It had been years since Nero had been reincarnated into the world of Danmachi and so far, nothing, no special abilities, no system to help him become stronger, the only benefit that he seemed to have was been born in Orario
"Hey Nero, stop sighing and serve the customers" shouted an old man
"Whatever you say dad" Nero complained looking around the quiet pub "not like there's much to do here anyway" he mumbled
"You say something" his dad grunted
"Nothing" Nero replied with a sigh as he went to clean the tables "can't a god or a goddess come here and take me away from this place already" he mumbled, already having given up on the prospect of it actually happening
Just then the taverns doors opened and a stunning goddess walked in and scanned the room, seemingly looking for something, the few customers looking at her with revereence for a second before returning to their meals after noticing that she wasn't a goddess that they recognized
"You there" she says pointing at Nero "you will do" she states walking over to him "come with me" grabbing him by the wrist and taking him towards the backroom
"Hey what the hell" Nero complained before hearing a voice in his head
"Divine power detected, system installing based on divine power characteristics"
Pushing him into the backroom the goddess closed the door and then turned to Nero "I am Aurathia, goddess of training and women, and I have decided that you shall be the first to join my Familia"
"Sorry, never heard of you" Nero replied
"I... I am a new goddess, a poweful one at that" Aurathia said starting to stumble over her words
"So you've just descended?" Nero asked
"That is correct" she replied regaining her confidence
"So that means that you have no money, no connections, no shelter and have no real idea of how things work around here" Nero stated bluntly
"I... I will get all of those things from now on so long as you help me, you will be getting a falna and become stronger and based on how you don't have one yet that seems to state that the gods and goddesses of Orario have no interest in you" Aurathia fired back
"Ugh" Nero groaned, being hit in his weak point
"System installation complete, to continue using system host must be contracted with the original owner of the divine power for the system to fully activate"
Going through the options in his head of either: waiting until he caught the eye of a stronger Familia, stay working at the crappy diner owned by his father or take the risk of joining this goddess, getting a falna and hoping that whatever skills he got from his system was worth it, he chose the final one
"Well so long as you give me your blessing's I'll get stronger even if I never end up going into the labrynth and I can finally get out of this crap hole once you actually get a full Familia so I guess I've got nothing to lose" Nero announced
"You mean it" Aurathia asked in shock
"Yeah why not"
"Yes" she said, clenching her fist in success "alright take your shirt off and I'll give you my blessing to make this official"
"Ok" replied Nero, removing his shirt
The process was over quick and easy, the falna taking the shape of a strong woman flexing on his back
"Congradulations to host, the female training system has been fully unlocked, work hard to unlock your full potential" declared the voice as a stream of infomation about how the system worked flowed into Nero's head
"All done" commented Aurathia "now you are a part of my Familia, and as such you should provide me a place to stay for the night" she declared
"I heard everything" Nero's dad declared as he burst into the backroom "you want a place to stay, you can stay here, but you will be one of our waitresses to pay for your board and lodgings"
"Very well" agreed Aurathia "but try anything stupid and I don't need any of my godly abilities to make you regret it" she treatened
Nero's dad gulped in response showing his thoughts had been seen through "I I wouldn't do anything like that" he stammered
"Good, now come along Nero, we have to go to the guild to get regestered and then you can finally get to work in the dungeo earning us money" Aurathia declared
"Registering is fine but it's to late in the day for a newbie adventurer to be going into the dungeon so it would best be left until tomorrow" Nero noted
"Very well, we shall register then sleep, but early tomorrow morning you will go into the dungeon, the sooner you become strong the sooner my name will be known throughout the city" Aurathia agreed
"Phew, this will give me enough time to use my system to make sure that I'm ready for the dungeon" Nero thought, briming with excitement at the thought of what was to come and the fact that he finally had his own way of getting strong.
