Julius did not wait around for another second. Julius spun around and walked as fast as his legs could carry him.
He burst through the doors of the back hallway and came straight into the main lounge area. His eyes scanned the crowded room, desperately searching for a familiar face.
Daniel, who was standing by the main entrance doors, noticed Julius the exact moment he came out of the corridor.
He saw the pale look on Julius's face, the wide eyes, and the way his chest was heaving. Daniel's body went totally rigid. He immediately lifted his hand and made a quick signal to the four elite guards scattered around the room.
Circle up, the signal meant.
Julius hurried toward the bar, but before he could reach his stool, Marcus noticed him too. Marcus quickly closed the tablet he was using to do his computer research and stood up from his seat near the pillar.
"Julius," Marcus said, his voice low but urgent as he stepped into his path. "What happened? Did you find the office?"
