Chapter 153 - Geared Up and Ready for the Dungeon

Ren Isana and Bell Cranel returned to the apartment early and didn't head out again. Just as Ren Isana had expected, Asuna and the other girls didn't come back until the afternoon.

Upon returning, the first thing they did was knock on Ren Isana's door. When he opened it, he saw that everyone had changed clothes. They were all now dressed in modern attire.

He opened the door wider to let them in, and the small apartment was quickly packed with people. At that moment, Asuna walked up to Ren Isana and handed him something she had picked up downstairs. "When we got back just now, someone gave me this document folder. It looks like everyone's identification papers."

Hearing this, Ren Isana took the folder and opened it. Inside were several small, sealed bags, which he proceeded to take out one by one.

Each small bag contained three cards: an ID card, a bank card, and a SIM card. Ren Isana glanced at them and said, "Keep these cards safe. They are your identification and bank accounts."

Ren Isana explained the importance of these items to the group. Without an ID card, it would be impossible to take a single step in this world. If they were mistaken for illegal immigrants, it would be a huge hassle.

Everyone nodded hastily upon hearing this. They each took the items Ren Isana distributed and tucked them away safely. Hearing the commotion, Bell Cranel also ran out of his room, and Ren Isana casually handed him his share.

"Later, let's go buy a few phones for everyone so they can use these SIM cards," Ren Isana said to Asuna after handing out the IDs.

Hearing this, Asuna immediately pulled out her own phone, sent a message, and said, "I'll have someone deliver them right now. My family actually sells phones, and there happens to be a new model launching soon."

Asuna's words left Ren Isana a bit surprised. It was his first time hearing that her family sold phones. *So they're in the electronics business in this world too, huh.*

"I'll leave it to you, then," Ren Isana replied without further comment. Since Asuna could get them, it saved them a trip outside.

The group stayed in Ren Isana's room, chatting casually. About half an hour later, Asuna received a call and hurriedly ran out. When she returned, she was carrying a large bag.

Asuna then took out the phones and distributed them to everyone, including Ren Isana. Even after handing them all out, there were still some left over, which she promptly stored in her Spatial Ring.

"So this brand belongs to your family," Ren Isana noted, glancing at the label on the phone box. It was the same brand as his current phone, though it usually catered to the mid-to-low-end market. The quality was quite good.

"Yep! If you ever need a phone in the future, just let me know," Asuna said with a bright smile at Ren Isana. She then opened her own box, took out a white phone, and began setting it up.

Seeing this, Ren Isana didn't say anything more. Getting a new phone to use was definitely a win. He opened his box to find a white phone as well. After setting it up, he transferred the data from his old phone over.

Meanwhile, Asuna was teaching the others how to use their new devices, even downloading various chat applications and bank apps for them.

Ren Isana was doing the same for Bell Cranel, teaching him the ropes and transferring a substantial amount of money to his account so he would have funds on hand for convenience when going out.

Once Riveria and her group were set up, Ren Isana directly transferred their share of the money to her. "Take a look, I've sent the money over. Later on, you can ask the school for help in setting up a base for yourselves."

Riveria still had a lot of matters to handle, but she could just rely on the school's assistance for those things. Ren Isana didn't need to micromanage it at all.

Listening to Ren Isana and seeing the numbers that had already arrived in her account, Riveria nodded. That wouldn't be a problem. Besides, Natsuki Minamiya had already promised to help them out when the time came.

Everyone hung out in Ren Isana's room for a little while longer before heading back to their own apartments. After all, having so many people crammed into his place made it quite cramped.

After they left, Ren Isana glanced at the footprints left behind on the floor. He directly cast [Cleaning Magic]. A gentle breeze carrying moisture instantly swept through the entire room, finally condensing into his hand.

The entire apartment was instantly spotless. Ren Isana tossed the ball of dirty water into the toilet and flushed it.

