[Yuelan's POV]
In a completely endless white space where one couldn't tell which way was up or down, two figures stood in front of each other, only mere meters apart.
"You know, this isn't really what I expected," Yuelan said, twirling her sword between her fingers as she stared at Lin Fei.
"Why? Did you think I was going to fight you fair and square?" Lin Fei scoffed.
Yuelan shrugged. "I just expected more courtesy... Or I guess a smarter opponent. Do you really think it was wise to enter my mind?"
"Girl... I am more than three centuries older than you. I have seen arrogant geniuses like you rise and fall." He stepped forward and summoned a sword out of thin air, then pointed it at her. "I will kill you here, and then I will kill that annoying brat there. Tsk... So much potential wasted."
"Threatening to kill me? That's fine," Yuelan said as a large amount of Qi suddenly burst from her. "But threatening to kill my brother is where I draw the line."
