashed such a terrifying, blind, and brutal barrage of continuous punches that sonic booms began to erupt in the air.
BOOM!
KRA-KOOM!
BOOM!
Behind each of his punches was the unstable poison of dark magic and the heavy weight of hundreds of burnt corpses.
The ground trembled violently from his speed and brutal power.
His speed was so extreme that his massive hands appeared only as black and red blurs to the human eye.
The remaining clay walls and ruined houses nearby were being pulverized into dust just from the air pressure generated by his punches.
But right in the middle of that storm of death, that blind barrage, and those sonic blasts...
Haibat did not budge an inch.
Haibat stood his ground like an impenetrable rock, an unbreakable, centuries-old mountain.
There was not a single trace of fear on his 7-foot tall, fortress-like body.
His face bore only the cold and dangerous wrath of a strict, experienced warrior, and his glowing blue eyes were reading Huba Huba's every movement.
He was calmly resisting those brutal attacks. Haibat had channeled the raw earth energy from his 'Arth Soul Core' and activated his 'Pressure Guard'.
A highly dense, invisible solid shield of earth aura had formed all around him, right above his heavy metallic boots.
Huba Huba's terrifying sonic punches crashed against Haibat's earth armor and shattered like pieces of glass being thrown against a massive, unbreakable iron door.
A dark, mocking smile appeared on Haibat's lips, and he delivered a heavy dialogue in his commanding, mountainous voice:
"What's the matter, spawn of the dead?
You may have worn this massive body of burnt corpses, but there isn't even the strength of an insect in these rotting hands of yours!
This fly-like speed of yours cannot move the god of this earth even an inch!"
Hearing this, Huba Huba went mad with rage and hissed, increasing his attack speed.
But Haibat was not in the mood to play with this insect right now.
He gripped his massive rune-engraved Divine Warhammer tightly with both hands and, without moving from his spot, began to relentlessly attack the ground with his hammer.
BOOOM!
RUMBLE!
CRASH!
The moment Haibat's hammer struck the ground, the chest of the earth split open from the raw, pure power of his Earth Soul Core.
He suddenly used his advanced 'Stone Wall Rise' technique. Massive, 15-foot tall, jagged walls of dirt and stone erupted from the ground all around him, sending plumes of dust into the air.
Without stopping, in an unbroken, god-like flow, Haibat continued to smash his hammer against those stone walls one after another.
As his massive, earth-pressure-infused iron hammer struck those mystic walls, a terrifying shockwave was generated, and sharp stone spikes began firing rapidly from those walls into the air.
The jagged, deadly earth spikes rained down like a shower of arrows, tearing through the air, and began raining straight onto Huba Huba's colossal monster body.
The spikes shot towards Huba Huba at super-speed, piercing the air.
Huba Huba was still blinded by the rage and arrogance of his sonic punches.
Suddenly, he saw a large stone spike heading straight for his new eyes!
Seeing death just an inch away from his fresh, stolen new eyes, a cold wave of terror rushed through Huba Huba's demonic brain.
At the very last millisecond, he used the full extent of his demonic dark magic speed and dodged out of the way like a flash.
He turned into a dark, hazy blur and began running in circles around Haibat.
He was running so fast, like a black storm, that a terrifying, swirling vortex of dust, fire, and broken earth formed all around Haibat.
From within this storm, Huba Huba waited for Haibat's shield to break somewhere, or for him to get confused by this high-speed vortex.
But Haibat, the oldest Elder Guardian of the Divine Disciples, was not someone to be fooled by a child's speed trick.
He was the undisputed "Titan" of this battlefield, who controlled the gravity of the entire area.
Haibat closed his eyes for a second and focused entirely on the deep vibrations of the scorched earth.
He accurately tracked Huba Huba's fast footsteps and the weight of his body through earth resonance.
The moment his exact location was locked, Haibat raised his massive hammer in the air with both hands and slammed it straight into the ground with all his might!
KABOOOOM!
It was a deadly combination of his 'Earth Pulse Stomp' and a hammer slam.
