Chapter 190 - Chapter 189 & 190 Then Let Them Watch

Megumi Kato had just returned when she overheard the news Ren Isana was sharing. She was slightly taken aback—a super-large Gastrea? Thinking of this, Megumi Kato hurried forward.

"Is it a high-tier Gastrea?" Megumi Kato asked curiously. In this world, the only things that could likely pose a problem for Leo's side would be the highest-ranking Gastrea.

Ren Isana nodded. He took out his phone and showed Megumi Kato the photos transmitted by Asagi Aiba. "According to the data, it's Aldebaran. Although it's only a Stage 4, it possesses the regenerative capabilities of a Stage 5!"

For most, such a creature was nothing more than a giant target, but that terrifying recovery speed was another story. If it wasn't obliterated instantly, its horrific regenerative powers would allow it to recover in a flash.

More importantly, this thing possessed the ability to control other Gastrea. Leo and his team had already engaged it, but they were shocked by its recovery. Furthermore, they discovered it was summoning other Gastrea, so they had no choice but to call for reinforcements.

After listening to Ren Isana's explanation, Megumi Kato's expression instantly became solemn. If it really could summon other Gastrea, then this battle might turn into a full-scale defensive war.

Once the decision was made, the group set off, heading directly toward the location of Leo's squad. As for the base, it was left to the upperclassmen to handle.

Ren Isana took Megumi Kato and Mahiru Shiina and left the school, heading toward Leo's position at full speed. On the way, Megumi Kato asked in confusion, "Where are Asuna and the others?"

She had just realized that Asuna wasn't with them. *Did she head over first?* Megumi Kato wondered.

"She and Yukino went to pick up the cat-girl's companions. I've already sent her a message; they'll head over in a bit," Ren Isana explained as they moved. After Yukino had brought Midori Fuse back, she immediately went back out with Asuna.

Hearing Ren Isana's explanation, Megumi Kato understood why they weren't around. She didn't think much more of it, following Ren Isana and Mahiru Shiina as they quickly left the city and headed into the outskirts.

As they made their way to the battlefield, the highest-level alarm echoed throughout the city. Seitenshi had already learned of the situation from Asagi Aiba, so she unhesitatingly issued the order to enter a state of maximum combat readiness!

In Seitenshi's office, she had gathered the officials who hadn't been eliminated. Asagi Aiba was currently displaying satellite footage of the battlefield.

Seeing the massive creature on the screen, the faces of everyone present turned pale. Aldebaran had chosen this moment to show up? And it was heading straight for Monolith 32.

Was this a planned attack? Or had it been lured by someone? No one present believed it was a coincidence, especially since Monolith 32 was defective.

Because of the Tendo Familia, that Monolith was the product of shoddy construction and corner-cutting. It couldn't stop these Gastrea at all. Ais Valentia was also in the office, her eyes fixed on the screen, looking eager for a fight.

If possible, she really wanted to join in, but her current mission was to protect Seitenshi. Thinking of this, Ais felt a bit dejected. It seemed she wouldn't be able to participate in this battle.

"Miss Ais, you and Miss Lefiya should go. Tiona, Tione, and I can stay here to protect Seitenshi. All the dispatched assassins have been dealt with, so there shouldn't be any major issues for now," Asagi Aiba suddenly said while typing away at her computer.

Hearing this, Ais's eyes lit up. She looked at Tiona and Tione. "I'll leave this place to you. Lefiya and I are going to help!"

The Amazon twins nodded in response. Seitenshi's safety would be no problem in their hands. As long as she didn't wander off, protecting her was quite simple.

After leaving instructions with the two, Ais signaled for Lefiya to follow. They immediately left the office and headed toward the battlefield. The officials in the office were actually already aware of these people's identities.

Beings from another world—it was truly incredible. Though shocked, none of them dared to harbor any ulterior motives. After all, the grass was already growing over the graves of the last group of people who tried anything.

Moreover, another world represented a massive opportunity for them, didn't it? Seitenshi had clearly been favored as the spokesperson for this world. By sticking with her, even the scraps of benefits from the other side would be enough to sustain them for a lifetime.

Then there was the matter of transcendent power, which was the most important thing. Wouldn't it be better to follow that side and obtain transcendent power? Only absolute strength was real; everything else was a fleeting cloud.

As for wealth and the like, once one possessed transcendent power, couldn't they have as much as they wanted? Just look at the Tendo Familia—because they lacked real power, they were easily wiped out.

For this reason, everyone in the meeting room stood firmly with Seitenshi. The departure of Ais and the others didn't lighten the mood in the room; the appearance of Aldebaran was not good news.

