Chapter 165 - Chapter 165: Liyue Awakens, Welcoming a New God

The fragments of power belonging to Yunqin and Hydro Qin, which she had devoured, reintegrated into Yunqin's body like birds returning to their nest.

The Geo Vision at her waist suddenly erupted with a dazzling golden light, and the Hydro Element around her body also glowed with a soft blue light. The two powers intertwined and wound together, making her aura become more steady than ever before.

At the same time, Osial and Beisht in the center of the battlefield suddenly let out a low, muffled roar.

Having lost the Abyss power enhancement from Xiao Qin, and with the Purifying Power of Yunqin spreading, the dark energy on their bodies receded at a speed visible to the naked eye.

"Father... Mother..." Yunqin spoke softly, her voice carrying a faint, barely noticeable tremor.

She stepped toward the center of the battlefield, the golden and blue power around her body forming a soft barrier that gently blocked the space between the Dual Gods and the god.

"Stop, the Abyss's influence has already receded."

Osial and Beisht's movements froze abruptly, their muddy eyes slowly focusing, landing on Yunqin.

They could clearly sense that this young girl possessed both the familiar bloodline aura of a Scion of the Gods, and the unique warmth of Liyue's Geo element. The two auras intertwined, strange yet so familiar that it made their hearts ache.

"My dear daughter..." Beisht's voice was as hoarse as if it had been scraped by sandpaper, and complex emotions churned in her pupils: there was guilt for being bewitched, heartache at seeing her daughter safe and sound, and a trace of incredulous bewilderment, "You... are you truly my daughter?"

"It is I." Yunqin nodded gently, tears glistening in her eyes, yet her back remained straight, "The Yunqin who was born within the deep sea vortex, and also protected by the winds and rocks of Liyue."

Zhongli and Venti took the opportunity to withdraw their divine power and slowly stepped aside.

The hem of Zhongli's long robe was still stained with black venom, but his golden eyes were filled with gratification as he watched Yunqin, his gaze like that of someone finally seeing a sapling grown tall.

Venti breathed a sigh of relief, his wings fluttering gently as the gold in his pupils finally faded, dispelling the final traces of hostility on the battlefield.

"Forgive us..." Osial's voice was low, like the rumble of the deep sea. His massive head lowered slightly, carrying a profound guilt, "We were bewitched by the Abyss and nearly... hurt you."

"The past is best left unspoken," Yunqin shook her head.

She waved her hand, and the gold-blue power around her body transformed into countless fine particles of light, falling upon Osial and Beisht.

Those particles of light seeped into their bodies, helping to cleanse the last remaining traces of the Abyssal aura.

"Now, it is time to end this disaster."

Yunqin gazed at Osial and Beisht's gradually clearing eyes, then at Xiao Qin, who had not yet fully dissipated. The Gold-Blue Divine Power surging in her chest suddenly erupted!

She raised her hand to the sky, and the particles of light bursting from her palm scattered like stardust, following Liyue's winds to seep into every inch of its land.

From the stone-paved roads of Liyue Harbor to the rocky crevices of Mt. Aocang, and even the grassy fields in the wild, all were enveloped by this gentle power.

The dark clouds that had once choked the breath out of everyone were forcibly torn open by the divine light, then quickly dissipated like a receding tide, revealing the sun that had long been hanging high in the sky.

Golden sunlight pierced through the clouds, gently bathing every corner of Liyue and completely dispelling the lingering chill of the Abyss.

In the wild, a Crimson Fox curled in a tree hollow slowly opened its eyes. Its amber pupils were filled with confusion. It shook the dry leaves off its tail, its nose twitching. The air no longer smelled of gunpowder, but of the fresh fragrance of reviving vegetation.

At the base of the withered Glaze Lilies, specks of tender green began to emerge. On the pine stumps split by celestial thunder, countless particles of light descended, sprouting new branches in the blink of an eye.

The fires in the mountains caused by the celestial thunder had long since been extinguished. On the scorched earth, green shoots broke through the soil. Even the blackened stones were wrapped in particles of light, gradually restoring their original blue-gray color.

Inside the Liyue Harbor shelters, the sleeping people gradually opened their eyes.

A young man in short-sleeved attire shook his head and looked at his companion in confusion, "Hey, aren't we in the middle of a battle with Yunqin? Why is it so quiet..."

"Where is this? How come I've never seen such a massive shelter?"

"Did Lord Rex Lapis bring us here?"

"The sunlight is so blinding. Has the battle outside already ended?"

The sound of discussion gradually rose.

The heavy stone gate had already been pushed open by Lumine. Her fingers still retained the chill from pushing the door, and the moment her gaze touched the outside world, tears uncontrollably blurred her vision.

The collapsed shops slowly restored themselves in the divine light, wooden signboards were rehung on the eaves, the broken stone bridge reconnected the two banks, and the gaps between the stone slabs were filled smooth with particles of light.

Green grass sprouted from the cracks in the streets, and even the last trace of gunpowder smell in the air was swept away by the wind, replaced by the fragrance of vegetation.

She raised her hand to cover her mouth, feeling a warm moisture on her fingertips. The once devastated Liyue was now as if all its wounds had been gently brushed away, appearing as if reborn.

"Traveler..." Paimon rubbed her sleepy eyes and slowly floated to Lumine's side.

Her small face still bore dried tear stains, clearly having woken up from crying in her dreams.

But when she saw Lumine standing before her completely unharmed, she could no longer hold back and threw herself into Lumine's arms, sobbing loudly.

"Waaaaah! Traveler, I'm so glad you're okay! I had such a scary dream!"

"In my dream, there were black tentacles everywhere, and monsters even bigger than Wangshu Inn! I looked for you for so long but couldn't find you, and I saw Yunqin covered in dark energy! I was so scared... I thought I'd never see you all again!"

Lumine gently patted Paimon's back, feeling the little one trembling beneath her palm. Her voice was as gentle as a stream: "It's okay, Paimon. It's all over now."

"Look, Liyue outside is fine too, and Yunqin is fine as well."

Paimon lifted her head, still sobbing, and followed Lumine's gaze to look outside.

Sunlight spilled across the road, and curious children had already run out of the shelter, crouching by the roadside to watch the newly sprouted grass.

She sniffled, her cries gradually subsiding. Her small face was still covered in tears, but she had already begun to curiously observe the revived Liyue.

Just then, a slightly stumbling figure ran toward the Stone Gate.

Tartaglia's body was covered in dust and dried blood, and his left arm instinctively protected his right shoulder, clearly showing that his old wounds had not yet healed when new ones were added.

His face was as pale as paper, and he swayed with every step he took. Yet, he stubbornly kept his back straight, refusing to show any weakness.

When he reached Lumine, he leaned against the Stone Gate, gasping for breath for a long moment before speaking in an extremely weak voice: "Traveler, Paimon... can you... can you help me up?"

Lumine quickly reached out to support his tottering body. As her fingertips touched him, she felt his body temperature was much lower than usual.

Paimon also flew sensibly to his other side, gently steadying his arm: "Childe, how could you run so fast when you're injured!"
