After Ren Isana got out of bed, a flicker of curiosity flashed in his eyes as he read the message Natsuki had sent him. It described a highly complex world that possessed a self-protection mechanism. If someone too powerful entered, they would be intercepted by experts wielding specialized weapons.
Furthermore, the [Magecraft] of that world was incredibly unique, and it was inhabited by various fantasy creatures, such as vampires.
The data was sparse, and Ren Isana finished reading it quickly. After a brief overview, he still couldn't quite grasp what kind of world it was — a mix of [Magecraft], vampires, and special weapons.
The composition was a bit convoluted, leaving Ren Isana momentarily speechless. However, after thinking it over for a while, he didn't bother dwelling on it. He would likely find out what kind of world it was eventually.
Ren Isana got up and began to wash. Once he was finished, Asuna jumped directly onto his balcony from upstairs and said, "Emilia's luggage is still with me. We need to head over and see her."
Hearing Asuna's words, Ren Isana paused for a moment before nodding. "Let's head over at noon then. We still have classes in the morning. You should go study some [Water Magic]. See if there are any [Water Magic] courses this morning."
Ren Isana also had Ram and Rem's luggage in his possession. He needed to make a trip to deliver it to them, or else the two of them wouldn't even have a change of clothes.
"I've already looked! I plan to learn some [Water Magic] related to [Healing Magic]. For offense, I already have [Wind Magic]," Asuna replied. [Wind Magic] was her primary magic; [Water Magic] would only be used for support.
Asuna had already thought through her progression plan the previous night. Naturally, she wasn't going to let her newly acquired water attribute go to waste; she intended to properly learn the [Water Magic] spells available to her.
"It's good that you have a plan. Let's go, time for class!" Ren Isana said nothing more. After packing his things, he and Asuna jumped down from the balcony.
Not long after they landed, Yukino and the others came down as if they had agreed on the timing. Seeing Ren Isana, Yukino walked up and asked, "The thing you sent to the group chat... can it really allow someone to obtain other attributes?"
Yesterday, Ren Isana had casually shared some information about the other world in the group chat, and the students in the class were quite interested. Yukino was one of them; if she could obtain more attributes, it would mean having one more trick up her sleeve.
"That's right. Once things are settled over there, you can go and take a look," Ren Isana said as he began walking toward the classroom. Yukino's eyes lit up at his words, and she continued to ask him for more details about the situation there.
The group chatted as they walked, soon arriving at a fork in the path. Ren Isana glanced at Yukino, Megumi Kato, and Mahiru Shiina, then said, "After classes are over at noon, I'll take you all to meet our friends from the other world!"
The three of them brightened up immediately. They were all on board. If nothing went wrong, the guests from the other world would be the ones Ren Isana had brought back. Everyone was quite curious about the other elves.
While they already had an elf among them, Emilia was different. It was said that this particular elf possessed nearly infinite [Magic Power], which was something everyone looked forward to seeing.
The group split up to attend their respective classes. Ren Isana checked his schedule, then found a random classroom to start learning magic. Once he mastered one, he would move on to another.
The magic teachers didn't say anything about Ren Isana's behavior. After all, everyone knew about this ridiculous guy in the school. They let him do as he pleased; asking even a single question felt like a blow to their own self-esteem.
Throughout the morning, Ren Isana moved between several classrooms, mastering quite a few spells. When the noon bell rang, he finally gathered with the rest of the group.
Once the team members were all present, Ren Isana led everyone out of the school. As they walked, Asuna suddenly spoke up. "I should buy them some gifts. I'll get them things like mobile phones and set them up."
Ren Isana thought this made a lot of sense and didn't refuse. They went to the nearest specialized store, where Asuna told them to bring out all their stock and took it all.
This store was naturally owned by her Familia, but she still paid the full price. After buying the items, the group continued toward the Elven Forest.
The Elven Forest was located in the northern region of Nexus Island. To get there, they had to take the subway because the distance was quite significant. Since no one planned to attend afternoon classes, they decided to make a trip of it.
Otherwise, Ren Isana could have simply used [Spatial Teleportation] to get there, but he chose not to, opting instead to ride the subway with everyone.
The subway on Nexus Island was very fast, taking only about half an hour to reach their destination. As the announcement for "Elven Forest Station" rang out, everyone disembarked.
Stepping out of the subway station, they found themselves in a small town. The surrounding area was entirely covered in dense vegetation. Aside from the town itself, there were very few people to be seen.
Since people rarely visited this area, it felt like the countryside. This subway station was likely built here primarily for the convenience of the elves.
Ren Isana even suspected that the town was established solely to meet the needs of the elves, providing them with a place to shop.
