"Let's go with brains." The old man stated.
"Okay. Let me tell this guy who by now thinks I'm losing it." He stated as he turned to Mick. Ooh he had seen alot of this hence never thought he was losing it. He knew this guy had already lost it.
"Brains."
"A single word to me but a paragraph to the portrait." The words came to his head as Mick shook them off before responding to the other guy.
"Tin, brains." He responded as they all walked from the van.
"Say next if you want the person to enter the building." Mick stated and begun.
"First, he even got a higher mark than you," he stated then paused as if to let the pain sink in.
"Which exam?"
"The same one you did. Apperantly after the exam is when they were informed on coming here."
"Okay." He responded.
"He'll be it." The portrait stated.
"My secretary!" He said aloud turning to the portrait.
Mick looked at him. At this rate he was the one loosing it.
"Yes." The guy responded and was back to his position.
"He's better than you in education." Madrigal continued trying not to move his lips.
"Fuck it. I'm not interested." Dylan stated and walked away.
"You haven't heard his name!!" Mick shouted at him but no response came. He turned his head to find the portrait staring.
"I don't believe you exist." He stated looking at it and pointed his middle finger before listening in to the walkie talkie.
"Excuse me sir why is Venice standing ahead?" Tiw asked after a while.
"It's the bosses order."
"Isn't he on vacation?" He asked. This was in accordance to what they were informed on. The guy was silent. This boy was noisier than he thought.
"I told him to have you move forward." A voice came. They looked up. It was Mick.
They were all silent.
"He is Mick. The head of security."
"And your leader." He stated and walked to them.
"Venice." He stated as the boy looked at him.
"Yes." He responded.
"You'll be Dylan's secretary."
"Dylan...who is he?"
"Great grandchild of Madrigal."
"Isn't he Mich..."
"Don't use the name here. Only his great grandfather calls him that."
"And the news..." Tiw stayed and smiled. The rest held their breaths so as not to show emotions. It was well known that the great grandchild, 'Dylan' killed his grandpa.
"Okay so when I call you you walk in." He stated. Venice looked up at the building. It had traces of white paint as the building was covered in some green plantation.
"Before I begin the third floor is out of reach to anyone who isn't called."
"How many floors are there?"
"Four. Excluding the ground one. Okay let's begin. Venice..."
"Call me Nice." He stated and walked in. Mick gave a sarcastic look to him before turning back.
"Okay. Next is Tiw. Or do you have any 'requests'?"
"Oh yes. I need food."
"Fuck off young man." He stated and looked back at the sheets at hand.
"Tay." The boy walked up already full of fear.
"Charlie, Kevin, Bison, Joseph, First, Sheen and finally Nick." He handed the file to the Tin and followed the boys.
"So first off this is the living room." The room was spacious with three parts. A dining area. The center had a table and sofasets. The other end had cushions and a TV set. Everything was clean and perfect. White in colour and a touch of gold. We all looked around amazed by the beauty. Maybe the scent or maybe the wealth we had never visualized. A staircase was present. Then an elevator at the other end.
"That is for the bosses. We use the stairs." Mick stated as the walked up the stairs.
"Second floor is the variety staffrooms. Here there is music, security meeting room, art area and all the fields you are to specialize on. He stated as they walked up.
"This level is..."
"Out of bounds." They said already annoyed. They continued walking up.
"Okay talking about the music room it is combined with art room but also both are out of bounds plus the roof top. Let's say the floor is not to your reach until we finish high schooling. Finally..." The staircase narrowed. Then ended in a disolate corridor. He turned on the lights.
"These are your rooms. Plus all the workers.. up is the rooftop which is also..."
"Out of bounds." They stated as he smiled happily. Finally he was the one in charge. And he enjoyed it.
"Keys are infront of your rooms. It's getting late so shower up and I'll be waiting to take you down for supper. Plus introduction to all other members present." He stated as they all walked. The doors each had tags of various people.
"Venice." He read it out and tore the beginning.
"Won't he be angry?" Tiw asked. His room was opposite.
"As if I care." He responded. They were ordered not to carry anything except the most needed. Once inside, he opened the doors to the wardrobe. It was opposite the single person bed. Some clothes were neatly arranged in the drawers as the hangers held done new uniforms. Three sets. He looked at the logo.
St Vincent highschool. He picked some clothes and walked to the bathroom. It was clean. Everything was particularly arranged. One end was the toilet and the other a shower. He was already used to the communal shower. Then he felt a shadow pass by him. He shrugged the thought off and showered. Once done he walked to the balcony and looked below. The balcony was of small area to be precise. He saw three graves.
"Only one spirit is present." He spoke and walked back putting on his clothes.
"Why do you hate a boy whose name you don't even know?" Madrigal asked as the boy continued painting. The image turned out horrible.
"I don't like competition."
"Like the way your parents had Lilly and pretended you never existed?"
"Can't say that. They think I'm insane. Plus cut the chase no one ever loved me."
"Except for me."
"Whenever you bring it up you never speak it wholly so why bring it up?"
"No...oh yes!"
"Now what?"
"There is a jewel paying respect at my grave. Finally someone feels me except this fool I stayvwith." He stated as he closed his eyes to feel the glory. Dylan placed his brushes down and rushed to the window. A boy in a blue hood was there. Before the three graves. Then the boy looked up. He hid hurriedly.
"Why hide? Pick another paper and try yet again." Madrigal stated as he looked at the pile of papers the boy had destroyed with his rusty painting.
