The next day.
Land of Snow, Kazahana Castle.
Built atop a glacier that had stood for countless ages, Kazahana Castle was the symbol of supreme authority in the Land of Snow—and the stronghold of Fūka Dotō.
Uchiha Tobirama walked at the front, hands in his pockets, his expression relaxed and indifferent.
Fūka Koyuki followed closely behind him, though her face was still a little pale.
"Halt! Who goes there?!"
A Snow Ninja captain shouted from atop the city wall.
Before his words could finish, the massive gate was blasted inward by an unseen force.
Boom!
The enormous steel doors collapsed with a thunderous crash, snow and debris billowing outward. The defenders behind the gate were instantly overwhelmed by the shockwave.
"No need for an announcement."
Tobirama stepped over the ruins and walked calmly into the castle plaza.
"Tell Fūka Dotō to crawl out and meet his death."
Alarms shrieked throughout the fortress.
Snow Ninja and samurai poured in from every direction, surrounding the two figures in the square.
On the castle balcony, a bloated middle-aged man clad in specialized chakra armor stepped forward.
Fūka Dotō.
When he saw Fūka Koyuki, a cruel smile spread across his face.
"Well, well—my dear niece. Ten years have passed, and you're still this naïve."
"You actually thought bringing back a single Konoha ninja would change anything? Do you think this is a child's game?"
His gaze shifted to Tobirama, a flicker of caution flashing briefly before greed took over.
"You there. I don't know what she's paying you, but I'll double it—no, triple it."
"Take the money, leave the girl, and get out of the Land of Snow. A good deal, isn't it?"
In Dotō's eyes, ninja were nothing more than tools.
There was nothing money couldn't buy.
Tobirama looked up at the man and sighed softly.
"Annoying."
"It seems living in the cold for too long has frozen your brain."
Fūka Dotō's face twisted in rage.
"So you're choosing the hard way? Fine!"
"Everyone, attack! Tear him apart!"
With a roar, hundreds of Snow Ninja and samurai charged. Kunai, Ice Release techniques, and chakra artillery filled the air, a storm of killing intent bearing down on them.
Fūka Koyuki shut her eyes tightly and clutched Tobirama's sleeve.
Tobirama didn't move.
He simply stamped his foot.
Wood Release: Nativity of a World of Trees!
Rumble!
The frozen ground shattered. Towering trees and thick vines burst upward, spreading wildly across the plaza.
"What is this?!"
"Help—!"
The front ranks were instantly ensnared. Before anyone could react, the surging forest swallowed the entire force.
In the blink of an eye, the once-overwhelming army was gone.
Silence fell.
Only Fūka Dotō remained on the balcony.
His face was stiff, but his legs trembled uncontrollably.
With a single step… hundreds were erased?
"This… this isn't a ninja… it's a monster!"
Panic consumed him. He activated the thrusters on his armor and shot into the air.
"I can fly! You can't catch me!"
"Fly?"
Tobirama narrowed his left eye.
Amenotejikara.
Whoosh!
The world spun.
In the next instant, Fūka Dotō found himself face-to-face with Tobirama, less than half a meter away.
"You're fast," Tobirama said calmly.
He drew back his fist.
"Unfortunately, once I decide you're dead, not even the Shinigami would dare keep you."
One punch.
No techniques. No flourish.
Pure, overwhelming power.
The chakra armor shattered on impact.
Fūka Dotō's body was hurled backward, crashing down lifelessly onto the stone.
The tyrant of the Land of Snow was dead.
Fūka Koyuki stood frozen, staring at the scene.
The nightmare that had haunted her for ten years… was over just like that.
She turned toward Tobirama, who stood as calm as ever, as though he had done nothing more than brush away dust.
Gratitude, awe, relief—countless emotions surged within her.
"Lord Tobirama!"
Unable to hold herself back, she rushed forward and embraced him tightly.
The storm had ended.
The setting sun bathed the snowfields in gold.
---
Later that day, the surviving nobles and citizens gathered.
Standing upon the high platform, Fūka Koyuki revealed the truth of the past and denounced Fūka Dotō's crimes. Though not everyone understood every detail, they understood enough.
"I hereby declare—Fūka Koyuki is the new Daimyo of the Land of Snow!"
"This land will welcome a true spring!"
"Long live Queen Koyuki!"
"Long live the Queen!"
---
That night. The Daimyo's bedchamber.
Dressed once more in her ceremonial robes, Fūka Koyuki sat quietly beneath the lamplight. Though she was now Queen, her expression held a mix of nervousness and resolve.
When Tobirama entered, she instinctively rose—only to be gently stopped.
"These robes suit you," he said simply.
Her cheeks flushed. "Thank you…"
The room grew quiet. Outside, the cold wind brushed against the walls, but inside there was only warmth and steady breathing.
The rest of the night passed behind closed doors, unspoken and unseen.
When dawn finally approached, pale light creeping over the snow-covered land, the long winter of the Land of Snow had truly come to an end.
Spring had arrived.
