Chapter 106 - Chapter 106

'I've really changed huh…' Alan thought to himself as he slowly opened the passenger side of the car door open and lowered himself as he got seated inside the sports car.

Looking around at the interior, he once more felt the complete and utter disparity between what he was, how he lived and what Alice was and how she lived.

'Immortal damn rich vampires, does she have some kind of castle in Transylvania too or something?' Alan thought to himself amusedly as he took the seatbelt and secured himself in before turning to face Alice, who had stopped once she had sat down and had an expression that Alan desperately did not want to see on her face.

Her small smile was slowly widening into one that could only be called the peak of mischievousness.

Slowly, he opened his mouth as he was gazing at her, now wide toothy smile.

"Alice… why are you smiling like that." Alan asked slowly, his voice tense despite the fact that even now it was slightly tinged with confusion, had it been any other supernatural creature besides Alice, Alan would have already jumped out of the car and summoned his spear and thrust it towards its head, however for some reason, the more time he spent with Alice Cullen… the more he trusted her instinctively, it was a sensation that he was still trying to pinpoint the reason behind however he had yet to find anything that would give him a satisfying enough answer.

"Why am I smiling like what? I'm just happy that you're coming with me… to my house… whilst I…. will be driving." Alice said, her voice sounded teasing and it was clear that she was about to do something as soon as he saw her lean further up in the car seat, closer to the steering wheel and then turn on the key ignition.

'Ah… It won't be that bad. I thought she had something else in mind.' Alan thought as he slowly realized she would simply be doing a bit of speeding, nothing to insane, and so with those damning thoughts in mind, he leaned back into his passanger side seat and put his head back against the headrest.

It was merely a moment later however that he soon realized that it would not be something as easy as that especially when dealing with someone like Alice who clearly and most definetly was not human, to her something mischevious wasn't simply speeding like a regular human on the street, no it was slamming down onto the gas pedal until it hit the bottom and it couldn't go any more and then never lifting her foot off of the gas pedal ever again until they reached their destination.

As soon as she slammed her foot onto the gas pedal, the car lurched forward at frankly frightening speeds as Alan felt his head slam back against the headrest harder than he had ever had it slam even when he had been with friends or in a speeding car.

His vision that had improved beyond any human limits, wasn't doing him any favors at the moment, no in fact it was simply making things far worse, there was no blur of sight, nothing like that all all, he could see each and every single corner and tree and everything they were barely missing, he could see exactly how close to his death he was with each and every second.

"ALICE!" Alan shouted a his entired body swung towards the driver side of the car after a particularly nasty corner that Alice had somehow managed to take at maximum speed on the Porsche.

"What is it!" Alice replied as she laughed out loud, her eyes seemed to be twinkingly with light a complete opposite to Alan's whose eyes had widened with what could only be called surprise and a good dose of fear.

'I do not want to die like this you crazy bitch! If we crash, you survive, I get turned into damned meat paste. No, no way. I survived everything, I survived getting a system, going into a dungeon, defeating monstrous slimes, defeating damned Johana and this is how I'm going to die.' Alan thought to himself, he almost felt like crying right there and then, and yet he knew that there was nothing he could do to stop the madwoman that was currently sitting besides him whilst she laughed her ass off and drove them towards the Cullen Mansion.

'I don't care… I am telling her parent that he should educate this child of his more.' Alan thought as he slowly lifted his hand and grabbed the handle that was on the door and then onto the middle parting between the two seats with his other hand and held on for what felt like dear life and it wasn't just feeling, it was quite exactly that.

'You have super senses, you have all of that for sure Alice, but the car doesn't have super natural handling damned it, what if something unexpected shows up on the road, what if some rock is on there and you can't avoid it even if you do see it, what then? I just die.' Alan thought to himself as his hands that were holding onto the car shook slightly. It was at that moment that Alice turned her head towards him, whilst still driving at frankly insane speeds and giggled.

"STOP GIGGLING AND LOOK AT THE ROAD!" Alan shouted almost instantly right back in her face as soon as she had turned to face towards him, feeling like his life was finally starting to flash before his eyes.

'I can see it, I can see my parents waving at me from the other side of the river.' Alan thought to himself in despair.