Ren Isana and the others left the station and, after surveying the surroundings, followed the address Natsuki had given him yesterday. They walked through the town without stopping, heading straight for the forest behind it.
There were many shops in the small town, and they occasionally saw elves purchasing items. To their surprise, there wasn't a single restaurant in the town.
Did elves not like eating out? Everyone was astonished after observing the town's situation. For such a large town to not have a single restaurant was something no one would believe if told.
Yet, it was exactly what was happening here. After observing for a while, they withdrew their gazes. The elves' lifestyle was quite unique; perhaps they all preferred cooking for themselves!
After passing through the town, the group entered the forest. Following a small path for a while, they began to see towering, ancient trees, each marked with a number.
There were houses built either on the trees or at their base, with some even constructed directly inside the trunks. These were the houses where the elves lived, though it seemed few elves were around at the moment.
However, judging by the signs of life, elves had lived here recently; they just didn't know where everyone had gone.
Ren Isana activated his [Perception Magic] and realized where they were. All the elves were gathered together, seemingly to welcome the arrival of Emilia and the others.
Many elves were helping out, building a new village. Ren Isana also spotted Emilia, Ram, Rem, and the others among them, all wearing happy smiles.
They were clearly very satisfied with the environment here. Seeing them like this, Ren Isana felt completely relieved and quickened his pace toward them.
As Ren Isana approached, Puck, who was lying on the grass sunbathing, immediately noticed the group's arrival. Puck jumped up and waved to everyone.
"Ren Isana, you're here!" Puck's face was full of excitement. Beside Ren Isana, Yukino's eyes went wide the moment she saw such a large cat, and she couldn't help but swallow hard.
"What a huge kitty!!" Yukino's eyes were practically glowing. As a total cat lover, she couldn't resist a cat like this. She couldn't even imagine how comfortable it would be to lie on its stomach at that size!
At the thought of this, Yukino lost her composure and became extremely excited. She desperately wanted to hug this giant cat!
Puck's voice alerted Emilia and the others. They all looked over, and seeing Ren Isana, Emilia hurried to meet them.
"Ren Isana, Asuna, you're here!" Emilia's face was filled with pleasant surprise. She ran up to greet them while casting curious glances at Yukino, Megumi Kato, and Mahiru Shiina.
"Emilia, how do you like it here? Are you settling in?" Ren Isana greeted her with a smile.
Emilia nodded and said with a blooming smile, "It's wonderful. Everyone loves it here, and the elves here are very easy to get along with."
There wasn't a hint of discrimination here. When she and her people first arrived, the local elves only showed surprise and joy, with no signs of fear or disdain.
That was why everyone had come over today to help them set up the elven village; basically every elf living in the Elven Forest had shown up.
"That's good to hear. By the way, let me introduce you. These are my teammates: Yukino Yukinoshita, Megumi Kato, and Mahiru Shiina," Ren Isana said, introducing Yukino and the others to Emilia.
Hearing Ren Isana's introduction, Emilia smiled and greeted them, "Hello everyone, I'm Emilia. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Since they were Ren Isana's teammates, they were friends. She had heard Asuna mention them before — that Ren Isana's team had five people. These three must be the ones Asuna had talked about.
"Hello!" the three responded in unison, greeting Emilia. Yukino finally pulled her gaze away from the giant cat... or rather, the cat had flown over, shrunk in size, and landed on Emilia's shoulder.
Puck had naturally sensed Yukino's gaze. It seemed this human really liked him? *As expected of me, I'm popular no matter which world I'm in.*
"Big Brother!" Just as everyone was finishing their introductions, Beatrice suddenly emerged from Ren Isana's body and reached out to pull Puck into her arms, a brilliant smile on her face.
This scene momentarily stunned Yukino and the others. This little girl came out of Ren Isana's body? Ren Isana had brought her back from the other world? He hadn't mentioned this little one!
Yukino looked at Beatrice holding Puck with a flash of envy in her eyes. She also wanted to hug the cat like that; it would be even better if it turned big for her to hug.
"Here, this is your luggage. We also brought some gifts for you," Ren Isana said as he pulled out Ram and Rem's luggage, along with a pile of electronic products Asuna had purchased.
Emilia and the others were surprised to see the items. Gifts for them? What were these things?
Seeing this, Megumi Kato and the others realized it was their turn to contribute. They stepped forward and began explaining to them how to use the mobile phones.
They also taught Emilia and the others how to use chat software. It didn't matter if they couldn't type yet; they could use voice input. With Emilia's abilities, learning the script of this world wouldn't be difficult.
