The trio Now passing the gates of the slums their hoods on as they walk closely together in a triangle formation ready for anything
Walking past a few buildings Kaiser spreads his shadows out looking to see if anyone or anything is lurking there, only to find nothing, not even a rat.
Deakon, having never been to the Elven capital, is just taking in the sites of the destroyed and crumbling buildings around them, simply soaking in the experience.
Zoephelia has her nose pinched as the smell irritates her nose, her face becoming paler the deeper into the city they go.
Kaiser and the group after walking through three blocks stop
"I'm sure you've noticed by now but there's not a soul here anymore, where the hell did everyone go"
Kaiser kneels down, placing his hand to the ground and expanding his shadows as far as possible.
"There's nothing no living thing here at all I know it's the slums but I was here a few months ago what the Hell happ-"
Before he could finish an arrow silently landed between his fingers, Zoephelia and Deakon draw their weapons looking for the shooter only to see shadows cast over them.
Kaiser looks up to see a sea of arrows launching towards them.
"Well"
"Shit"
The three of them say in unison
The whistling arrows getting closer the three barged through broken doors to find cover only for magic spells to set off hidden traps surrounding them explosions engulfing them entirely,
One by one the empty buildings explode, sending debris and dust everywhere each collapsing in flames smoke filling the air
A few more explosions go off and more arrows are shot through the air, a few minutes ago by where nothing happens, only then to see elven warriors searching the area.
"Come on we must find their bodies they couldn't have survived that"
One by one they search the debris fields looking for bodies only to find nothing.
As the search yields nothing more and more warriors appear helping the search determined to have not failed.
Unknown to them the trio were safely hidden in the basement of one of the houses listening to the elves' efforts.
Kaiser calls back his shadows learning the enemy numbers and the damage done to the area.
"There's 50 elves up there, they knew we were coming"
Zoephelia and Deakon simply just look at Kaiser as he's running the thoughts in his head
"We've been lured in, The wolf was bait to ensure we were here, I don't know how they knew we were coming but our plan to secretly operate has been destroyed"
Kaiser, annoyed , smashes his fist against the floor cracking it.
Zoephelia's face palmed before Deakon shushes them.
Whispering
"They're standing above us right now what's our move"
Zoephelia raises her hand while also whispering
"We spring out I'll use light magic to temporarily blind them while the two of you use that opening to defeat as many as you can, if the fight turns in our favor we beat the rest then we need to book it"
Kaiser nods agreeing, looking at Deakon who nods in agreement too.
"Alright boys Let's do it"
Kaiser summons his sword and Deakon releases his claws, Zoephelia has her spear split into two pieces.

Kaiser and Deakon prepare to launch out

Zoephelia jumps through the debris releasing her wings then claps her hands together causing a bright flash blinding the elves around them, Kaiser and Deakon jump out and behind Zoephelia attacking the surprised elves,
Quickly the elves panic as their numbers rapidly start declining the trio of teens killing them faster than they could recover.
Kaiser throws his sword into an enemy face his shadows expand into spikes exploding their head, snapping his fingers he weighs down the clothing of some to anchor them to the ground as he slashes their necks the shadows crushing their backs and rib cages.
"If I knew it would be this easy"
Kaiser stabs another elf warrior through the skull as they lay struggling under the intense pressure oh the shadows.
Deakon surrounded by elf's just smirks as he thrusts his hands forward a shockwave pushing them back, he clasps his hands together tightly, his fist catching flame.
"I love this part"
He unclasp his hands as the flame rapidly spreads to each elf pushed earlier burning them intensely as they try to put it out.
"Don't try it won't work, you'll never escape this"
Deakon inhales drawing the flames into his mouth after absorbing the flames he roars out, the flames engulfing the area burning everything to ash the outlines of the elves burned into the ground.
Zoephelia flying through the air impaling enemies on her spear dragging their corpses through the air her lightning crackling around her and her spear, the elf's running in terror.
The three continued to kill the elves until a single fighter was left, but this man had not moved since the fighting had begun, his eyes glowing green.
The man walks forward his arms out as he approaches.
"Welcome to the Golden-
Before he could finish The trio appear behind him their weapons extended, the man silent as his body slowly falls 3 different ways to the ground.
Kaiser dismisses his sword as the others also put away their weapons, the three looking back at the carnage they caused.
Bodies burnt to ashes, decapitated bodies, elves impaled onto steel rods, blood soaking the ground, and splattered onto the buildings.
Kaiser sets his palm to the ground again expanding his shadows searching for anyone left.
After a moment he stands up dust his hands off and begins to walk
"Let's go we have to get out of here now there's more coming"
The trio begin to run through the debris looking forward to finding a new hideout for their now compromised mission.
Meanwhile an elf in an underground chamber sitting on a stool as he whistles a slow tune as he looks up as vats of a black and purple substance pulses, each vat holding something or someone.
A small elven woman running through the doors looked at the man on the stool.
"Sir it seems someone found the Wolf, we've recovered the body."
The man stands up, his long hair falling onto the ground, the dim lights showing his pulsing hair, he turns around and smiles
"Good let's continue"
