Friel let out a roar, exerted her full strength, and flipped Jona Velli over in one go. Seizing the opportunity, she pressed a paw down on Jona Velli.
Struck by this heavy blow, Jona Velli's heart screamed "WTF," but because of this hit, she simply stopped moving and decided to just give up.
'I didn't expect that even with a Physical Reinforcement talent, I'd still be pinned down by this Red Wyrmling. No, we're both dragons, but this is just too overpowered.'
Seeing that the white idiot before her had calmed down, Friel nodded with satisfaction. She stepped onto Jona Velli's body with a claw and let out a victor's roar.
"Ang!"
A raw and youthful dragon roar rang out, proclaiming her stance of victory.
"Remember, the one who defeated you is the great Friel."
Friel looked down at the White Dragon she was pinning, and Jona Velli opened her eyes to look back.
As their eyes met, the red dragon mouth curled up slightly.
Then, Friel stepped off Jona Velli with her head held high, walked over to the Feral Water Buffalo, and began to feast on the remaining meat.
Seeing the Red Wyrmling start to eat, Jona Velli rolled over, stood up, and walked to her side.
Friel had just opened her dragon mouth when she suddenly raised her dragon head, bared her teeth at her, and gave a low growl of warning.
Jona Velli was stunned; this was clearly the prey she had caught.
But there was nothing she could do. Might makes right, so whatever she said went.
Jona Velli retreated to the side, lay down obediently, and began to munch on the nearby aquatic plants as snacks.
'A sense of helplessness, like a kitten protecting its food.'
Seeing the White Dragon leave, Friel turned back around and resumed eating.
Among the Dragon Species, dragons eating together are either very close or it's a provocative act of trying to steal food.
This was what triggered Friel's food-guarding behavior, but it also gave her a deeper understanding of the White Dragon's silliness—she had no sense of personal space.
After finishing the entire Feral Water Buffalo, Friel felt only sixty percent full. However, there was no rush to eat more, as there was still an annoying fellow sitting nearby.
"You, you can get lost now."
Friel began to drive Jona Velli away. Jona Velli was taken aback for a moment, but then felt a sense of relief.
She feigned lack of understanding, her two crystal-blue dragon eyes blinking and sparkling as she tilted her round head.
"Aow?"
Seeing the stupid White Dragon didn't understand her words, Friel looked speechless and raised a dragon claw to point into the distance.
"Go out!"
Hearing the order to get lost, Jona Velli felt annoyed but still stood up and sidled up to Friel. Her round dragon head began to rub against her body in a fawning manner.
No way. It would be such a waste to let such a top-tier fighter leave. If used properly, she wouldn't have to worry about food ever again.
And besides, food was abundant here. Where else could she find such a suitable habitat?
Seeing the White Dragon suddenly acting so affectionate, even Friel, with her Inheritance Memory, was dazed.
'Wait, didn't I just beat you up? Are we really that close? She really is an idiot.'
But idiot or not, a Five-Color Dragon won't stop bullying you just because you're stupid.
Friel slapped Jona Velli away and then kicked her into the nearby river. Having done this, Friel spread her dragon wings, took to the air, and began searching for suitable prey.
She wasn't afraid that the White Dragon wouldn't leave. If she insisted on staying in her territory, Friel wouldn't mind beating her up again.
Jona Velli poked her dragon head out of the water, holding a two-meter-long fish in her mouth. Her crystal-blue dragon eyes watched the flying Red Wyrmling with resentment.
'Fine, fine, fine. You dare to kick me? I'll remember this!'
After recording Friel's misdeeds in her mental notebook, Jona Velli swam ashore and began to eat the still-wriggling fish.
Washed by the river water, the bloodstains on her body had been rinsed away, revealing her originally white, plump, and cute body.
The two-meter-long fish was quickly swallowed, and the magic core inside was crunched up like a snack.
After eating this, along with the beef from earlier, Jona Velli felt she was finally about half-full.
Her nose sniffed; the air still held a faint lingering scent of heat and sulfur.
Jona Velli curled her dragon mouth. She didn't plan on giving up on this top-tier fighter. Besides, it was too dangerous for a Hatchling Dragon to be alone. Having a powerful ally would make it much safer to survive the hatchling and even Juvenile Dragon stages.
Furthermore, if she really left, how would she get revenge for that kick? Would she have taken that beating for nothing?
Even if the world was small and they might meet again, the chances were too slim. Who knew if she would suddenly have a whim and move away?
Thinking this, Jona Velli spread her dragon wings and flew into the sky, following the scent left by Friel.
Within a few minutes, she spotted Friel eating on the plains below.
Friel stopped her movements. She had already noticed Jona Velli following her. With her head covered in blood, she immediately stood up and bared her teeth at Jona Velli.
Jona Velli pretended not to see and began her descent.
In Friel's eyes, this was undoubtedly a provocation. She opened her dragon mouth and began to condense dragon breath.
A line of red fire shot out from Friel's dragon mouth, which Jona Velli narrowly dodged.
As Friel turned her dragon head, Jona Velli's dragon wing was hit. She instantly lost her balance, flapping her wings wildly before crashing down from the sky not far from Friel.
Friel strode toward the White Dragon she had shot down, standing before her with an arrogant expression.
"Stupid White Dragon, what exactly is your purpose in following me?"
Jona Velli rolled over and lay on the ground. Her injuries from the fall were healing rapidly. She looked at Friel with a pitiful expression, like a poor little thing that would evoke a dragon's sympathy.
Friel narrowed her eyes. She was a Five-Color Dragon; how could she be affected by cuteness? Although... that chubby feeling... it would probably feel great to touch.
Friel was startled by the thought that had popped into her head and quickly shook her dragon head to clear the messy thoughts from her mind.
"Aow~"
Jona Velli gave a weak cry, pointed to her belly, and then to her open dragon mouth.
Seeing this, Friel wasn't surprised that the White Dragon couldn't speak; after all, their intelligence was what it was, though it would improve once they reached adulthood.
"If you want food, go get it yourself. But first, leave my territory."
Jona Velli pretended not to understand. She tilted her dragon head, shamelessly stood up, and pressed herself against Friel's chest.
Her round white head gently rubbed against the plate-like White Dragon scales on Friel's chest.
Friel hadn't expected the White Dragon to pull such a stunt and instinctively took a step back, but then annoyance crept into her heart.
She was a powerful Red Dragon, yet she had been startled into taking a step back.