It was a [Cleaning Magic], though one that Ren Isana had personally modified. This kind of minor spell was completely effortless for him, posing no difficulty whatsoever.

Over the next few days, Ren Isana stayed cooped up at home playing on his phone. Even that kid Bell Cranel gradually became obsessed with the technology of this world, glued to his phone every single day.

Ren Isana had good reason to suspect that if this continued, the boy would turn into an internet addict. It wasn't until Ren Isana received a message from Maya that he finally got ready to head out.

Lately, Tsubaki had been frequently visiting Maya's place. Word had it that the two sides had already signed a cooperation agreement and were rolling out various joint ventures. They had even officially started working.

Taking out his phone, Ren Isana sent a message to the group chat, telling everyone to head over to Maya's shop on their own. He then walked over and knocked on Bell Cranel's door.

"Coming!" Hearing the knock, Bell Cranel hurried over to open the door. When he saw Ren Isana, he paused in surprise.

"Let's go, we're heading out," Ren Isana said with a glance at him. Hearing this, Bell Cranel hastily put on his shoes, grabbed his keys, and stepped out.

"Ren, where are we going?" Bell Cranel asked in confusion. The others weren't around right now; Asuna and the girls had all gone out shopping, leaving only Ren Isana and Bell Cranel behind.

"To pick up the Spatial Backpacks, and then we'll buy some supplies. We're heading into the Dungeon tomorrow," Ren Isana explained as he pressed the elevator button.

Hearing this, Bell Cranel nodded. *So that's it.* He was getting a Spatial Backpack too, since Ren Isana had ordered them for the two members of the Hestia Familia back then.

With a *ding*, the elevator doors opened. Ren Isana led Bell Cranel inside, and they began their descent.

Ren Isana took Bell Cranel straight toward Maya's shop. Bell Cranel was no longer as marveling at his surroundings as he had been at first. Although he had been surfing the web non-stop these past few days, he had also been learning about this world, so he wouldn't make a fuss over every little thing anymore.

When the two arrived at Maya's place, there were already others in the shop. Sora, Kumo, and Yukari were holding milk teas, chatting with Maya.

As Ren Isana and Bell Cranel walked in, the girls noticed them immediately. Sora greeted them with a beaming smile, "Class Rep, Bell, you're here! Want some milk tea?"

Saying that, she pulled two cups out of her Spatial Backpack and placed them on Maya's counter. Watching her do this, Ren Isana was left utterly speechless. He couldn't help but retort, "Did you use your entire Spatial Backpack just to store milk tea?"

Ren Isana didn't stand on ceremony. He stepped forward, grabbed the milk teas she offered, casually handed one to Bell Cranel, and then pierced the seal with a straw to take a sip.

"Hehehe, if I have enough space, why wouldn't I pack more of my favorite drinks?" Sora didn't care in the slightest. She loved milk tea right now, so naturally, she was going to stuff as much of it in there as possible.

Ren Isana couldn't be bothered to argue with her. After taking a sip of his milk tea, he shifted his gaze to Maya. Maya was also sipping on some milk tea. Seeing Ren Isana looking her way, she smiled and pulled several Spatial Backpacks out from under the counter.

"Here's what you ordered!" Ren Isana had ordered three extra bags specifically for Bell Cranel, Haruhime Sanjouno, and Hestia. Seeing them, Ren Isana picked one up and handed it to Bell Cranel. "Bell, this one is yours. The other two are for Hestia and Haruhime."

Hearing Ren Isana's words, Bell Cranel hurriedly bowed in thanks. "Ren, thank you for spending so much on us."

He knew exactly how precious these Spatial Backpacks were, yet Ren Isana had still bought one for him. Bell Cranel was genuinely moved.

"Don't worry about it. It's Familia funds anyway, just take it," Ren Isana smiled, brushing it off. He set the remaining two Spatial Backpacks aside to give to Haruhime Sanjouno and Hestia once they arrived.

