Name: (Y/N) Kayama
Age: 16 (Season 1)
Occupation: U.A Student
Affiliation: U.A High School
APPEARANCE
He is a handsome teenager with short, light-brown hair and sharp gray eyes that often appear distant and unreadable. He stands tall at 183 cm, with a lightly toned complexion and a prominent scar running along the left side of his face and down his neck, a permanent mark left by the villain who murdered his parents.
Much of his appearance is inherited from them. His father was a tall, average-looking Korean man who had migrated to Japan, while his mother was a Japanese woman with gentle, understated beauty. The combination of their features gave (Y/N) a striking yet natural look, one that draws attention even when he makes no effort to stand out.
The scar, however, is what people notice most. It disrupts his otherwise composed appearance, serving as a constant reminder of his past and the pain that shaped the person he has become.
PERSONALITY
He is a stoic, calm, and collected teenager, rarely allowing his emotions to surface. This composed demeanor gives him an air of mystery, making him difficult to read. As a child, however, he was far more easygoing, bright, curious, and no different from any other kid.
That changed after a traumatic encounter with a villain in his childhood. The incident cost him his parents and left him with a scar, both physical and psychological.
Since then, he has become obsessively driven to pursue strength, dedicating himself to growing more powerful so he can one day hunt down the villain with eyes marked by petal-like yellow rings and exact his revenge.
Like that one criminal back in the alleyway, whom he killed because he was useless, who didn't even know the villain (Y/N) was referring to back then.
As the years passed, this fixation twisted part of his personality. A darker, more unsettling side of him emerged, one that surfaces only when he fights at full capacity or when the pain in his scar flares, dragging the memories of that day back to the forefront of his mind.
Even so, (Y/N) has not lost himself completely. Thanks to Nemuri, who serves as both his guardian, adopted mother, and emotional anchor, he still clings to his humanity, kept from fully sinking into the darkness that constantly emerges.
RELATIONSHIPS
Nemuri Kayama / Midnight (Adopted Mother) ALIVE.
- After the incident in Chiba Prefecture, (Y/N) was placed into the foster care system, having lost both of his parents at a young age. It was during this time that Nemuri took notice of him. Whether it was pity, concern, or something deeper, she couldn't bring herself to leave the boy to face his grief alone, and ultimately chose to adopt him.
- Although (Y/N) had already begun training on his own after his Quirk awakened, Nemuri saw the gaps in his growth. She took it upon herself to guide him, not just in combat or hero fundamentals, but in areas he lacked: discipline, life skills, emotional restraint, and human connection.
- Her training was strict, but never cruel, balancing toughness with genuine care.
- Nevertheless, their relationship was never a simple one. Nemuri was fully aware of the darkness festering within him, the obsession, the revenge-driven mindset, the way his scar seemed to ache whenever the past resurfaced. Rather than deny it, she chose to anchor him, grounding him whenever he strayed too close to losing himself.
- To (Y/N), Nemuri is more than just his guardian. She is his moral compass, his tether to humanity.
Itsuka Kendo (Childhood friend) (Strained) ALIVE
- To be added.
Abilities and Powers
Overall Skill Level: After getting his quirk from a tragic event occured to him. He immediately stopped talking to others and focused on his quirk, which caused him to have some experience, coupled that with getting adopted by Midnight herself. It was clear that he was pretty skilled.
EST Manipulation: A phenomenon that is apart of his Quirk. He is skilled in manipulating his EST and wielding his Quirk, as shown by his mastery of his Quirk.
Quirk: Hell -
(Y/N)'s Quirk allows him to create and control a solidified form of darkness. By default, he can manifest humanoid creatures or their specific body parts to form groups or an army that overwhelms his opponents.
Thanks to their darkness-based properties, these creations can also be used to blind an opponent's vision.
His army can merge into a larger entity, taking the form of a massive undead woman, which he can either mount or rest inside her mouth. Alternatively, he can summon monstrous apparitions to manifest large organisms or objects.
While the Quirk itself is pure darkness, he can also manifest it as a large executioner's sword, which enhances his control over his current techniques, or moves.
Weakness:
1. Light and Radiance -
His Quirk is based on solidified darkness. Direct sunlight, strong flames, flashbangs, and light-based Quirks weaken or shrink his techniques.
2. High Cost Of EST -
Maintaning the large construct cost too much EST, which is why he minimizes using those moves against someone, using moves that doesn't deplete his EST reserves
---END OF CHAPTER---
Pretty sure that'll be for today. I'll work on the first chapter now. I'm trying not to make (Y/N) too overpowered, but don't worry. All those weaknesses will disappear in later seasons.
