The ceramic blade continued through Ash's incomplete shimmer while Hajin held its fractured length between two Aegis surfaces.
Pale fragments drifted from the broken curve around Ash's wrist and left most of the orbit open before the advancing point.
Lana reached across the partition, but another step would bring her arm through the barrier pressure containing the stored fire.
"Stay behind the line," Hajin said, tightening Aegis around the blade's flat. "I will move him away when the point finally stops."
Lana kept both hands extended while she watched Ash stand between the weapon and Mera.
"He blink-stepped over beside it on his own," she said. "You cannot move him now without touching that whole spell."
Vella maintained both palms over Mera's wound and prevented the copied treatment route from tearing open beneath the blade.
The child remained unconscious on the cot while golden mana held every damaged vessel around the buried fragment.
