Listening to the conversation between the two mercenaries, Xiao Tian turned and headed straight for the Thousand Medicine House stronghold.
Looking at the heavily guarded manor — filled with both Thousand Medicine House personnel and members of the Wolf Head Mercenary Group — Xiao Tian raised his eyebrows slightly.
He chose a relatively less guarded spot, activated the World Piercing Needle, and instantly crossed twenty meters in a single step.
Once inside the manor, he carefully sensed his surroundings, then used several quick flashes to arrive near a secluded room.
He quietly opened the window, slipped inside, and was immediately greeted by the rich scent of medicine. Through the pink curtain in the distance, he could see a blurry figure. Xiao Tian lifted the curtain and flashed onto a chair inside the room without making a single sound.
He sat quietly, watching the Little Fairy Doctor as she focused on preparing medicinal powder at a small table.
The Little Fairy Doctor, who was in the middle of her work, suddenly felt a gaze on her back. She grabbed a bag of medicinal powder and sharply turned her head. The chill in her eyes instantly vanished when she saw Xiao Tian sitting casually on the chair.
She put down the powder, gracefully walked over, took out a jade bottle, poured a drop of red liquid onto her finger, and gently wiped it on the back of Xiao Tian's hand.
"Are you plotting against me the moment we meet? Taking advantage already?" Xiao Tian said with a playful smile.
Hearing his words, the Little Fairy Doctor's pretty face flushed slightly. She playfully slapped his hand. "Don't talk nonsense. My room is full of medicinal powder. That was the antidote."
"Your room is filled with medicinal powder… It seems you haven't been doing well recently."
"The Wolf Head Mercenary Group has spread the news everywhere. They've reached some kind of agreement with Thousand Medicine House. I don't know how they negotiated, but lately they seem to have lost patience and are about to make a move on me."
"Then why haven't you left? With your research on the Seven-Colored Poison Scripture, these people can't stop you, right? You must have plenty of poisons on you." Xiao Tian's gaze swept over her.
"I was waiting for you to come and save me," the Little Fairy Doctor said with a gentle smile.
"I think you're planning to use them for practice."
"Hehe, you found out! I was actually planning to leave today," she replied, returning to the table and collecting the medicinal powder into a jade bottle.
"Let's go. I'll take you to get your revenge," Xiao Tian said, watching her finish packing.
"Alright. Are you going to forcefully take me away?" the Little Fairy Doctor asked, feigning an expression of admiration.
"Stop messing around. Have you packed everything? It's time to go," Xiao Tian said helplessly.
Bang!
"Leave? None of you are leaving today!"
Just as the two were talking, the door was violently pushed open. A middle-aged man's voice rang out.
Two middle-aged men walked in, followed by eight more people.
"The one on the left is Master Yao of Thousand Medicine House, and the one on the right is Mu She, leader of the Wolf Head Mercenary Group. Both are Dou Masters. Behind them are the second leader Gan Mu and third leader He Meng — nine-star and eight-star Dou Practitioners respectively. Can you handle them? Do you want me to trigger the toxins?" the Little Fairy Doctor asked, moving closer to Xiao Tian.
"No need." Xiao Tian waved his hand, signaling her to step back a little.
"Boy, did you kill my son?"
"That useless son of yours did indeed die by my hand. Do you want to reunite with him?"
"Then pay with your life for my son! Swift Wind Stab!" Mu She roared. He raised the long spear in his hand, the tip instantly enveloped by a faint green whirlwind as he thrust it toward Xiao Tian.
A colorless flame appeared in Xiao Tian's hand. He grabbed the incoming spear, and the spearhead was instantly melted into molten iron by the terrifying heat. Mu She quickly abandoned the weapon.
"What a strange flame…" Mu She muttered, his heart pounding.
Xiao Tian flicked the molten iron toward the group. The scorching droplets automatically split into ten parts, flying toward all ten men.
Mu She, Master Yao, and the others activated their Dou Qi to resist, but their defenses were as thin as paper. The molten iron pierced straight through their foreheads. All ten collapsed lifelessly to the ground, then were consumed by flames, turning into piles of ash in seconds.
Watching Xiao Tian eliminate everyone — including the two strongest people in the town — in less than a minute, the Little Fairy Doctor couldn't help but cover her small mouth, utterly shocked.
"What realm are you in now?" she asked, walking up to him and looking him up and down with curiosity.
"Just Great Dou Master, that's all," Xiao Tian replied with a light laugh.
"Great Dou Master? You look two years younger than me, and you're already a Great Dou Master? I'm only a one-star Dou Practitioner!" the Little Fairy Doctor said, her eyes filled with envy.
Xiao Tian glanced at her but didn't say much. "Let's go. With Mu She and Master Yao dead, these two forces will disband on their own."
They arrived at an open area. The Little Fairy Doctor took out a bamboo whistle and blew it gently. A giant blue eagle flew over from the distance and landed in front of them.
She stroked the eagle's feathers. "This is my partner, Xiao Lan. She's a Tier 1 magical beast. I'll take you somewhere."
Xiao Tian wrapped his arm around the Little Fairy Doctor's slender waist, leaped lightly, and landed on the eagle's back.
Xiao Lan slowly circled upward, then spread her wings and soared away rapidly.
"Aren't you going to let go yet?" the Little Fairy Doctor asked, turning her head to look at the hand still resting on her waist.
"I'm afraid of heights. I don't feel safe without holding you. I'm scared I'll fall," Xiao Tian said, feigning fear.
"Do you think I'll believe that?" the Little Fairy Doctor said, speechless.
"I think you will."
Seeing his thick-skinned demeanor, she stopped arguing. She also didn't remove his hand from her waist.
Xiao Lan carried the two of them all the way to a basin, then flew directly into its depths, descending from high altitude into a secluded small valley.
"Let's stay here for a while. There are many medicinal herbs here. You can pick some if you need them, but don't take everything. I also need to prepare some medicinal powders," the Little Fairy Doctor said, looking at Xiao Tian with a slightly hesitant tone.
"Mmm, no problem. The energy here is abundant, and it's very quiet. I can cultivate here," Xiao Tian scanned the small valley and readily agreed.
Seeing him agree without hesitation, the Little Fairy Doctor immediately beamed with joy.
She led him to a simple straw hut. "We'll be staying here for a while. I built this hut before. You don't mind, do you?"
"I don't mind at all. Living with a beauty like you, I'd even be willing to stay in a mountain cave," Xiao Tian teased.
"Hmph, don't think you can do whatever you want just because you're strong. Although my poisons might not affect you much, they'll still make you uncomfortable," the Little Fairy Doctor said, waving her little fist threateningly.
"Haha, I wouldn't go that far." Xiao Tian laughed happily, looking at her cute appearance.
