CHAPTER 11
A Tuesday morning the air slightly cold while it carried a slight scent of flowers, thanks to the floors newly mopped as sunlight making the floor shiny
during a lecture, a student council member suddenly knocked on the doorframe getting the professor's attention, then walked over after a few moments the prof announce
"Everyone please listen, there is an announcement coming from the student council"
the professor looked at the council member as a signal to move forward after moving forward with a clear voice the council successfully gets the attention of the students
"Good morning everyone I would like to announce the elections for the student council- Blah blah blah"
As Ethan watched from his chair not really interested he turns his head looking at the window while others murmurs and giggling and some stood up to list they're names on the file including Joah
as the council member left Ethan felt a poke on his shoulder followed by a nervous voice
"Hey um hello"
Ethan turns his head and faced him then awkwardly said hi back
"m-my name is yohan you're seatmate
Ethan attempts to extend his hand for a hand shake
"nice to meet you Yohan my name's Ethan"
Yohan then shifts slightly to face him more and shakes Ethan's hand
"well Ethan I've noticed you never really talked to anyone apart from you're friend so I thought you have social anxiety like me so umm maybe you- I mean you and I could-can we be friend I-I mean if you want to"
Ethan's POV
It wouldn't hurt to be friends right? I mean its nice to have friends that's not my cousin or family member
" sure!"
Ethan smiles gently at yohan showing gratitude but … in the background a silent stare could be felt
As they talked they're interrupted by the recess bell
As Ethan stood up with Yohan to go to the canteen Ethan felt an arm grabbed his shoulder then pulling him away from yohan Ethan looked up and saw Joah with this expression an expression that's hard to read then Joah speaks with an expressionless tone
"Who are you?…"
Yohan showed an annoyed face then feigning a polite tone while talking
"Yohan and you are??"
