Doorbell rings
Then Dad came home.
Darling, what happened?
Then Mom explained everything.
Dad was shook and really regretted leaving us. Then he started crying and blaming himself for being selfish.
Mom and Dad called a psychiatrist.
When I woke up, I saw them crying and asking me how I was doing.
Dad, why are you here? Mom, what is this? And why is a psychiatrist here? And all of you?
Mom explained and said, "Sweetie, we are really sorry for being bad parents. This couldn't have happened."
Mom, I already told you, Lucas is real! Look, look at my phone! See, it's Lucas!
Then they started looking at me.
I started crying.
And Dad, why are you here? I thought you weren't coming back because you chose your second wife over us. How could you? I really, really miss you. Do you even know how much pain I have? I was so depressed and tired of all this. Then one day, I happened to meet Lucas, my only friend who always listened to my problems and never made me feel sad. I really needed someone who would listen to me, to my problems. But all of you never cared about me. But now you are all here, crying for me. Being left out was hard, Mom and Dad. When you left us, Mom was always sad. When I talked to her, she just said, 'I'm busy.' And my sister just ignored me all the time. You know, Dad, you're the only person I was close with because Mom and Samantha were always together, laughing, talking to each other. I thought Mom was busy, but no, I realize Mom doesn't like me. So I am all alone.
My little brother was going back to Korea; he was studying there. He was just here for vacation.
The psychiatrist said, "That's why she has imaginary friends. Because of her dad, who left her. She was so heartbroken, and that's why she started to have imaginary friends who are a male version of her dad."
"What do we do?"
Just have a complete family, and don't make her feel alone anymore because she really needs all of you.
Shouting, "No, no, I'm not going to be..."
Then Lucas showed up and said, "It's time to go. My family is waiting."
Shouting, "No, Lucas, come back! Lucas! Lucaaaaaaas..."
Then he smiled.
