Chapter 8 - Chapter 8 – Sean’s First Harvest

The Malfoy family had stood among the elite of the wizarding world for generations.

Although Voldemort would eventually drag them into ruin in the future, the Malfoys were still enormously wealthy at present.

And for Sean—

They were perfect first investors.

"Of course," Lucius said smoothly after a brief pause. "I'll be waiting for your proposal."

Truthfully, he barely understood half of what Sean was saying.

But one thing was obvious.

Gringotts clearly valued this child highly.

That alone was enough.

Sean didn't waste further time. After paying two hundred Galleons for his wand, he calmly left Ollivanders.

Behind him, Lucius silently watched Sean's departing figure.

Then he slowly turned toward Draco.

Draco was still absentmindedly chewing his fingers while staring blankly around the shop.

Lucius suddenly felt his blood pressure rising.

Smack!

He slapped Draco directly on the back of the head.

Draco nearly jumped in shock.

"Father?!"

"Did you see that boy just now?" Lucius snapped coldly. "Once you enter Hogwarts, learn from him."

"Understood?"

Draco immediately shrank his neck.

"Yes, Father…"

After reuniting with Raymond and Alice, Sean was immediately dragged into the Magical Menagerie by his excited mother.

The shop was filled with magical creatures of every kind imaginable.

Owls.

Cats.

Toads.

And countless strange animals Sean couldn't even name.

Unlike ordinary pets, most magical creatures possessed unusually high intelligence. Even the weaker hybrids behaved almost like small children.

Alice happily examined owls one after another before suddenly turning toward Sean.

"Sean," she asked seriously, "do you actually like money?"

Sean froze briefly.

Then he shook his head.

"Of course not."

"I barely even touch money personally."

"Why are you asking?"

Alice sighed softly.

"Because you discuss business with literally everyone you meet."

"It's almost instinctive."

Sean's face reddened slightly.

For once, he answered honestly.

"Mum…"

He looked quietly at the bustling magical shop around them.

"Money itself doesn't matter."

"It's just a by-product of power."

"I don't care about wealth because we already have enough."

Then his expression slowly became serious.

"But I want power."

"The power to let our family live comfortably in this world."

"And the power to uncover the truth."

Alice stared at him silently for several seconds.

Then she simply smiled softly and stopped asking questions.

Instead, she picked up a cage.

"I want this one."

Inside sat a small snowy owl with bright black eyes. The little creature energetically hopped around the cage before immediately rubbing against Alice's hand affectionately.

"Excellent choice, madam," the shop owner said cheerfully. "Very lively breed. Extremely loyal too."

Alice instantly fell in love.

Meanwhile, Sean selected a larger barred owl for himself.

The two owls cost a total of one hundred and twenty Galleons.

After finishing their shopping, the Sebastian and Granger families finally said goodbye outside the Leaky Cauldron.

Hermione looked particularly reluctant to leave.

She hesitated several times as though wanting to say something to Sean, but eventually allowed her parents to pull her away.

Sean merely waved calmly.

After returning home, Sean immediately locked himself inside his room alongside his owl.

The barred owl tilted its head curiously.

"Hoo?"

Sean ignored it completely and focused on the stack of papers before him.

This was the financial proposal he had promised Hart.

And after careful consideration, Sean had already decided on the wizarding world's first truly explosive financial product.

Insurance.

In the magical world, death could strike at any moment.

Especially for Aurors.

They possessed respectable salaries, social status, and dangerous jobs that constantly placed them near death.

Sean was absolutely certain those people would pay enormous amounts for protection.

After all—

What happened if an Auror died unexpectedly?

What happened to their family?

Their children?

Their spouse?

At that point, Sean's insurance product became irresistible.

Half a year's salary in exchange for lifelong protection for one's family.

No sane Auror would refuse.

Of course…

Simply creating insurance wasn't enough.

Sean also needed marketing.

So he wrote a story.

A tragic love story.

The protagonist was an Auror deeply in love with his wife. Meanwhile, dark forces threatened the wizarding world, and mysterious enemies were plunging Britain into chaos.

As an Auror, the man had no choice but to fight.

But before leaving, he secretly purchased life insurance from Gringotts.

The ending was devastating.

After an intense battle against dark wizards, the Auror died from fatal injuries shortly after victory.

Only afterward did his wife discover she was pregnant.

A widow.

A child not yet born.

A hopeless future.

Then—

Gringotts arrived carrying massive compensation payments.

The final line read:

"If you love your family, purchase Gringotts Life Insurance."

Sean incorporated nearly every emotional manipulation technique he remembered from online advertising and web fiction in his previous life.

The result was terrifyingly effective.

"How is it?"

Sean crossed his legs calmly while looking toward Hart.

The goblin manager's eyes were completely red.

He had clearly been crying.

"Genius…" Hart whispered hoarsely.

"You're an absolute genius."

"Combining emotional storytelling with commercial promotion…"

"I've never seen such shameless business tactics in my entire life."

Sean automatically ignored the word shameless.

Hart immediately corrected himself:

"I mean—I've never seen such brilliant marketing!"

He clutched the proposal tightly like sacred scripture.

"This story alone will attract countless witches," Hart continued excitedly. "Especially married women!"

Sean nodded calmly.

"Publish it in tomorrow's Daily Prophet."

"Prepare the full insurance framework overnight."

"And send promotional letters to every wealthy wizarding family."

Hart immediately bowed respectfully.

"As you command, Young Master."

His body slowly faded into darkness before disappearing from Sean's room entirely.

Sean leaned back in satisfaction.

"Let the wizarding world experience the terror of the insurance industry."

A faint smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.

Just then, Alice's voice drifted upstairs.

"Sean, who are you talking to? Dinner's ready!"

Sean instantly restored his calm expression and walked downstairs.

The next two days passed quickly.

Alice spent nearly all her time preparing Sean's school necessities while Raymond remained unusually close to his son the entire time.

Finally, the thirty-first of August arrived.

At the mansion entrance, Alice was already crying so hard her eyes had turned red.

Only after Sean repeatedly promised to send letters home every week did she reluctantly allow him to leave.

Outside the station, Sean stood beside his luggage and looked toward Seth.

"Seth," he said quietly, "I'm leaving my parents in your care."

The tall butler immediately lowered his head solemnly.

"Young Master," Seth said firmly, "you gave Seth his life."

"I would gladly die protecting Master Raymond and Madam Alice."
