Chapter 3 - The Dragon War: World War III — Part 3 (The Dragon Emperor)

Arjun and the Sky Guardians flew through the blazing portal.

For a moment, everything around them disappeared. The sky twisted like a storm of fire and lightning. When their vision returned, they were no longer on Earth.

They had entered the Inferno Dimension.

The land was terrifying. Rivers of lava flowed across endless black mountains. The sky burned red like a giant flame. Massive dragons flew in the distance, their wings blocking the fiery clouds.

Even the ancient dragon Ignivar trembled slightly.

"This… is the Emperor's world," he said.

Suddenly, the ground shook.

A roar echoed across the dimension — louder than thunder, louder than exploding volcanoes.

From the largest mountain rose a gigantic dragon.

The Dragon Emperor.

His body was larger than a city. His scales were black as space, and his eyes glowed like burning suns. Every breath he released created storms of fire across the sky.

Even the bravest warriors felt fear.

Arjun looked up and whispered,

"So this is the true enemy of World War III."

The Dragon Emperor spoke in a voice that shook the air.

"Humans… insects from another world… you dare enter my kingdom?"

The Sky Guardians attacked first.

The lightning warrior from Tokyo blasted thunder across the sky.

The pilot from New York City fired plasma missiles from her armored jet suit.

The fighter from Rio de Janeiro dashed through the air at incredible speed.

But the Emperor barely moved.

With one swipe of his gigantic wing, a shockwave threw everyone across the burning mountains.

Ignivar struggled to fly again.

"We cannot defeat him with strength," the dragon growled. "His power comes from the portal itself."

Arjun suddenly remembered the glowing crystal he carried — the same crystal that once sealed the Void King.

The crystal began shining brighter and brighter.

A voice echoed in his mind.

"The balance between worlds must be restored."

Arjun understood.

The portal between Earth and the Inferno Dimension was feeding the Emperor unlimited power. If the portal was closed, the Emperor would lose his strength.

But to close it, someone had to reach its center — a giant energy storm floating high above the dimension.

It was almost impossible to reach.

Almost.

Arjun climbed onto Ignivar's back again.

"We're going to the portal core," he said.

Ignivar roared with determination and flew straight upward through storms of fire. The Dragon Emperor chased them, breathing flames that melted mountains below.

The battle shook the entire dimension.

Finally, Arjun reached the glowing center of the portal.

The Emperor lunged forward, opening his massive jaws.

At the last second, Arjun raised the crystal and shouted:

"For Earth!"

The crystal exploded with brilliant light.

The portal collapsed.

A massive shockwave spread across the Inferno Dimension.

Without the portal's energy, the Dragon Emperor weakened rapidly. His giant body slowly turned to stone and collapsed onto the burning mountains.

The Emperor was defeated.

Arjun and the Sky Guardians barely escaped through the closing portal.

They crashed back onto Earth as the sky returned to normal.

The red moon disappeared.

The Dragon War was finally over.

People across the world celebrated. Humans and dragons gathered together in peace.

Arjun looked up at the stars above Bengaluru and smiled.

The world had survived its greatest war.

But legends of the Dragon Emperor would be told for generations.

Because everyone knew one thing:

As long as courage exists, no darkness can destroy the world.
