Chapter 21 - A Small Sofa and a Large Bed

Killian, wine bottle in hand, looks at us with pure hunger. He found us like this, in a position impossible to justify: Evangelina and I with our breasts exposed, inches from each other.

My first reaction is to tell Killian to keep his voice down, pointing toward the sleeping Annia. Evangelina, like a goddess forever out of reach for a mortal man, lets out a seductive laugh. She covers herself sensually behind me, wrapping her arms around me as she speaks to him:

"No threesomes with you, Killian. Carmilla is mine, and I'm keeping her all to myself. If you don't take her now, I'm never letting go."

He smirked, picked up my T-shirt from the sofa, and asked me to lift my arms so he could dress me. Then he took my hand, avoiding looking at the naked Evangelina, and replied:

"Carmilla is coming with me. We need to sleep before we leave."

But I pushed back, stopping dead in my tracks.

"No way am I being seen with you in the hallways after that scene with the blonde clone. Look at this sofa—it's huge. One glass of wine and we can just lie here, curled up together, until it's time to go."

Evangelina turned her back, slipped into her blouse, and whispered:

"You two are so cute I might just stay up and watch you from the bed."

Happy for me as if she'd known me her whole life, she gave me a kiss on the cheek while pinching my ass. Then she climbed into bed next to Annia, pulling her close.

Killian sighed.

"Okay, have it your way, baby. But we need at least a few hours of rest, and I don't know if I can handle having your little body so close to mine on that sofa."

We tried it. Without Killian, the sofa felt endless, but with his beastly muscles and height, it now looked like a miniature. He just couldn't get comfortable, so I took the chance to climb on top of him. I sipped a glass of wine while Killian kept one hand on my backside, and I couldn't help moving subtly but constantly until I noticed his pants were about to burst. I tried to stay still… or at least I attempted to, because the sensation felt too good.

To make matters worse, Evangelina signaled to me from the bed; she gestured for me to take my shirt off. I shook my head no while Killian kept his eyes closed, though every now and then he squeezed me, signaling me not to stop moving.

"No, no… I know he needs to rest, I can't keep doing this," I told myself. Evangelina, amused by the whole thing, whispered something I couldn't make out. She got up noiselessly so Killian wouldn't hear her and breathed into my ear:

"Take your clothes off! You look beautiful from the bed, and don't you dare stop moving on him like that!"

I shook my head again and playfully pushed her away with my hand, laughing under my breath.

She scurried back to the bed just a few steps away, sitting up to watch me. I stopped completely, resting my head against my beautiful Killian's chest. He didn't open his eyes; he was enjoying the game. He gave my ass a soft squeeze—a signal for me to continue.

I set the glass aside and moved slowly, as if he were a stallion carrying me through a valley of flowers. I breathed in his masculine scent, seeing the glint in his beard and his long hair—like a powerful blond Samson. The veins in his arms were so prominent I could almost see the blood flowing with every heartbeat, marking the rhythm I followed as I moved.

It was pure pleasure. I was completely lost, dominated by desire, and when I looked up, I saw Evangelina. She knew. She had realized I'd fallen into the vortex, my mind a prisoner to my man's sensuality, in love with his game. So she tried again… gesturing for me to take off my top.

I shook my head no once more, but she noticed my resolve was wavering. Without breaking eye contact, she pulled off her blouse and pressed her breasts together, putting a finger in her mouth just for me.

Who created this goddess and this god? How could anyone make them so irresistible?

She kept staring, her mouth opening wider, reaching out her hand to tell me to show her too. And I obeyed. I lifted my shirt from the bottom, holding it in my mouth so she could see my breasts… I didn't want to stop moving; I went faster, harder, feeling Killian's power beneath my legs.

She—the very embodiment of every sin of lust—put her feet on the floor, waiting to come to me. I said no again. Evangelina stayed crouched, waiting for me to fall, like a puma waiting for its wounded prey to surrender…

I looked at her and arched my back slightly. She made her move, lunging toward me. I was completely lost, but just in time, I felt Killian's hand on my face. She recoiled to avoid being caught, and my man's deep, masculine voice said:

"Stop, or I'm going to strip you naked and make love to you right here. You're playing with fire, baby. Stop."

I hugged him, leaning into his chest, and I stopped. I told him we really should try to sleep. He said the sofa wasn't big enough for someone his size.

That's when we heard Evangelina's voice from the bed. She was tucked under the sheets now.

