Chapter 211 - Chapter 211 Pull Yourself Together, Don't Lose Points!

Ren Isana knew exactly who had emitted that killing intent. He looked up at Asuna, a flicker of amusement in his eyes. *Was she actually jealous?*

"Let go first. I'll explain everything once Yukino and the others come in. Otherwise, I'll just have to repeat myself later," Ren Isana said, gently pushing Sora away.

Sora was even more delighted to hear that. She didn't mind being pushed away; instead, she brimmed with anticipation. No matter what, she had to learn that move!

"Is that a new technique you developed? Is it a martial art like [Rankyaku・Tempest Kick]?" Shizuka Hiratsuka couldn't sit still and immediately asked.

Ren Isana nodded, not denying it. Although it was freshly developed, it was indeed a technique. Achieving the teleportation-like effect he had just shown was definitely possible.

Having confirmed this, Shizuka Hiratsuka became even more interested. However, since some people hadn't entered yet, she wasn't in a hurry to ask. The others were probably still recovering, right?

The sensation of death was never pleasant. Even though this was a virtual world, experiencing that feeling for the first time was a grueling ordeal. Ais Wallenstein was a Tier 6 expert and someone who had survived life-and-death battles, so recovering was simple for her.

But Yukino and the others were different. They were just students who had never experienced what Ais Wallenstein and her peers had. It would likely take them a few minutes to snap out of it.

Everyone waited quietly. There was no rush; they would wait for Ren Isana to teach everyone together.

While they waited, the students outside, like Yukino, were sitting up with dazed expressions. Many had vacant looks in their eyes, and Yukino was even clutching her chest.

It was still throbbing with phantom pain. Her mind was filled with the image of Ren Isana's blade plunging into her. Even though there wasn't a single physical wound, the pain was incredibly real. It was truly a terrible experience.

"Just cover the area with some Magic Power. What happened just now wasn't real. Let's head back in," Ais Wallenstein said after sitting up and regaining her composure.

Her words helped the others slowly come to their senses, including Yukino. However, Yukino's expression was currently quite unsightly. Without hesitation, she put her helmet back on, lay down, and reconnected.

Before long, her consciousness returned to the battlefield. The others arrived one after another. Seeing Ren Isana, Yukino marched forward without a word, intending to demand what he meant by that.

Recalling the words Ren Isana said while stabbing her, Yukino felt her face heat up with anger. *What if I'm small? It's not like your kids would go hungry! Besides, being petite is cute, okay!*

Just as she was about to confront him, she heard Ren Isana speak: "Is everyone back? Good. Next, I'll teach you all [Shunpo・Flash Step]. It's the high-speed movement I used during the battle."

Hearing this, the image of Ren Isana suddenly appearing in front of her and stabbing her flashed through Yukino's mind. *So that was called [Shunpo・Flash Step]?*

Yukino decided to let Ren Isana off the hook for a moment. She would listen to what he had to teach first. If they could actually learn it, the boost to their strength would be immense.

Putting everything else aside, the techniques Ren Isana mastered were exceptionally practical. Thus, Yukino decided not to pick a fight with that bastard for today.

The others also perked up their ears, ready to seriously learn the [Shunpo・Flash Step] Ren Isana mentioned. Everyone wanted to improve!

"This is actually a momentary burst of power..." Ren Isana began explaining the exertion techniques. This [Shunpo・Flash Step] had certain strength requirements; those below Tier 4 couldn't learn it at all.

Without sufficient strength, one's body wouldn't be able to withstand the impact. They would likely end up with broken bones. This technique was off-limits to anyone with inadequate physical stats.

After Ren Isana finished explaining the techniques, Shizuka Hiratsuka spoke up thoughtfully: "Focusing on a momentary burst, huh? I'm good at that!"

After a bit of mental processing, she already understood what to do. She moved away from the students and began to experiment. Her innate talent was centered on bursts, so learning this was like child's play for her.

Shizuka Hiratsuka started her attempts. As she circulated her True Qi according to the method Ren Isana taught and triggered the momentary burst, she appeared on the other side of the field as if she had teleported. However, the distance was a bit excessive.

Shizuka Hiratsuka crashed headfirst into the spectator stands. Fortunately, this was a game, so she didn't take any real damage. Otherwise, she probably would have ended up with a bruised and swollen face.

"Good grief, I need to control it. Otherwise, I'll just fly straight into a wall!" Shizuka Hiratsuka quickly adjusted and tried again. Before long, she had mastered the output of power.

