Nari looked toward the distant mark and opened both smoke-gold folds before she answered. "We stay separate for this one, and you cross alone."
Rumi opened the known road and traveled alone toward the mountain basin. Her two Wings sustained one person easily, because no foundation mass entered the route behind her.
