Chapter 59 - Chapter 59: The Return of the Ninja World’s Shura!

Konoha Village, the plaza before the Hokage Building.

The air was deathly still.

Moments ago, villagers and shinobi alike had been celebrating the complete abolition of the Daimyō system. Now, they stood frozen—like ducks caught by the throat—unable to utter a single sound.

All because of the man standing beside Tobirama on the high platform.

Deep red plated armor covered his body. Long black hair flowed freely down his back. His arms were crossed, his posture arrogant to the extreme, as though the countless people below were nothing more than ants beneath his gaze.

Most terrifying of all were the purple eyes marked by concentric ripples.

The Rinnegan.

And the chakra he released without restraint—so oppressive that even ordinary jōnin felt their knees tremble, on the verge of collapsing.

Within the Uchiha Clan compound, several elderly clan members dropped their canes the instant they saw that face, eyes wide with disbelief.

"T-That is…!"

Uchiha Setsuna's entire body shook. Whether from fear or excitement, even he couldn't tell. His voice cracked as he spoke:

"Madara… Lord Madara?"

"It's our ancestor—Uchiha Madara!"

BOOM!!

That single cry detonated like a bomb among the crowd.

Everyone felt their scalp tingle.

Uchiha Madara?

The legendary Shura who once fought Senju Hashirama on equal footing and nearly shattered the Ninja World?

Wasn't he long dead?

How could he not only be alive—but look this young?!

Tobirama stepped forward and raised a hand.

The uproar instantly died down.

"Quiet."

"I'll introduce someone to you all."

He casually gestured toward the man beside him, his tone so relaxed it was as if he were introducing a neighbor.

"Uchiha Madara. My deputy."

"And Konoha's newly appointed Minister of War and External Expansion."

"From this day forward, all foreign wars, rebellions, and disobedient nations fall under his authority."

"Madara, greet them."

Madara let out a cold snort. His Rinnegan swept across the crowd, his lips curling into a look of utter contempt.

"A pack of weaklings."

"It is your honor to live under my rule."

"From now on, anyone who dares show disrespect toward Konoha—"

"I will personally erase their nation."

Tyrannical.

Arrogant.

Yet not a single person dared argue. No one even dared breathe too loudly.

Because that man was Uchiha Madara.

The true Shura of the Ninja World.

One day later, the news detonated across the entire Ninja World.

If Tobirama's abolition of the Daimyō system had been viewed as madness, then the confirmation of Uchiha Madara's resurrection—and his allegiance to Konoha—plunged the other great nations into absolute despair.

Land of Earth, deep within the mountains.

Ōnoki, already in flight while fleeing, fell straight from the sky upon hearing the report, smashing into the ground and nearly snapping his spine.

"Madara… Madara has been resurrected?!"

"That nightmare… has returned!"

Kitsuchi was drenched in cold sweat. The terror his father once felt under Madara's dominance surged back into his heart.

One Uchiha Tobirama alone was already enough to suppress the Five Great Nations.

Now add Uchiha Madara in his prime.

How was anyone supposed to resist this?

"Quick! Draft another surrender letter!"

"Make it humbler than the last one!"

"Send it to Konoha immediately!"

Land of Lightning, Hidden Cloud Village.

All radical factions that had been secretly mobilizing forces disbanded on the spot.

Attacking a Konoha guarded by two Six Paths–level monsters?

That was suicide.

Kumogakure even spent the entire night polishing the streetlights at the village entrance, terrified that if Lord Madara ever visited and found them too dim, he'd hang someone from the poles.

The Ninja World had completely lost hope.

Everyone understood one thing clearly:

From this day onward, there was only one ruler in the world.

Konoha.

Resistance no longer existed.

Submission was the only way to survive.

Konoha, Uchiha Clan Compound—Secret Archive Room.

After tossing Madara into the military department to handle the flood of surrender negotiations, Tobirama finally enjoyed a rare moment of leisure.

Instead of returning home, he came to the deepest archive of the Uchiha Clan, where their most forbidden records were kept.

Although he already knew the overall course of events, some details still needed confirmation from these ancient texts.

"At this point in time…"

His finger traced across rows of dust-covered scrolls.

With Madara's issue resolved and the Tailed Beasts under effective control, it was time to reclaim certain weapons buried by history.