However, the one thing that gave everyone a sigh of relief was that the video showed many people heading toward Aldebaran. Several people were already there, blocking the advance of the Gastrea.

Most importantly, a mere dozen or so people were actually holding them back. Leo's squad, Kai's squad, and Sayaka Kirasaka's squad had managed to forcibly stop the encroaching Gastrea horde.

Sayaka Kirasaka in particular was standing atop the Monolith, her bow constantly firing. Every shot would bring down a Gastrea attempting to invade the city from the sky.

In the video, everyone saw the Gastrea trying to swarm the city from the air being shot down. They also noticed several individuals rushing toward the scene at terrifying speeds.

Once she reached the battlefield, various spells began pouring out toward the Gastrea as if they cost nothing. The arrivals were Sora's squad, with Sora and Kumo being the first to reach the scene.

Sora was purely fast, while Kumo had already learned how to fly and could now use it proficiently. Upon arriving, she immediately joined the fray. Entering an [Instant Cast] state, she transformed into a mobile turret, bombarding the distant Gastrea.

The true power of these students was finally being displayed before the people of this world. Ren Isana and Megumi Kato soon arrived as well, with Ren Isana flying directly into the high altitude.

From above, Ren Isana surveyed the overall situation of the battlefield. Under Aldebaran's control, countless Gastrea were frantically swarming toward a single point. Ren Isana also keenly noticed something.

The Gastrea were centering themselves around Aldebaran. In other words, the monster was essentially a continuous mob-attracting machine. Seeing this, Ren Isana's eyes lit up.

After activating the mark on his hand, he spoke into the channel to ask Leo and the others, "Are you getting any Excelia from killing these Gastrea?"

Leo, who was fighting below, heard Ren Isana's inquiry and immediately replied, "Class Rep, yes! I can feel myself getting stronger!"

Their Falna was working; the Gastrea they killed were providing Excelia. Upon hearing this, Ren Isana immediately shouted to all his classmates across the channel, "Everyone, get over here now! Ignore Aldebaran for a moment; this guy is currently a mobile mob-attracting machine!"

As soon as Ren Isana's words went out, excited voices from his classmates erupted through the mark. "Holy crap! Be there in a sec!" "There's actually such a good deal?" "Heading there at full speed, I'm on the other side of the city!"

"We're coming too!!" Asuna's voice followed. She was also incredibly surprised. Such a good deal existed? Then what were they waiting for? Hurry to the scene and farm that Excelia!!

And an automatic monster lure? That was perfect. For everyone, this was pure Excelia. As long as this boss was alive, they could keep farming!!

Crucially, it could draw all the nearby Gastrea together. That meant they didn't need to hunt in the wild anymore; they just had to gather in one spot to slaughter them.

After notifying everyone, Ren Isana took action. He glanced at the Gastrea and was about to attack when Asagi Aiba's voice came through the mark.

"Class Rep, there are a lot of satellites gathering overhead. Should I hack them?" Hearing this, Ren Isana thought for a moment before saying, "Are they from other regions and countries? No need to hack them. If that's the case, let's just use this to announce our arrival."

Satellites overhead? Fine. Ren Isana didn't feel like hiding anymore. Let them witness the power from another world!

Hearing this, Asagi Aiba said no more. She even silently adjusted the satellite orbits for those guys so they could capture clearer footage.

At this moment, the others had also overheard the conversation between Ren Isana and Asagi Aiba. Their eyes lit up, and they instantly understood what to do.

Without any hesitation, everyone pulled out all the stops, beginning to display their strongest abilities. After all, people from other regions were watching—they couldn't afford to lose face.

Ren Isana glanced at Aldebaran, which was slowly moving toward them, and charged without hesitation. He couldn't let it get too close, but he couldn't kill it just yet.

If he killed it, who would lure the mobs for them? That was not allowed. Thus, Ren Isana moved. This was a delicate task—blasting the opponent away without instantly killing them.

Energy gathered around him as Ren Isana shot forward like a bullet. In the blink of an eye, he reached Aldebaran. Amidst the startled gazes of his classmates, a sudden gale erupted.

"Boom!" A massive explosion roared. Everyone felt their heads ring as if they'd been punched. Then, they saw it.

Aldebaran was sent flying. Half of its body was instantly reduced to a blood mist and scattered. It didn't even have time to roar before being blasted far into the distance.

Everyone watching through the satellites turned pale with fear. What on earth was that? Was this kind of power really something a human could possess? That massive Aldebaran had been shattered just like that?

"No... Aldebaran isn't dead. He completely avoided the vital spots!" Some quickly noticed. Although Aldebaran had been turned into blood mist in an instant, it hadn't died.

