Jay's Pov:
My parents left after staying with us for 3 days, initially they planned to stay for a week but something came up at the company so they had to leave, but I noticed my mother and Keifer got close in these 3 days, they practically became bestfriend and my mom kept telling me that she wouldn't worry about me if he was her son in law, now how do I explain it to her, that he likes someone else.
So I just told her, he was just a good friend.
But it made me wonder what kind of boyfriend, will he be?
I mean I am his close friend, he is taking care of, I mean even if he doesn't end up with Freya, whom ever he ends up with will be a lucky one, I just know.
Because once he start taking care and loving people, he would do anything for them. Like literally anything, he would even swim across oceans for them if he had to, I know it's seems funny but he will really do that!
So I prayed and hoped, he gets the love he deserved, because I know that's all he wants, because I can just tell that from the kinds of dates he wanted, the long night walks and drives and just talking with each other.
He just needs someone who would love him for him and for nothing else and I know he will get that.
I just smiled thinking about that.
It was night I was scrolling through my phone, when Keifer came,
Keifer: "Jay, keep your phone, You have to rest."
Jay: "What am I supposed to do? I am bored"
Keifer: "You still need rest."
He said and sat with me, while I was still on my phone,
Then suddenly my phone pinged and I got a little excited,
Jay: "Yay." I squealed and tapped him aggressively,
Keifer: " What happened? What happened?"
He asked with a hint of panic,
Jay: "David texted me, he is asking how am I doing."
He did not mirror my excitement, instead he took the phone from me hand and said,
Keifer: "No more phone, you have to rest." He said and took my phone and left,
Jay: "But Keifer he was checking on me." I shouted but he left without a heed.
I sulked and said, "Idiot, I don't know what's his problem is. "
Keifer's Pov:
I felt really happy with Jay's mom, she did kind of feel like one for me too, she said that she is relieved that I am taking care of Jay, that means she believes me, which made me happy.
Now I went to Jay, she was looking at phone instead of resting, I warned her but she didn't set her phone and in the middle she squealed and I got scared a little,
Then she said David texted and I could see the excitement in her voice, It hurt like hell, the way she said it.
I don't know what took over me, I just grabbed her phone and asked her to rest and left the room, I know what I did was completely wrong, It wasn't my place to do that.
I have no authority over who she talks to, who she likes, but why does it hurt this much,
It feels like I am losing her but it is ironic I never had her in the first place.
I enter the balcony and sit there in silence,
I did not realise when I start crying until the tears wet my face.
I had no one to talk to, I had no one to share my feelings, all I had was my mom, but she isn't here. Then Jay entered my life, without even realising she became a part of it.
And I couldn't stand the thought of losing her.
I take my wallet out and look at the picture of my mom,
Keifer: "Mom, why did I have to fall in love with her? Why? What if she never feels the same and leaves me like everyone else."
All I get was silence, there wasn't any answer to the questions which I am asking.
I sit there and don't know how but I sleep like that.
Jay's Pov
It's been a few weeks since the accident and I almost alright, but the guy here won't let me to the office until now and I am fed up.
Jay: "Keifer, Please I want to go to the office."
Keifer: " No, means No Jay, you are still recovering."
Jay: "But the doctor said, I could work carefully."
Keifer: "Exactly, If you want you can work from here and I just have a meeting, I will also be back soon and you are not leaving you can work from here."
I sulked and he just chucked,
Keifer: "I am sorry but maybe if you are good and took rest well, I might take you on a drive."
My eyes widened in excitement as soon as he said that,
Jay: "Really?"
Keifer: "Yep but you have to follow the conditions, then you have a deal."
Jay: "Okay, done." I said and showed him a thumbs up with a smile on my face.
