Chapter 110 - Chapter 110 — Visiting Tengen

Seven days after the Shibuya Incident.

Tokyo — beneath the grounds of Tokyo Jujutsu High.

Deep within the underground structure known as the Tombs of the Star Corridor, the most heavily protected location in the entire jujutsu world.

This place housed the being who had maintained Japan's barrier system for over a thousand years.

Tengen.

Yagami Sora stood alone before the massive stone gate that led deeper into the corridor.

Ancient talismans covered the walls.

Barrier inscriptions glowed faintly in the dark.

Behind him stood the surviving students and sorcerers of Jujutsu High.

Yuji Itadori.

Megumi Fushiguro.

Nobara Kugisaki.

Maki Zenin.

Panda.

Toge Inumaki.

Yuta Okkotsu.

Yuki Tsukumo.

No one spoke.

The air was heavy with tension.

Maki broke the silence first.

"You're really going in alone?"

She leaned on her naginata, staring at the sealed gate.

"That thing has lived for over a thousand years. No one knows what it's thinking anymore."

Yagami Sora didn't turn around.

"It's fine."

"If Tengen wanted to harm me, I wouldn't have reached this door in the first place."

Maki sighed.

"You're unbelievable."

The stone gate slowly opened.

Inside was not a room.

Nor a hall.

Nor any recognizable space.

It was a void.

No floor.

No ceiling.

No direction.

Only a vast expanse of pale light.

And at the center—

A presence.

A distorted humanoid shape suspended in the empty space.

Its form flickered between clarity and abstraction.

More concept than body.

More barrier than person.

Tengen.

The voice did not come from a mouth.

It echoed directly inside Yagami Sora's consciousness.

Ancient.

Detached.

Emotionless.

"You have arrived."

The voice continued.

"An anomaly within the jujutsu world."

"A student of Satoru Gojo."

"A soul originating from outside this world."

A pause.

"And a traveler who does not belong to this timeline."

Yagami Sora stopped walking.

For the first time since entering—

His expression hardened.

"You know."

Tengen's presence shifted slightly.

Almost like observing him.

"I know many things."

"Such as the fact that your soul is not native to this world."

"Such as the presence of an artificial system embedded within your consciousness."

"And such as…"

Tengen paused.

"The fact that your existence is anchored to two different timelines simultaneously."

Silence filled the void.

Yagami Sora didn't answer.

But his silence was answer enough.

"You need not be surprised."

Tengen continued calmly.

"I have lived for more than a millennium."

"I have witnessed countless distortions of causality."

"Parallel worlds are not impossible phenomena."

Tengen raised one hand.

The surrounding void rippled.

Two faint lights appeared.

Floating in space.

One shone blue.

Gentle.

Peaceful.

Filled with warmth.

The other glowed red.

Violent.

Heavy.

Filled with regret.

"The trajectory of your soul."

Tengen said.

"The Alpha timeline."

"And the Omega timeline."

The two lights slowly rotated.

Orbiting each other.

Never touching.

Yagami Sora stared silently.

"So."

His voice was quiet.

"The one who helped me accelerate calculations during the Shibuya battle…"

Tengen replied immediately.

"That is your possibility."

"The version of you who successfully reached the future."

"The Yagami Sora who lived his full life."

"The Yagami Sora of the Alpha timeline."

Yagami Sora closed his eyes.

Images surfaced in his mind.

A sunset over Jujutsu High.

Gojo Satoru and Suguru Geto arguing while sharing sweets.

Riko Amanai laughing on a university campus.

Megumi complaining while being dragged into training.

Students running through the school courtyard.

And himself.

Standing quietly at the school gate.

Watching.

A peaceful future.

A world that survived.

"…Did he live well?"

Yagami Sora asked quietly.

Tengen remained silent for a long time.

Then answered.

"He left without regrets."

Yagami Sora nodded.

Once.

Slowly.

"That's good."

But Tengen's voice suddenly deepened.

"However."

"The system embedded in your soul…"

"It is not entirely the creation of a higher-dimensional civilization."

"It has been rewritten."

"In the language of this world."

Yagami Sora looked up sharply.

"What does that mean?"

Tengen spoke quietly.

"It means the code originates from the future."

"From a timeline where you no longer exist."

"But where your influence remains."

Yagami Sora's consciousness sank into the system interface.

Lines of code flowed like galaxies.

And deep inside—

Hidden in a corner he had never examined—

He saw a comment.

[Dedicated to another me.]

[2056 — Alpha Line]

Yagami Sora froze.

The handwriting was unmistakable.

His own.

The system message suddenly appeared.

[Alpha Causal Channel Remaining Energy: 37%]

[Each computational support consumes fragments of the Alpha timeline host's soul.]

Yagami Sora remained silent.

Then asked quietly.

"Will he disappear?"

Tengen answered after a long pause.

"Yes."

Yagami Sora closed his eyes.

Three seconds later—

He opened them again.

Calm.

Terrifyingly calm.

"System."

[Yes.]

"Close the Alpha channel."

[Confirm?]

"Yes."

The system began listing the consequences.

Loss of computing power.

Loss of White Wings progress.

Loss of causal resistance.

"That's enough."

Yagami Sora interrupted.

"I don't need it."

"I'll walk my own path."

He moved to confirm the command.

But a line of text appeared.

Written in warm golden light.

[Don't worry.]

His finger stopped.

[This was my own choice.]

[—Alpha Timeline, Winter 2056]

Yagami Sora stared at the message.

"…Are you still alive?"

[No.]

The message continued.

[But I lived fifty years in that timeline.]

[And those fifty years were enough.]

Images flashed again.

Students laughing.

Birthdays celebrated.

Friends still alive.

A peaceful world.

The final line appeared.

[The rest of the road…]

[You walk it yourself.]

[—Another You]

The message faded.

Yagami Sora stood in silence.

Tengen also remained quiet.

Finally—

Yagami Sora spoke.

"…Leave the channel open."

The system responded.

[Causal channel preserved.]

[Remaining energy: 37%]

Yagami Sora turned toward the exit.

"There are still people waiting for me in this world."

He stepped through the gate.

Back to the real battlefield.

Back to the future that still needed to be written.

Behind him—

The gate slowly closed.

Outside the corridor—

Yuji Itadori immediately ran up.

"Sora-kun!"

"What did Tengen tell you?"

Yagami Sora shoved his hands into his pockets.

Walking forward casually.

"Nothing important."

Yuji blinked.

"Huh?"

Sora shrugged.

"Just found out I have a very annoying distant relative."

"He owes me a lot of money."

Yuji tilted his head.

"Wait… what?"

Sora smiled faintly.

"He's paying it back now."

[Alpha causal channel: 37% remaining.]

[Every echo is the price he paid to meet you.]

And somewhere across time—

Another version of Yagami Sora watched silently.

The miracle of that summer.

Still continuing.