Bell Cranel silently committed this kindness to memory. He truly felt incredibly lucky right now. Even though he hadn't contributed anything, ever since he joined the Familia, everyone had been teaching him magic, gifting him equipment, and giving him all sorts of things.

"Hehe, little Bell, you'll have to work extra hard from now on. You need to study well to become even stronger, got it?" Sora looked at Bell Cranel and immediately stepped forward to encourage him.

Hearing this, Bell Cranel nodded vigorously. "I'll work hard to get stronger! I'll do my best to become someone useful to the Familia!!"

This was his next goal. Having received so many benefits, he would feel too ashamed if he didn't repay the Familia.

Seeing his determined gaze, everyone nodded in satisfaction. It was good that he had this kind of resolve. After all, the Familia would have to rely on them in the future.

Although Ren Isana hadn't explicitly mentioned it, everyone understood the unspoken truth: the Hestia Familia would likely be handed over to Bell Cranel in the future. After all, they wouldn't have the time to constantly run back and forth to that world.

As the group chatted, the others arrived one after another. Those who needed Spatial Backpacks paid Maya and received their respective bags.

For those owning a Spatial Backpack for the first time, the excitement was palpable. Now that everyone finally had their own spatial equipment, they would definitely be able to farm even more loot when they headed into the Dungeon.

Looking at everyone with their new Spatial Backpacks, Ren Isana couldn't help but suggest, "How about everyone goes to buy some supplies to pack inside? We'll head into the Dungeon starting tomorrow."

Hearing Ren Isana's proposal, naturally, no one objected. Leo looked at his Spatial Backpack and said, "We'll go buy some potions to stock up right now. Where are we meeting tomorrow?"

He had already decided to buy a large batch of potions. The flavored potions Ren Isana had invented earlier had now become widespread, and there were even more flavors available. It was the perfect time to stock up.

"We'll meet at the school. I'll let the others know when they get here. Everyone just head straight to the school gates tomorrow," Ren Isana said, finalizing the plan.

Having confirmed the time, Leo didn't say anything more. After saying goodbye to the group, he led a few of the male students away. Just as they left, Asuna and the other girls arrived.

Seeing them, Ren Isana handed the Spatial Backpacks over to Hestia and Haruhime Sanjouno. Ais Wallenstein and the others also received their respective Spatial Backpacks. Under Maya's guidance, they bound the bags to themselves as personal items.

"We're heading into the Dungeon tomorrow," Ren Isana reiterated to Asuna. Hearing this, Asuna nodded, having no objections.

Once Riveria and the others finished sorting out their Spatial Backpacks, Ren Isana bid his farewells and led them straight to Baoshutang to stock up on supplies.

On the way, Ren Isana mentioned the gathering time for tomorrow in the group chat. Since some people hadn't shown up yet, he posted an announcement, pinned it, and tagged all members. Having done that, he washed his hands of the matter.

The guys in the class were always spamming the chat anyway. Aside from Ren Isana himself, not a single one of them was a lurker, so they would naturally see the message.

Ren Isana brought Asuna and the others to Baoshutang. As soon as they walked in, they spotted Sora and her group, who were already there shopping. Ren Isana greeted them before taking Bell Cranel to pick out items.

He first bought a massive pile of low-level Red Potions and Blue Potions for Bell Cranel—enough to last him a long time. Only then did he start picking out potions for himself. At his current level, Ren Isana was already capable of using Intermediate Potions.

However, Ren Isana didn't need recovery items. His innate regeneration was already absurdly powerful, and he hadn't even finished the batch of low-level healing potions he had crafted himself. What Ren Isana needed right now were potions that could temporarily boost his stats.

Arriving at the Intermediate Potion section, Ren Isana saw a much wider variety of potions. Compared to the Basic Potion section, the sheer number of Intermediate Potions was staggering. Furthermore, they all had purchase requirements listed on them—if your strength wasn't up to par, you weren't allowed to buy them.

