Dark clouds covered the sacred forests of Karnataka.
The wind moved through the giant trees like a warning from the ancient spirits.
Deep inside the forest stood Shiva, the chosen guardian of Panjurli.
But this time the enemy was different.
From far away in Birmingham, the powerful gang leader Thomas Shelby had arrived with his brothers.
Their mission was simple.
Control the mysterious power of the forest.
Arthur Shelby laughed loudly as they walked through the jungle.
"Brother, this place is just trees and villagers," said Arthur Shelby.
"But if the stories are true," Thomas replied calmly,
"there is something powerful hidden here."
Suddenly the wind stopped.
The forest became silent.
Then Shiva appeared.
His body was covered with sacred paint and firelight reflected in his eyes.
"The forest is not yours to control," Shiva said.
Arthur Shelby raised his gun.
But before he could shoot, the ground shook.
Roots burst from the soil like giant snakes.
The forest itself was alive.
