The celestial chain uncoiled from Hajin's left wrist, its links whistling through the ozone-charged air to wrap securely around Cessy's slender forearm.
A sharp, crackling hiss echoed through the cavern as holy celestial light made physical contact with suppressed abyssal flesh.
Instead of burning each other away in mutual annihilation, the opposing energies flared into a vibrant braid of incandescent starlight and deep violet void fire.
The metallic links creaked under the sudden thermal and spiritual shock, glowing with an eerie amethyst radiance that cast dancing shadows across the cavern walls.
"Don't let your holy light scorch my skin, big brother!" Cessy called out, her sharp teeth gritted against the initial sting.
"Keep your void poison away from my core and we won't have an issue," he answered flatly, keeping his footing secure.
"Ooh, touchy!" she laughed, opening the floodgates of her suppressed demonic reserve.
