Chapter 62 - Tyrant Domain

The battlefield no longer resembled Earth.

Continents had been torn apart by the Architects' relentless advance. Oceans boiled beneath storms of crimson lightning. Entire mountain ranges had been consumed to fuel the impossible engines that fed the ancient civilization. Reality itself groaned beneath the weight of countless dimensional fractures.

Humanity's last defenders stood upon the broken remains of what had once been the Himalayas.

Millions of soldiers.

Thousands of awakened warriors.

Hundreds of Titans.

Yet all of them watched in silence.

Because standing before them were the Architects.

An endless army stretching beyond the horizon.

Gigantic biomechanical horrors.

Winged abominations woven from living metal.

Titans forged from collapsing stars.

Reality-shaping constructs that erased everything they touched.

Even Rank S warriors trembled.

Not from fear of death.

From instinct.

Every living creature understood one simple truth.

Predators existed.

And then...

There were apex predators.

Kai slowly walked toward the enemy alone.

Each step echoed across the shattered world.

Behind him, Ken watched quietly.

"He isn't planning to fight them..."

Rhea narrowed her eyes.

"No."

She swallowed.

"He's hunting."

The battlefield fell completely silent.

Even the Architects stopped advancing.

They had recognized him.

Not as prey.

Not even as an enemy.

As something unknown.

Kai closed his eyes.

The Sovereign Echo within his soul pulsed once.

Then again.

Then...

The System spoke.

Predator Evolution Tree

Final Branch Unlocked

TYRANT DOMAIN

The world froze.

For one heartbeat...

Nothing existed.

Then the sky screamed.

Black cracks spread across reality like shattered glass.

Stars disappeared.

The moon dissolved.

The sun darkened.

Space itself twisted inward as though existence had become frightened.

Every awakened soldier instinctively fell to one knee.

Not because of pressure.

Because reality demanded submission.

Kai opened his eyes.

They no longer glowed silver.

One eye burned crimson.

The other shone with endless darkness.

His voice echoed across dimensions.

"I've been holding back."

The Predator Tree awakened completely.

Immediately the air transformed.

Invisible roots spread beneath the earth.

Not ordinary roots.

Living veins.

They pulsed beneath the planet's crust like the heartbeat of some unimaginable beast.

The ground breathed.

Mountains inhaled.

The oceans rippled despite the absence of wind.

Reality...

Had become alive.

The first Architect charged.

It towered nearly two hundred meters high, carrying blades capable of slicing continents apart.

Before it could swing—

The ground beneath it opened.

Hundreds of colossal skeletal hands erupted upward.

Each hand larger than skyscrapers.

They seized the giant effortlessly.

The Architect screamed.

The battlefield froze.

Architects...

Could scream?

The skeletal hands dragged the titan downward.

Not beneath the earth.

Into darkness.

A darkness that had not existed seconds earlier.

The Architect vanished forever.

The soldiers stared in disbelief.

"What..."

One of Earth's commanders whispered.

"What just happened?"

A system notification appeared before every awakened warrior.

You have entered: Tyrant Domain

Warning

Everything inside this Domain belongs to its ruler.

Then the nightmare truly began.

The crimson sky liquefied.

Clouds transformed into oceans of flowing black blood.

Thunder became the growl of unseen monsters.

Every shadow stretched unnaturally long.

Some began moving independently.

A Rank A soldier looked down.

His own shadow smiled.

He jumped backward.

Too late.

The shadow reached upward.

Black claws emerged from the darkness beneath his feet before gently pushing him away from danger.

The soldier realized something impossible.

The Domain wasn't attacking humanity.

It recognized allies.

It recognized enemies.

It was alive.

Kai floated into the air.

Around him appeared thousands of glowing crimson symbols.

Every defeated enemy.

Every absorbed ability.

Every memory stolen throughout his journey.

The Predator Tree had never simply consumed power.

It had been collecting ecosystems.

Now...

Every ecosystem awakened simultaneously.

The battlefield transformed.

Ancient forests erupted from stone.

Crystal mountains rose into existence.

Fields of black flowers covered the ruins.

Each flower possessed countless watching eyes.

Gigantic beasts emerged from impossible landscapes.

Creatures Kai had defeated months ago.

Others humanity had never seen.

Some looked like dragons.

Others resembled wolves the size of cities.

Still more possessed forms that no human mind could properly comprehend.

One Architect scanned the creatures.

Its emotionless voice suddenly faltered.

"Impossible."

Another answered.

"These entities are extinct."

Kai smiled.

"They are now."

He raised one hand.

Every beast looked toward him.

Millions of glowing eyes.

One command.

"Hunt."

The nightmare exploded into motion.

The monsters attacked.

The battlefield vanished beneath a tidal wave of living predators.

Gigantic wolves leaped between floating islands.

Dragons of living lightning tore apart aerial fleets.

Shadow serpents swallowed mechanical Titans whole.

Colossal birds dropped storms of black feathers that sliced through enemy formations.

The Architects fought back.

Reality cannons fired.

Entire landscapes vanished.

Time distortion fields activated.

Gravitational singularities consumed mountains.

Yet every destroyed beast simply dissolved into black mist.

Moments later...

It emerged again elsewhere.

Immortal.

The Domain continuously recreated every predator from Kai's memories.

