The final god settled into its chair, and the golden hall became too heavy for silence.
Hajin remained near the wall as the memory sharpened around the table. Brief details appeared within the assembled silhouettes before the past blurred them again.
Only the Goddess seated at that table retained any warmth.
She surveyed the others with an easy smile, hands folded before her as if this were one of countless meetings shared across eternity.
'She is happy to see them, and they are about to use that trust against her.'
The presence at the head of the table rose slightly.
"We have gathered to discuss a matter concerning the balance of our worlds," it announced as its pale eyes passed across the gods.
"Which systems," the Goddess asked as her smile remained in place.
"Ours, but specifically yours," the central figure answered with its hands resting against the black surface.
'They know the request already, so the meeting began before she entered the room.'