Now excited, Shizuka Hiratsuka began "teleporting" around the field continuously. This sight amazed everyone, and they all began their own attempts to master the technique.

Seeing this, Yor Forger spoke up: "Alright, everyone can practice here for now. We won't be having any matches yet. Focus on learning this technique first. Once you've mastered it here, you can try it outside."

Since there was a new technique to learn, it naturally took priority. This move was fantastic and highly suitable for them to master, as it would be incredibly useful in actual combat.

Upon hearing Yor Forger's words, everyone grew excited. Without hesitation, they scattered to begin learning the technique Ren Isana had just taught.

Asuna walked directly over to Ren Isana to ask for guidance. As his boyfriend, she naturally enjoyed the privilege of private tutoring. The two of them moved to the side, whispering and exchanging pointers.

Yukino raised an eyebrow at the sight. *Those two definitely have something going on. Are they already together?*

*They couldn't be that intimate otherwise.*

After a bit of internal grumbling, Yukino stopped overthinking and went to join Megumi Kato and the others. They began organizing the techniques Ren Isana had taught and started learning from each other.

In a short time, some people had already begun their attempts. Others went directly to consult Yor Forger or Shizuka Hiratsuka. Although Yor Forger hadn't demonstrated it, she had likely mastered it instantly.

After about half an hour, everyone began to grasp the technique known as [Shunpo・Flash Step]. The first to master it was naturally Ais Wallenstein. As the strongest among the students, learning it wasn't difficult for her.

Once everyone had a handle on [Shunpo・Flash Step], they began zipping all over the virtual battlefield. Sora was even trying to merge her own talent with the newly learned [Shunpo・Flash Step].

"Class Rep, let's fight! I'm terrifyingly fast now!" Sora shouted with excitement after some tinkering.

Suddenly hearing this, a question mark practically appeared over Ren Isana's head. "Are you sure about that?"

*Is this girl really that brave? She just learned it and already wants to fight me? Is she that overconfident? Does she really think learning this is enough to beat me?*

"Hmph, I'm not afraid of you anymore! My speed is so high that it's impossible for you to one-shot me!" She didn't expect to beat Ren Isana; she just hoped he wouldn't instantly delete her.

Ren Isana found this hilarious. He immediately walked toward the center of the field. "Come, come, come. Let's have a round. Let me see where this confidence of yours is coming from."

Sora instinctively shrank back for a second, but she quickly bolstered her courage. With a flash, she charged out, leaving trails of electricity in her wake. Her speed was indeed impressive.

Others saw Sora challenging Ren Isana and grew interested. Their eyes turned toward the duo. This was going to be interesting, and Sora was being incredibly bold.

"Pull yourself together, don't lose points! Go Sora!" someone suddenly shouted. This caused Sora's expression to crumble for a moment. Just as she stabilized her footing, she started to regret her decision.

However, Ren Isana had already drawn his blade. Sora had no choice but to bite the bullet. She also drew her weapon, her eyes fixed on Ren Isana. "Class Rep, please go easy on me!!"

Despite her words, Sora had already charged in. Seeing this, the corners of Ren Isana's mouth curled up. He shifted his body slightly and pointed his Tang Dao straight ahead.

In the next instant, Sora slammed directly into it. The Tang Dao pierced straight through her. Ren Isana burst out laughing at the sight. "That's hilarious! What's the point of being fast? Did you charge in just to commit suicide?"

He had only held up his blade, but she had literally run right into it. Sora looked dazed. Feeling the pain in her chest, she couldn't help but cry out before dissipating: "I don't understand!"

*How can this be? Is the Class Rep really this devious? To suddenly put a blade in someone's path and let them run into it?*

This was Sora's final thought before she vanished. Ren Isana shook his head helplessly and walked back to Asuna's side.

Asuna couldn't stop herself from laughing. "Because she was too fast, she couldn't react in time. It seems being too fast isn't always a good thing; it requires a lot of control!"

"Of course. Sora's talent is centered on speed, and with [Shunpo・Flash Step], she is indeed fast, but that's exactly why she can't control it." Ren Isana's mouth twitched slightly at the memory.

Her speed was certainly eye-catching, but she couldn't master the handling. *What's the use of being fast if you can't brake? Going fast on a straight isn't true speed; being fast on the corners is what counts. Sora still needs a lot of practice!*

As they chatted, Sora returned a short while later. Because she had died so quickly, it didn't feel like much. Her vision had just gone black before she was forcibly logged out. Plus, with Yor Forger having taught them how to handle the pain, Sora recovered quickly and rejoined them!