"Come here, both of you. This mattress is big enough. Carmilla fits perfectly right here between Annia and me, and the other half is all Killian's."

He sat up, lifting me delicately in his arms as if I were a feather. Seriously, bestie, I swear he's so strong he lifted me in one motion without any effort or momentum. He held me gently, standing up with me in his arms before setting me down again. He looked at the bed and said:

"Good idea. I really do need to sleep. We have a long flight."

Hand in hand, we went to the bed. With his usual naturalness—like a friend staying over at a classmate's house—he took off only his shirt, lay down on the edge, and patted the mattress for me to come closer.

For me, it was different. First, because I was still wired; second, because this Alpha's physique was tense even at rest—even with his eyes closed, he looked like a sensual gladiator; and third, because Evangelina wouldn't let me go with her eyes, biting her lower lip like a warning.

I lay down between the two of them, staring at the ceiling. Killian had his back to me, trying to rest, but he kept one hand on my thigh. She was on her side, staring at me, pulling down the sheets to show me.

They were both so long, so tall next to me that I felt desired by a different species. I lay on my back, motionless, trying to think about anything other than being mounted on Killian.

Evangelina's hand slid under my clothes and settled over one of my breasts. I let her. I closed my eyes and, exhausted, managed to get some sleep.

Killian's watch woke him at 2:30 a.m. He got dressed, gave me a kiss on the mouth, and said:

"I'm going to get everything ready. You girls rest a bit longer. I'll text you when we're ready to head out."

I watched him leave the room.

What did he see in me, bestie? What do I have that draws him in? If you tell me, maybe I can understand a little better.

I looked at the girls. Evangelina was sleeping like a forest elf, her breasts perfect, as if they could nurture all life on Earth. Annia's muscular arms were wrapped around her, her nose pressed against her lover's skin.

Annia sensed I was watching. She woke with a start but immediately smiled at me.

"Carmilla, my God, one of your eyes shines brighter than the other in this light. You scared me. Come here, let me see those incredible colors of yours."

I leaned my face toward hers, and she added:

"Your gaze is a work of art. It's like I'm looking at two galaxies in parallel universes: the green is hope, and the dark blue is desolation. I'm going to write you a poem when I get home, just so you never forget—you've got something, girl. You've really got something."

Her words moved me. I was about to kiss her on the cheek when Evangelina rolled onto her back in her sleep, inadvertently placing her breasts between us. We laughed. Annia looked at her with love and whispered:

"Let's both hug her. Let her wake up feeling how much we love her. She hasn't had much of that in her life."

Killian's message arrived around 4:00. It said that once we were ready, a guard would lead us to the helipad. To bring only the basics—we'd go shopping as soon as we arrived.

Evangelina woke up with a smile when she saw us around her. Once we were ready, we met at the mansion's main entrance. We got into the vehicle, and as we approached the massive helicopter Killian was piloting, I noticed Annia was looking at me with a sort of pity. I asked her:

"What is it? Tell me, come on."

She looked at me, dead serious.

"Inside those walls, it's a different world. Mr. Longfield keeps you all pretty well isolated from reality. But when we land at my father's house, you'll see the Vandereck empire for what it really is. It's a business run by very cruel people, Carmilla. My father is one of them; Killian and Lucius's father is even worse. They'll tell you the opposite, but they won't tell you the truth. And I'm worried about you. Now that I know you, I'm really worried…"

True to my own stupidity when I get nervous, I tried to make a joke.

"So, what? Am I supposed to wear a bulletproof vest or something?"

Annia looked at me tenderly.

"No, Carmilla. That won't stop them if they see you as a threat to their business. All it takes is a hand gesture, and no matter how much you scream or resist, if you're lucky, you'll end up in a psych ward with twenty diagnoses claiming you're a dangerous lunatic. You'll never get out. Sometimes, it's even worse than that."

Evangelina hugged me and scolded her:

"Stop it, you're scaring her."

But Annia took my hand.

"Please, Carmilla, listen to me: never say again that Killian and I shouldn't get married. Never oppose the empires' plans. That alone could be enough for you to go missing from your room one day, and we'd never be able to find you."

My soul didn't return to my body until the powerful helicopter, piloted by the youngest Longfield, lifted off over the mansion, heading for the airport.

Right then, I decided I'd follow Annia's advice: I'd follow the rules in public. But I promised myself I'd put a counterweight on the other side of the scale to keep the fear from winning. And I swore that as soon as we reached Switzerland, far from prying eyes, I would lose my virginity to Killian in the most passionate way possible.
