Chapter 309: The Notary's Ledger (Part 2)
Draven processed the tragic confession.
Voss had no idea he was moving money for the Cult of the Eternal Eclipse. He genuinely believed he was helping the Hawks fund a secret Vanguard initiative. Vast and Renner had deliberately weaponized the man's mundane, bureaucratic loyalty to the state.

"You were trapped," Draven said quietly.
"I just wanted to do my job," Voss cried. "I like my stamps. I like the ledgers. I never wanted to be a patriot."
Draven leaned forward slightly. The tone of the conversation needed to shift rapidly from confession to intelligence gathering.
"You said ghost guilds," Draven noted carefully, catching the plural slip. "Iron-Oak was not the only one."
