Scarlett stood there in a daze, staring at the tiny piece of waffle cone left in her hand.
Although she was a little annoyed, she wasn't actually angry. She simply let out a quiet sigh.
She knew Andrew was only doing it for her own good, but she had really wanted that ice cream.
Whenever she felt unhappy, she used to either drink alcohol or eat ice cream. Ever since she started dating Andrew, however, he refused to let her eat anything cold.
The main reason was that she suffered severe stomach pain every time she had her period. Andrew insisted that she let her stomach recover before eating cold food again.
Thinking about it, Scarlett couldn't help missing the cool sensation of licking an ice cream cone. It had always been so comforting.
