Chapter 1 - Unheard Voice

That morning did not arrive with a shout, but with a whisper. The sky was still gray, reluctant to reveal the light, while the world around it rushed forward, chasing its routines. Footsteps echoed in haste, engines hummed in restless rhythm, and time itself seemed to push everyone to keep moving.

But in his mind, nothing truly moved.

There was only one question that refused to fade:

What am I living for?

He looked around. People walked quickly, each with their own destination chasing classes, chasing careers, or simply chasing time itself. Everyone seemed to have a direction.

But him?

He felt as though he stood at a long crossroads, with no signposts in sight.

His college notebook was filled with scribbles, numbers, formulas, experiments. He could understand it all. He could write, calculate, and complete every task well.

Yet every time he closed the book, something seemed to disappear with it.

An emptiness.

As if there was a part within him that no knowledge had ever reached.

"Why does a goal feel hollow once it's achieved?"

He had once asked that question in silence. Answers came from lecturers, from friends, even from his own inner voice. But they only brushed the surface, never truly sinking in.

Sometimes, he envied those who could laugh freely without questioning the meaning behind their laughter. Sometimes, he admired those who could simply follow the flow of life without stumbling over questions that ran too deep and sometimes… he just wanted to stop thinking but his mind refused to be still.

He let out a slow breath and stared at the ceiling that was when he noticed it.

Something was… different.

A thin crack.

Not on the wall.

Not in the paint.

But in the air itself.

He blinked, trying to steady his vision. Yet the crack remained subtle, almost invisible, like a line splitting something that was never meant to be broken.

His heartbeat quickened.

The voice returned.

But this time… it was not like before.

Not merely an echo of his thoughts.

"You're starting to see it."

He froze.

The room remained silent. There was no one there.

Yet the voice was too clear to be dismissed as imagination.

He swallowed, his fingers unconsciously tightening around the edge of his notebook.

What will this life become… if I keep walking without direction?

This time, the question no longer felt entirely like his own.

He didn't know the answer.

But for the first time, he felt something else

He wasn't alone inside his mind.

And somehow, beneath the fear slowly taking shape, there was something unexpected.

Relief.

Because perhaps, this was where everything truly began not from certainty, but from the courage to accept the unknown.

And just like that, the first chapter begins.

With a quiet wanderer,

who does not seek instant answers but who has unknowingly knocked on the door of a world he never knew existed..
