Nadia had lived in the countryside until she was about eight years old. Her parents had to leave her to grandmother because they were too busy with the company they established, and leaving her to a nanny was not good for her emotional health.
This was actually one point of debate between the couple. Her father didn't care if she was raised by a nanny, as long as she went to school in a city and didn't embarrass him.