A shockwave surged through the earth like a swift electrical current.
Huba Huba, who was running blindly at top speed, suddenly saw a massive spike wall tear through the ground and stand right in front of him like a wall of death!
Huba Huba stopped dead in his tracks.
His footprints violently scraped against the ground, kicking up dust and leaving a deep trench.
If he had taken even one more inch forward, that jagged earth-wall ahead would have pierced straight through his skull and both his eyes.
Huba Huba's breath was caught in his throat.
After narrowly escaping death, he let out a dark, sarcastic laugh, hiding his inner fear and mocking the heavy situation with a teasing tone:
"Hah! I survived, baldy, from these attacks of yours!"
But Huba Huba's overconfident, grotesque dark comedy lasted only for that single second.
Haibat's heavy, mountainous voice, filled with pure sarcasm, immense rage, and absolute titan domination, echoed right behind Huba Huba:
"Take a look behind you... you filthy gutter rat!"
Huba Huba whipped around in fear and shock.
And the moment he turned,
the ground right behind him split open,
and another spike wall was summoned there!
Now Huba Huba was completely and utterly trapped in the titan's snare.
A massive spike wall in front, and another jagged spike wall behind.
He was imprisoned like a wretched, torn insect between two colossal walls of death, with no room to even move.
This time, Haibat showed no mercy, nor did he waste a single second.
Haibat prepared his most terrifying 'Overload Hammer Spin' attack.
Haibat's anger was at its peak, his eyes glowing bright blue like fire, and his entire surrounding aura illuminated with the raw gravity and stored pressure of the earth.
Haibat took a heavy, ground-shattering leap into the air. Violently spinning his massive body and heavy iron hammer together in mid-air, he slammed his hammer straight into that stone wall with all his masculine might!
CRASH!!!
SHATTER!!!
KABOOM!!!
The impact of the hammer was so brutal, so raw, and so full of Earth Resonance that the back wall exploded with a massive blast.
By the force of that explosion, hundreds of earth spikes from inside the wall tore through the air and surged forward like a storm.
Those stone spikes pierced entirely into Huba Huba's monster body.
SQUELCH!
SQUELCH!
SNAP!
TEAR!
Vomiting blood and black poison, an agonizing, night-piercing scream escaped from Huba Huba's skull.
Those stone spikes had brutally riddled his new, muscular body made of corpses.
Long, sharp stones protruded right through his chest, his legs, and his stomach.
Writhing in pain and anger, and seeing himself trapped so terribly, Huba Huba internally acknowledged the raw, terrifying titan power of Haibat from the bottom of his heart.
Crying and irritated, he spoke through his torn, blood-filled jaw:
"You bastard baldy!
May you be destroyed!
I had a new body with great difficulty, and you have destroyed that too!"
Haibat landed on the ground with a heavy 'Thud', kicking up dirt.
His chest was broad, his golden mustache twitched in the wind, and a teasing, mocking smirk rested on his stern, commanding face.
He replied to Huba Huba's dark comedy in his heavy voice with a badass, taunting action dialogue:
"Hahahaha! This is just the beginning...
you have yet to taste more fun, you demonic skull!"
Without giving the monster a single second to recover, Haibat continuously pounded his massive hammer against the broken magic wall.
With every single strike of the hammer, the earth quaked, and more spikes erupted...
which continuously, repeatedly pierced Huba Huba's body.
Blood and black poison gushed out of the Bloodio Beast's body like a fountain.
Huba Huba was still brutally trapped between those earth-walls. Half of his corpse-made body was completely riddled with holes;
bones were hanging out.
Seeing death so close to these new eyes, Huba Huba's demonic, cunning mind thought:
"If I stay here, this baldy will kill me right here! Run,
Huba Huba...
I have to do this!"
He decided he could no longer stand against this Titan.
He had to save his life and flee from here.
Huba Huba channeled a black, venomous smoke (dark smoke) all around his massive, riddled body of corpses to get an extreme speed boost for his escape.