Under their guidance, the group quickly mastered the basics of using the phones and added Ren Isana and the others as friends. With this, they could stay in touch at any time.
Furthermore, they could search for information online. In an era of information explosion, many things could be learned directly from the internet.
After understanding the utility of the phones, Emilia and the others couldn't put them down and quickly called over the other elves to teach them as well.
For the rest of the time, Ren Isana and the others stayed in the Elven Forest. In the afternoon, Natsuki even showed up carrying a stack of documents — the ID cards for Emilia and her people.
However, when Natsuki saw Ren Isana and the others there, she put on a stern face and said, "You lot, are you skipping class this afternoon?"
As a teacher, Natsuki immediately entered her strict instructor mode, prepared to give these students a proper lecturing.
"We're here to deliver Emilia and the others' luggage. Mind your own business, Natsuki — it's not like this is your class anyway!" Ren Isana rolled his eyes, cutting off her lecture before it could begin.
This nearly made Natsuki explode with rage. What did he mean by it not being her class? So in his eyes, as long as it wasn't her class, he could just skip it whenever he wanted?
Taking a deep breath, Natsuki glared fiercely at the delinquent student Ren Isana. Choosing not to settle the score with him for the moment, she began distributing the ID cards to Emilia and her people.
In addition to the ID cards, there were also bank cards and other essentials. After handing these items to the three of them, Natsuki spoke up, "These are your credentials for this world. In the future, you can use these to use all public facilities on the island for free."
Furthermore, money had already been deposited into the bank cards, enough for Emilia and the others' daily expenses. If they wanted more, they would have to rely on themselves; whether they chose to work or do something else in the future was up to them.
Of course, if Emilia enrolled in the university and achieved excellent results, there would be scholarships available, so she didn't have to worry too much about running out of money.
Listening to Natsuki, Emilia nodded. She looked at the identification in her hand with a strange glint in her eyes. Her very own ID card; with this, she could go wherever she wanted in this world.
After explaining several things to Emilia, Natsuki began distributing the rest of the ID cards to the other elves. Once she was finished, she finally took her leave.
Before departing, she gave Ren Isana and the other truants a sharp glare, deciding she would definitely call them out later. They clearly didn't show her enough respect.
Ren Isana and the others didn't really care. they stayed in the Elven Forest until the sun began to set, then bid farewell to Emilia and the others, promising to stay in touch via their phones.
They didn't take the train back this time; instead, they returned using Ren Isana's [Spatial Magic]. Back at school, they ate at the cafeteria before returning to their dorms.
Ren Isana returned to his room and grabbed his change of clothes. When he sensed that Asuna was also preparing to wash up upstairs, the corners of his mouth curled into a slight smile. The next moment, his figure vanished from his room.
Shortly after, a [Silence Magic] spell silently rose within Asuna's dormitory. Don't think for a second that just because they were back, Ren Isana couldn't do as he pleased. He had a hundred ways to avoid being caught — a hundred!!
Over the next period of time, Ren Isana and the others stayed at the school. They occasionally contacted Emilia or went to visit Enju Aihara and her friends as time slowly ticked by.
Ren Isana's classmates also began to practice like crazy. Everyone knew that if their strength wasn't sufficient, they wouldn't be allowed to participate in the next world mission.
With this sense of crisis, the entire class worked hard to improve their strength. Meanwhile, Ren Isana occasionally received information from Natsuki regarding the other world.
One day, after returning to his dorm after school, Ren Isana received another message from Natsuki. When he saw the contents, he was stunned. [Holy Grail War], magic referred to as [Magecraft], [Heroic Spirit], [Noble Phantasm]?
"Holy crap!!" Looking at this information, how could Ren Isana not realize which world it was? The reason people from their world were being blocked was probably due to Gaia and Alaya.
What Ren Isana was curious about was the specific timeline. Which [Holy Grail War] was it? According to the end of the message, the specific details being negotiated between the two sides were still unknown.
Ren Isana had a good idea of what to expect after processing the information. He really hadn't expected it to be this world. He had wondered what it was, but this... things were going to be awkward.
After all, when Ren Isana had forged weapons, he had named a series of them after those [Noble Phantasm] names. When everyone went to that world, wouldn't it be a case of the counterfeit meeting the original?
However... it didn't seem to be that big of a problem. If they were fakes, so be it; they were just similar anyway. As for what to say if someone asked? Don't ask — if you do, it's just a coincidence!!
Ren Isana, feeling much more at ease, made up his mind. He needed to speed up his own progress. He was currently only 5% away from breaking through to Tier 6. This was only because he hadn't gone out to hunt monsters; if he went out to kill some, he could break through at any time!
