It was around midnight. The world outside was silent.
Rahul lay on his bed, scrolling through his phone out of boredom. Suddenly, a strange notification popped up on his screen—
"Do you want power?"
He frowned.
"Probably just another spam," he muttered.
But something felt… off.
The message didn't look normal. It was too simple, yet too mysterious.
"Power? What kind of power?" he whispered.
Curiosity got the better of him.
He tapped "YES."
⚡ Suddenly, a surge of dark energy burst out from his phone, filling the entire room.
Rahul tried to scream, but his body froze.
A deep, cold voice echoed inside his mind—
"Shadow System Activated…"
"Welcome, Host."
His eyes widened in shock.
A translucent screen appeared in front of him—

"W-What is this…? A game?" he stuttered.
Another notification appeared instantly—
"First Quest Available"
👉 Kill 1 Shadow Beast
"Shadow Beast? What is that supposed to mean?!"
Just then—
A strange sound came from the corner of his room.
The darkness itself began to move.
Slowly, something emerged from the shadows—a creature made of pure black smoke, with glowing red eyes and a terrifying presence.
Rahul's throat went dry.
"This… this is real?"
The system responded coldly—
"Quest must be completed. Failure = Death."
His heart started pounding rapidly.
Fear gripped him, but at the same time… he felt something new.
Power.
Something was rising inside him.
Rahul clenched his fists.
"No matter what… I have to fight."
The shadow creature let out a low growl and lunged toward him.