"Dark smoke attack!
RUUUUN HUBA HUBA!"
he hissed and screamed.
And the very next second, without leaving his riddled body behind,
Huba Huba smashed into the front earth wall with the force of his entire massive monster body,
breaking it with a terrifying collision!
CRASH!!!
Pieces of stone flew into the air like cannonballs.
Along with that massive, riddled, and damaged monster body, driven by the fear of pain and death, he exerted all his power and started running towards the outskirts of the village.
As he ran in panic with his entire body, the force of his dark magic created a long trail of black, venomous smoke (smoke trail) right behind him.
He had barely escaped Haibat's earth-trap of death and reached a short distance into the final, dark edge of the village when suddenly...
A flash of light gleamed right in front of him.
It was a super-sonic movement so fast that human eyes couldn't even see it.
The air pressure was so extreme that the remaining trees nearby dried up and snapped in a single jolt.
Huba Huba's massive monster body suddenly skidded to a halt on the dirt due to the friction.
Huba Huba looked ahead.
There, right in front of the dust and smoke, stood a man blocking the path.
This was the same mysteriously silent shadow that had been standing in the last dark corner of the village earlier.
That shadow was none other than the High-speed Assassin and Scout unit of the Divine Order's Special Combat Branch—'Raziq Al-Fajr'.
Raziq's 5-foot 11-inch tall, lean muscular body was built for pure speed and predator-like agility.
His sharp face featured a clean jawline and a neat chin beard (goatee style) black hair and brown eyes .
Both of his legendary weapons—'Saif Al-Rawh' (Arabic Dual Swords)—were already drawn in his hands.
They were curved twin blades of lightweight assassin design, on whose edges the golden aura and lightning-fast energy of his *Velocity Resonance Soul Core* ran like an electric current.
Raziq's presence was so calm and cold, it felt as if death itself had taken form and stood there.
Huba Huba saw the calm assassin blocking his path. His demonic, cunning mind immediately hatched a new conspiracy.
Despite having a terrifying, massive monster body made of corpses, he began a tremendous, over-the-top acting of trembling in fear.
He whimpered and screamed, begging for mercy:
"No... no! Don't cut me! Let me go!"
A subtle intensity shifted in Raziq Al-Fajr's brown eyes.
Without giving any answer,
Raziq offered a cold,
ruthless smile,
and with a laugh,
sliced straight through his neck.
In the very next millisecond, Raziq activated his
'Sonic Flow Step'.
A terrifying sonic boom erupted in the air!
KABOOM!
His movement was so extreme and full of burst-acceleration that he shattered the sound barrier in a single jerk.
His dual swords cut right through the neck of that massive monster body in a clean cut at super-sonic speed.
SLASH!
KRA-KOOM!
That super-sonic motion was so fast and perfect that it felt as if time itself had stopped in the universe for a second.
In one swift strike, those dual sonic-speed blades severed Huba Huba's torn demonic skull from that massive torso of corpses with a perfect, clean cross-cut.
After the swords passed, the sound of tearing air followed.
In a single jerk, his skull and that massive torso separated from each other.
Huba Huba's torn, demonic skull flew up into the air. A spray of black poison and blood shot out from it, and it landed directly in the black dirt near Raziq's feet.
Right behind it, that massive monster torso, riddled with dead flesh and stone spikes, crashed into the dirt with a heavy thud. The fall of that giant, lifeless body kicked up dust from the ground one last time.
With absolute style and cold silence, Raziq swung both his swords in the air, flicking the black blood off the blades onto the ground. Haibat, his heavy metallic boots clanking, had also arrived from behind. Exhaling a deep breath, Haibat placed his massive warhammer on the dirt.
Both stood there, and right at their feet lay Huba Huba's demonic skull and his lifeless, corpse-made torso in the dirt. The new eyes fitted into the hollow sockets of the skull were now left wide open, staring blankly. There was no smoke there, no maniacal laughter.
There was only the naked silence of death, and that terrifying demon lying in the dirt, who had now been silenced forever.
