Kawasaki grimaced with every step he took, using the trees that were lined up in perfect order to support him. His broken ankle was already starting to become infected, with blue spots forming and flowers blooming out of his foot and now out of his shoe.
Would he die here? Would it be the end for him? These thoughts ran around his head with every step he took. He was pretty far from a hospital, and it was pretty dark, so it wasn't like he was going to be able to see a hospital anyways.
He started to trip a little while walking distracted with these thoughts until he tripped on an exposed root, where he lay down on the ground and looked at the sky and accepted the fact: this was the end. With each minute passing he heard howling and footsteps getting closer and closer. He felt his body turn pale and all his strength wither away slowly. He closed his eyes fatigued and stripped away from all strength and life.
