Hannah gasped, her eyes fluttering shut as a wave of intense, electric pleasure shot up her spine from the simple pressure of his gloved fingers against her hyper-sensitive clitoris. With a cold, mocking sneer, Hebner reached out and wiped his stained fingers directly across the front of Hannah's own tunic, smearing her own wetness into the fabric over her breast.

"Filth," Hebner spat, his voice dripping with an unadulterated, icy venom that cut through the lingering warmth in her veins. He straightened his robes, his eyes turning dead and unfeeling as he looked down at her shivering, desperate form. "You are nothing but a leaking vessel of basic animal instinct. Enjoy your solitary heat, human. It is the closest you will ever get to the Sovereign."

Later when alone;

But his carnal madness was too strong. Driven by a reckless, unholy curiosity, Hebner lowered his head. He parted his lips and swiped his tongue across the dark leather of his glove, licking the remaining cream off the surface

"Damn her!."

Hebner looked down at her through hooded lashes, a cold, mocking smile playing at the corner of his lips. "What is the matter, human?" he murmured, his voice dripping with an insulting calm. "I thought you wanted me. I thought you said you would do anything to get me to fuck you."


Hannah wiped the tears from her eyes, her throat burning, her heart hammering against her ribs. She knew exactly what he was doing—he was trying to terrify her, trying to use physical dominance to make her stop, to make her run away so he could claim victory over her desire.