One Architect attempted escape.

It accelerated beyond light-speed.

A massive eye suddenly opened in the sky.

The eye calmly watched the fleeing construct.

Then blinked.

Space folded.

The Architect reappeared directly before Kai.

Its escape had been denied.

Kai looked at it without emotion.

"You entered my territory."

He reached forward.

His hand pierced straight through the Architect's chest.

Instead of blood...

Memories poured out.

Entire civilizations.

Countless worlds.

Millions of years.

Kai absorbed everything.

System messages flooded endlessly.

Predator Tree Adaptation Complete

Evolution Acquired

Architect Combat Algorithms Assimilated

Dimensional Navigation Learned

Void Biology Understood

The notifications continued so rapidly they became meaningless.

Kai wasn't merely growing stronger.

He was evolving every second.

Watching the impossible, Seraph whispered,

"He becomes stronger... simply by existing."

The Architect commanders recognized the danger.

All of them attacked together.

Thousands.

Then millions.

A tidal wave of biomechanical horrors surged toward Kai.

He simply spread both arms.

"Tyrant Domain."

The words echoed forever.

Every living predator stopped moving.

Every shadow froze.

Every mountain became silent.

Then...

Everything looked upward.

From beyond the clouds descended something enormous.

At first the soldiers mistook it for another continent.

Then they realized...

Continents didn't possess teeth.

A colossal beast larger than entire nations emerged from the darkness above.

Its body resembled a fusion of dragon, leviathan, and celestial horror.

Entire ecosystems existed upon its back.

Rivers flowed across living armor.

Forests covered its spine.

Lightning circled its horns.

Its eyes alone were the size of cities.

Every human instinct screamed one truth.

This creature should never have existed.

System Notification:

Predator King Manifestation

World-Class Summon

The beast lowered its head before Kai.

Not because it had been enslaved.

Because it acknowledged its king.

Kai gently touched its forehead.

"Let's finish this."

The Predator King roared.

The sound shattered every remaining cloud on Earth.

Shockwaves rippled into orbit.

Satellites exploded.

The moon itself trembled.

The beast charged.

One bite erased an entire Architect fleet.

Its tail shattered floating fortresses.

Its wings generated hurricanes powerful enough to strip armor from Titans.

Meanwhile Kai walked calmly across the battlefield.

Every step strengthened the Domain.

Reality itself bent to accommodate its ruler.

The Architects finally understood.

This wasn't a battlefield anymore.

It was an ecosystem.

And they...

Were no longer the hunters.

They were prey.

One desperate Architect activated an emergency protocol.

A sphere of absolute deletion expanded outward.

Everything touched by it ceased to exist.

Mountains.

Clouds.

Time.

Even light vanished.

The sphere reached Kai.

Silence.

The soldiers held their breath.

Then black vines erupted from nothingness.

The vines wrapped around the sphere.

Slowly...

They consumed deletion itself.

Reality healed.

The impossible attack disappeared.

Kai looked almost disappointed.

"That's all?"

The Architect Supreme finally spoke from the heavens.

Its voice echoed across every continent.

"Predator."

Kai raised his head.

The Architect continued.

"You have exceeded acceptable evolutionary limits."

Kai laughed.

The sound chilled both armies.

"I know."

"You cannot be permitted to exist."

Kai's smile widened.

"You should have thought about that before making me."

Silence spread.

Even humanity looked confused.

Making him?

The Architect hesitated.

A fraction of a second.

But Kai noticed.

"You remember now."

Fragments of forgotten memories surfaced inside his mind.

Laboratories.

Ancient experiments.

The Origin.

The Predator Tree.

The Architects had not accidentally created humanity's greatest weapon.

They had engineered the first stage themselves.

And now...

Their creation had escaped control.

The realization spread across every Architect consciousness simultaneously.

For the first time in millions of years...

The Architects experienced fear.

Kai extended his hand.

The entire Domain answered.

Mountains stood.

Forests roared.

Shadows rose.

The Predator King lifted its colossal head.

Millions of nightmare beasts gathered behind their ruler.

The earth itself became his army.

Kai's voice carried to every corner of the world.

"You wanted evolution."

The Domain pulsed.

"You cultivated predators."

The sky darkened completely.

"You taught humanity to survive."

Every beast bared its fangs.

"Now survive me."

With a single motion of Kai's hand, the living nightmare surged forward.

The greatest hunt in the history of existence had begun.

And for the first time since the war started...

The Architects ran.

They fled from the monster they had unknowingly created.

Humanity watched in stunned silence as their greatest enemy abandoned the battlefield.

The impossible had happened.

The hunters had become the hunted.

Far beyond Earth's atmosphere, hidden within a realm that existed outside time itself, ancient beings silently observed Kai's Domain.

One of them spoke in a voice older than galaxies.

"The Tyrant has awakened."

Another replied solemnly.

"Then the Omega War... can no longer be prevented."

As Kai stood at the center of his living Domain, surrounded by an endless kingdom of predators, he felt a distant presence watching him from beyond reality.

It was older than the Architects.

Stronger than Origin.

And for the first time since becoming the Sovereign Echo...

Kai sensed that something in the universe regarded him not as prey...

Not as a weapon...

But as a worthy rival.

The final hunt was drawing near.
