"View memories?"
Leaning against the Gedo Statue, a sharp glint flashed through Uchiha Madara's cloudy eyes.
Though his body had long decayed, his mind remained that of the calculating Asura of the Ninja World.
"Boy, memories are intangible things. How do you intend to show me what's inside them? Genjutsu can be faked."
"Genjutsu?"
Uchiha Tobirama chuckled softly, his eyes shifting into the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.
"Madara, you underestimate these eyes far too much."
"This power surpasses Indra and Ashura… and even approaches the level of the Sage of Six Paths."
"One of its abilities is the extraction of memories."
With that, Tobirama formed a claw-like grip and pressed his hand onto Black Zetsu's head.
"Soul Extraction."
"Aaaagh!!"
Black Zetsu let out a piercing scream, fear erupting from the depths of its existence.
"Lord Madara! Don't believe him! It's a trap!"
"He's using ocular techniques to manipulate your mind! I am your will—how can you doubt yourself?!"
"Kill him! Control the Gedo Statue and kill him!"
Black Zetsu struggled wildly, its body like soft mud trying to slip away, but Tobirama's hand was like an iron vice—unyielding.
Watching this, Madara's faint hesitation completely vanished.
If it truly had nothing to hide, why was it so afraid?
As his supposed "will," it should not be showing such ugly desperation.
"Too noisy."
Madara coldly spoke, his gaze locking onto Tobirama with renewed firmness.
"Do it. I want to see exactly what is hidden inside this lump of black filth."
"As you wish."
A brilliant blue light erupted from Tobirama's hand.
"Come… out!"
RIP!
A sound like tearing fabric echoed through the cavern.
A sphere of eerie green light was forcibly extracted from Black Zetsu's body.
Inside it lay over a thousand years of memories.
Black Zetsu instantly collapsed, becoming a lifeless puddle of black sludge.
"…It's over… everything is over… Mother…"
Tobirama casually pushed the memory sphere toward Madara, letting it hover before him.
"Place your hand on it and inject chakra."
"You'll see everything. Including… how you were played like a fool for decades."
Madara took a slow breath.
His aged hand trembled slightly as he reached out and touched the sphere.
Chakra flowed in.
Hum!
A massive flood of information surged into his mind.
Time seemed to freeze.
One second… two seconds… three seconds…
Madara's expression changed violently.
Confusion… shock… disbelief… and finally, rage.
He saw it.
Black Zetsu altering the stone tablet at the Valley of the End.
Black Zetsu guiding him step by step toward the Rinnegan.
Black Zetsu whispering lies, shaping his "grand plan."
Even Obito and Nagato—mere pieces on a board.
The so-called Eye of the Moon Plan… was nothing more than a scheme to resurrect Ōtsutsuki Kaguya.
"Raaagh!!"
A furious roar erupted from Madara's throat.
"Fake… it's all fake!"
"The Infinite Tsukuyomi… peace… everything is a lie!!"
"I… Uchiha Madara… was nothing but a puppet of a pile of black sludge?!"
PFFT!
Madara coughed up blood, his aura collapsing instantly.
The proud man who once saw the world as a chessboard… had discovered he was the biggest joke of all.
"Lord Madara…"
Black Zetsu's voice trembled with despair.
But then, its tone turned venomous.
"Heh… hehehe…"
"Uchiha Madara, don't feel wronged."
"Even Indra was fooled by me. Being used for Mother's revival is your honor!"
"And you—Uchiha Tobirama!"
"You ruined everything! You will be punished by this world eventually—"
"Are those your last words?"
Tobirama interrupted coldly.
He raised his hand.
Yin-Yang Release surged.
"No!! Mother—!!"
SIZZLE!
Black Zetsu was erased without resistance, dissolving into black smoke and vanishing completely.
Silence returned to the cavern.
Only Madara's heavy breathing remained.
He looked utterly drained, as if his soul had aged decades in an instant.
"…So that's how it is."
"My dream… my peace…"
A bitter laugh escaped him.
"In the end… I was just a fool chasing a lie."
The chains of the Gedo Statue rattled faintly as his chakra fluctuated.
Tobirama stepped forward.
"What? Already broken?"
"Is the legendary Uchiha Madara this fragile?"
Madara slowly raised his head.
"…Tobirama… I've lost."
"Not to Hashirama… but to my own ignorance."
"Kill me if you want. I have no strength left to resist."
"Kill you?"
Tobirama shook his head.
"I didn't come all this way to kill a dying man."
"There's no satisfaction in that."
Madara frowned slightly.
"Then what do you want?"
Tobirama extended a hand.
"Madara. Since your old dream has collapsed…"
"Create a new one."
"The Infinite Tsukuyomi is fake—but peace is real."
"I am building a new Ninja World. No Daimyō, no nobles. A world ruled by strength and order."
"Work with me."
"If we join hands, no one will stand in our way."
Madara let out a low laugh.
He glanced at the tubes connecting him to the Gedo Statue, then at his frail body.
"Work with you?"
"You think too highly of me."
"If I leave this place, I'll die within minutes."
Tobirama smiled faintly.
"Your body?"
"That's not a problem."
Madara narrowed his eyes.
"What do you mean?"
Tobirama closed his left eye.
His right eye—Nine Tomoe Rinnegan—rotated violently.
An overwhelming force rippled through the space.
"Right Eye Ability: Shinra Banshō."
"I command reality itself."
"I now declare…"
"Grant me the power to control life."
In an instant, the cavern was flooded with divine green-gold light.
Pure life energy descended.
It enveloped Madara completely.
"What… is this?!"
Madara's eyes widened.
Warmth surged through his decayed body.
His wrinkled skin regained elasticity.
White hair darkened and lengthened.
Withered muscles swelled with explosive strength.
CRACK!
The Gedo Statue's tubes snapped apart.
But Madara did not die.
His heart began to beat again.
THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!
Like war drums returning to life.
"This… is impossible…"
Madara stared at his restored hands.
He could feel power beyond even his prime.
A miracle.
When the light faded…
The dying old man was gone.
In his place stood a young Uchiha Madara in peak condition, red armor intact, long hair flowing, overwhelming presence erupting outward.
Tobirama nodded in satisfaction.
"Not bad."
Madara clenched his fists.
The long-lost feeling of absolute power surged through him.
He looked at Tobirama.
Shock… admiration… caution… and finally, fighting intent.
"You are a monster, Tobirama."
"But I won't submit just because you helped me."
"In this world, only strength earns respect!"
Blue chakra erupted.
A massive Susanoo began forming.
"Come!"
"Let me see if you are worthy of standing at the top!"
Tobirama smirked.
"That's more like it."
Susanoo erupted behind him as well.
"Then…"
"Dance, Madara!"