"Strength, speed, stamina recovery? Magic Power recovery? And magic potency?" Ren Isana muttered to himself as he read the descriptions on the potions. Deciding not to overthink it, he just bought some of everything.

*I might not need them, but it's better to have them just in case,* Ren Isana thought as he grabbed a few of every type currently on display. Having gathered his haul, he finally headed to the counter to pay.

Seeing the potions Ren Isana was purchasing, the cashier girl couldn't help but say, "Sir, please release your Magic Power or True Qi into this device. We need to verify that you meet the purchase requirements."

As she spoke, she pulled out a device from the side. It looked somewhat like a breathalyzer from Ren Isana's past life. As long as you injected enough energy into it, it could detect whether your strength had reached Tier 5.

Seeing this, Ren Isana immediately injected his energy into it. The next moment, the device began to flash, indicating that his strength met the standard. His energy intensity was high enough to activate the Magic Circle inside.

"Alright, please wait a moment." Having confirmed everything was in order, the cashier began ringing up Ren Isana's items. She was quite surprised inwardly—*He's already Tier 5 at such a young age?*—but she didn't dwell on it.

The first lesson of working here was never to pry into a customer's privacy, and she had no desire to get penalized. After quickly calculating the total, she said, "That will be 128,600 Valis."

Hearing the price, Ren Isana couldn't help but grumble inwardly. *Once I figure out the ingredients, I'm just going to make these myself.* No wonder so many people hesitated to buy these things—the prices were absolutely exorbitant. Compared to this, the cost of Basic Potions was practically nothing.

The bulk of the expense was entirely on Ren Isana's end. Still grumbling internally, he paid the bill and then looked over at Asuna and the others, who had also finished their shopping. Seeing they were ready, Ren Isana said, "Let's go. We still need to buy a few more things before heading back."

Asuna nodded; she naturally had no objections. Having agreed on the plan, the group set off, heading straight to the supermarket to stock up on groceries. As for the others, Ren Isana didn't need to worry about them.

They only needed to prepare their own supplies. Now that they all had their own Spatial Backpacks, Ren Isana didn't even need to remind them—they would undoubtedly stuff a mountain of items inside on their own.

By the time Ren Isana and the girls finished their shopping and returned home, it was already evening. The group had eaten dinner out. Upon returning to the apartment, Ren Isana made a trip to Miach's room and handed over the Spatial Backpack he had procured for him.

Miach looked at the item Ren Isana handed him with some surprise. Before the god could speak, Ren Isana preempted him, "This is a gift from one of Director Ken's students, as a token of gratitude for treating him."

Hearing this, Miach immediately understood. He smiled and said, "Then please pass on my thanks to them. I won't stand on ceremony, then."

Today, with Director Ken's help, he had already finished discussions with several people. If nothing unexpected happened, he would be staying here for a while to help them improve some things before heading to the Dimensional Nexus University.

After chatting with Miach for a bit, Ren Isana said his goodbyes and returned to his own room to wash up and rest. Everything that needed to be prepared was ready. For the foreseeable future, everyone would be tempering themselves in the Dungeon.

The night passed uneventfully. The next morning, Ren Isana and the others woke up and gathered to head to the school. This time, only Ais Wallenstein, Lefiya Viridis, and the Amazon twins tagged along. Riveria didn't join them, as she needed to busy herself with her own Familia affairs.

This worked out perfectly. A standard party consisted of four people, so the four members of the Loki Familia could form their own party. Haruhime Sanjouno and Bell Cranel could join the parties of Ren Isana's classmates, teaming up with two others.

The group headed to the school together. By the time they arrived at the school gates, their classmates were already waiting. Everyone was fully geared up and ready to go, just waiting for Ren Isana's group to arrive.

"Ciallo (∠·ω<)⌒☆, good morning, Class Rep!" Seeing Ren Isana arrive, Sora immediately greeted everyone with boundless energy!