While being blown away, it began to self-heal in mid-air. Ren Isana had forcibly blasted Aldebaran back quite a distance. Once it had mostly recovered, Ren Isana moved again, charging up for another strike.

After several consecutive hits, Aldebaran had been blasted several kilometers away by Ren Isana. Feeling the distance was sufficient, Ren Isana directly used ice magic. In the next moment, its body was frozen solid, and the spot where it stood was instantly transformed into an iceberg.

Finally, only Aldebaran's head was left exposed, struggling. Having finished this, Ren Isana's voice rang in everyone's ears. "Alright, everyone, time to work. Clean up these Gastrea. We'll deal with this thing once no more monsters show up."

Looking at the frozen Aldebaran, the students grew excited. Sora couldn't help but exclaim, "As expected of the Class Rep! This way, we can farm mobs indefinitely!"

With that, she charged forward. A swarm of Gastrea was currently rushing toward them. Why wait when there was Excelia to be had?

The others were equally thrilled and began to take action, starting a massacre of the Gastrea. The low-level Gastrea had no ability to resist before the group.

With Sayaka Kirasaka sniping from high above, they didn't have to worry about the aerial Gastrea. They only needed to focus on the ones on the ground.

Against Gastrea with high-intensity recovery, they only needed to vent their Magic Power wildly. As long as they blew them to bits, the creatures couldn't recover quickly.

A massacre of Gastrea began. This scene was clearly transmitted to the eyes of all major powers via satellite. Watching such images, the expressions of countless leaders grew increasingly grim.

Especially as more and more people joined the battlefield. Besides Ren Isana's classmates, the upperclassmen had also arrived. Though they didn't have Falna, they were interested in the organs of these Gastrea.

Hundreds of people rushed out from the city, killing every Gastrea they saw. Flying in the sky, Ren Isana looked down at the scene with a slight smirk. In their own world, they were good students.

But in an ivory-tower sense? No. In an otherworldly sense, you could call them the Fourth Calamity. When it came to dealing with monsters, everyone was a professional—especially when there was money to be made. These weren't monsters; they were piles of Valis in everyone's eyes.

Asuna and Yukino Yukinoshita had arrived at Midori Fuse's hideout. they also met Midori's companions. There weren't many—only three. Including Midori, there were only four of them.

Upon returning, Midori quickly explained the situation to her friends. The children agreed without a second thought because they were much younger than Midori.

Two of them still had runny noses and looked only five or six years old. The oldest was eight. Midori usually took care of them, so knowing the situation, the children didn't think twice and decided to follow her.

In their hearts, Sister Midori wouldn't lie to them. Moreover, Midori was now wearing beautiful new clothes that made them envious, which proved that everything was true.

With the children's agreement, Asuna and Yukino Yukinoshita each picked up two. Yukino held Midori and one smaller child in her arms, while Asuna carried the other two.

"We need to speed up now. We have things to take care of in a moment," Asuna said before moving rapidly, bringing them back toward the school.

Their speed was entirely different from when they arrived. Both girls went all out, quickly returning to the portal before setting the little girls down.

Asuna looked at Midori, rubbed her head, and said, "Midori, you go through first. Once you're settled, I'll come find you. Big sister has things to do now, so I can't stay with you."

Midori Fuse nodded at Yukino's words. She said with great understanding, "Okay, Sister Yukino, please be careful."

She was also aware of what was happening on the other side. After all, she had been with them just now and had heard Ren Isana's voice, knowing the troubles they were facing.

Yukino nodded with a smile and then turned her gaze to Asuna. The two shared a nod and began rushing toward the battlefield where Ren Isana was. With buffs applied, their speed reached its limit.

They even used [Flight Magic] for a duration—the maximum distance they could currently manage. Their mastery over flight was still quite low, making long-term flight impossible.

It took the two about ten minutes to reach the battlefield. Upon arrival, they saw the massive, frozen body. Both were momentarily stunned by the sight.

However, they quickly recovered. Asuna glanced at Ren Isana in the sky, drew her weapon without a second thought, and initiated a charge, attacking the Gastrea.

There wasn't a single person in the class who didn't want to get stronger. How could they miss such an opportunity? The Gastrea before them were all fuel for their leveling.

The arrival of Asuna and Yukino meant that everyone was now present on the battlefield. At the same time, more and more Gastrea were being drawn to the location.

Aldebaran was fulfilling its role perfectly. Frozen though it was, it was frantically calling for help. Having been shattered several times by Ren Isana, it understood that a terrifying human was here. Biological instinct filled it with dread!