Suddenly, his finger stopped.

A black scroll, wrapped in multiple layers of sealing jutsu.

Its label was faded, but still readable:

Sengoku Secret Records

Code Name: Nanashi

"Found it."

A faint smile appeared on Tobirama's lips.

He broke the seal and unrolled the scroll.

What it recorded was the life of a tragic girl.

A secret weapon of the Uchiha Clan during the Warring States Period.

She possessed a Mangekyō Sharingan ability called Yachihoko—capable of transmitting chakra to marked targets, imprinting ninjutsu, and even forcibly controlling minds.

In short, a living super weapon—both a chakra supply and a mass mind-control hub.

Because her power was too great, the Uchiha of that era treated her as nothing more than a tool.

They imprisoned her in darkness, drained her power in battle, and discarded her again and again.

In the end, when her ability spiraled out of control, she was jointly sealed away by the Uchiha and Senju in an unknown underground ruin.

"Tsk."

Tobirama shook his head.

"What a bunch of idiots."

"To waste talent like this…"

"And she still has absurd potential."

In the original timeline, Uchiha Hikari's strength was enough to contend with figures from the Boruto era.

Leaving her buried would be an unforgivable waste.

"Since I'm now the head of the Uchiha, it's only right to clean up these historical messes."

"And besides…"

"My 'elite guard' just happens to be missing a mind-control specialist."

He closed the scroll, sharp light flashing in his eyes.

The location was clearly recorded.

An underground cavern at the border between the Land of Fire and the Land of Rivers.

"System."

Tobirama called out mentally.

"Mark Uchiha Hikari's sealing location."

[Ding! Coordinates locked.]

[Distance: 300 kilometers. Target extremely weakened. Seal loosening. Chakra leakage detected. Immediate action recommended.]

"As expected."

Tobirama burned the scroll to ash.

"Madara's busy establishing authority. He won't have time to interfere."

"Time to dig up this little ancestor."

He stepped out of the archive.

At the entrance, Pakura waited respectfully.

"Master, Lord Madara sent word. Iwagakure wishes to offer the Four-Tails and Five-Tails as mounts. He asks whether you'll accept."

"Tell him to decide on his own."

Tobirama waved dismissively and pulled Pakura into his arms.

"Come with me."

"We're going treasure hunting."

"Treasure hunting?" Pakura blinked. "Where?"

"To unearth an Uchiha girl the world forgot."

Tobirama smiled faintly.

Compared to brute force like Madara, he preferred reclaiming lost talents.

Especially a powerful girl with a tragic past and a heart on the verge of darkness.

That kind of training brought real satisfaction.

Flying Thunder God!

Hum!

Golden light enveloped them.

The next instant, Konoha once again lost track of its Hokage.

Border of the Land of Rivers.

A barren canyon where nothing grew, filled only with howling wind.

Before an unremarkable stone wall, Tobirama and Pakura appeared.

"This is it."

Tobirama stared at the moss-covered boulder.

From within seeped a twisted, sorrowful chakra—cold and oppressive.

"S-So heavy…"

Pakura shivered.

"This feels like a vengeful spirit…"

"A vengeful spirit?"

Tobirama placed his hand on the stone.

His Nine-Tomoe Rinnegan manifested, piercing straight through the rock and deep underground.

In a pitch-black sealed chamber, he saw her.

A frail girl in tattered Sengoku-era clothing.

Her eyes were wrapped in layers of cursed bandages.

Black sealing rods pierced her body.

Iron chains bound her limbs to the stone wall.

Dried blood stained the ground—blood that had been there for centuries.

Cruelty beyond words.

Even through the seal, despair and terror radiated from her thin body, along with a life force barely clinging to existence.

"Nanashi."

Tobirama spoke the erased name.

"Those fossils really were revolting."

"Pakura, fall back."

"I'm about to smash this shell."

"Yes!"

Pakura retreated instantly.

Tobirama raised his blade, Six Paths power surging.

"Silver Wheel Rebirth Explosion: Cut!"

BOOM!!

A brilliant silver arc cleaved through the air.

The thousand-year seal shattered like paper.

The boulder crumbled into dust.

The seal was broken.

A rotten, stagnant stench poured from the opening.

Tobirama stepped into the darkness.

"Come on."

"Time to bring our great-grandmother home."
