Chapter 51 - Chapter 51: The Breach of the Sanctum

[SYSTEM NOTIFICATION]

[LOCATION: THE VOID-BRIDGE TO THE 12TH HEAVEN]

[STATUS: ASCENSION IN PROGRESS]

[DIVINITY: 7.6% (THE UNSTOPPABLE USURPER)]

The path to the 12th Heaven was now a straight shot; it was like a huge tear in space. The Ashen Legion swarmed up like smoke from a fire while the Un-Made monsters climbed the universe walls their claws ripping through the rules that kept the heavens apart.

"Alaric the pressure is changing!" Elara shouted. Her Ledger of Lost Souls was taking in all the data of the breach. "The 12th Heaven is trying to squash us! Its making the gravity of Truth stronger to crush our Lies!"

I felt it. It was like the Weight of Eternity from the basement but sharper. It felt like the universe was telling me I didn't belong.

"My existence isn't a lie " I growled. The Abyssal Reaper spun in my hand slicing through the gravity waves like they were paper. "It's the truth that matters."

As we crossed the threshold the First Wall of the Sanctum showed up. It wasn't made of stone or light; it was a wall of data. A billion floating symbols representing every rule the Creator had ever written.

Rule 1: All life must end.

Rule 2: All power has a limit.

Rule 3: The Creator is the Source.

"Isabella! Elara! Lilith! These rules are our cage!" I roared. My Infinite Stamina flared until my Sovereigns Shroud turned a blinding crimson. "We're not going to break them. We're going to rewrite them!"

I grabbed Isabella. Pulled her into the center of the surging mana. To breach the wall of data I needed to make a Paradox so the rules would crash.

"Isabella " I whispered. My red eyes locked onto hers. "In the world a Gods energy was limited.. With you and this Seed... We are a never-ending Paradox."

I didn't wait for the climb to end. I started the Breach Ritual there suspended in the void between the 11th and 12th Heavens. With Infinite Stamina our connection speed bypassed the Creators Logic.

I slammed into her and with every thrust I shouted a rule:

"RULE 1: MY WILL IS FOREVER!"

[CRACK—The first layer of the wall shattered.]

"RULE 2: MY POWER HAS NO LIMIT!"

[SHATTER—The second layer disintegrated.]

"RULE 3: I AM OWN SOURCE!"

The data wall exploded into pieces. The Weight vanished, replaced by the silent void of the Creators Sanctum.

[Status: First Wall of the Heaven Breached.]

The Creators Sanctum void was unlike any layer. It wasn't a world of elements. A world of Reflections. As the data wall dissolved we stepped into a hall with a liquid mirror floor and frozen light pillars.

"Alaric wait..." Isabella gasped. Her hand slipped from mine. She was looking into one of the mirrored pillars.

Inside the reflection she wasn't the Primal Anchor she had become. She was the lonely Princess of the 1st Heaven shivering and broken. Beside her Elara saw a version of herself still trapped in the library silence. Lilith saw herself chained in the void abandoned by the All-Father.

"Its showing us our failures " Lilith hissed. Her wings bristled. "Its trying to remind us that we are Mistakes in the Creators ledger."

The mirrors didn't just show images. They stepped out.

Three figures emerged from the pillars. They looked like Isabella, Elara and Lilith but they wore pure blinding white. They were the Perfect Versions. The versions the Creator would have made if I hadn't changed them.

"The Usurper is tired " the Mirror-Isabella said. Her voice was a celestial bell. "Come to us. We offer the peace of nothingness. We offer the end of hunger."

The Mirror-Trinity moved toward me. Their bodies glowed with a beauty. They weren't illusions; they were high-density mana constructs designed to drain my Infinite Stamina by offering a perfect satisfaction that would never end.

"You think I want Perfect?" I growled. The Abyssal Reaper flared with a heat. "I want Real. I want the sweat, blood and filth that makes us alive!"

I didn't attack the mirrors with my blade. I turned back to my Isabella, Elara and Lilith. They were trembling, caught in the trap of their pasts.

"Look at them " I commanded. I grabbed Isabellas chin. Forced her to look at her white-clad double. "She is a statue. She is a lie. She has never felt the fire I gave you. She has never survived the Basement."

I pulled the three of them into me. My 7.7% Divinity acted as a beacon of reality.

"The Creator thinks he can replace you with versions? He doesn't understand " I hissed. My Infinite Stamina surged as I pulled them into an embrace. "There is no Better than the ones who fell into hell and climbed out with me."

To break the Hall of Mirrors I didn't need to kill the clones. I had to Obscure them. I started a ritual of high-intensity Primal Mana. The Reflections couldn't keep up. With Infinite Stamina I unleashed a torrent of energy and raw mana that turned the liquid mirror floor into a boiling sea of violet steam.

The Perfect clones began to crack. Their white dresses stained with the red of my Seed. Their sterile faces twisted in confusion as they realized they couldn't reflect a power that was Infinite.

"You can't mirror a sun!" I roared.

[Status: Mirror-Trinity destabilizing.]

[Condition: The Hall is cracking under the Weight of Reality.]

"You are data!" I roared. My Abyssal Reaper sliced through the neck of the Mirror-Isabella.

She didn't bleed; she dissolved into a fountain of mana. I didn't let that energy dissipate. I opened the Infinite Bedchambers portal there in the hall. I used it as a vacuum for the Creators stolen Perfection.

The mirrors turned into shards of glass that rained down. My real Isabella, Elara and Lilith stood amidst the wreckage. Their skin glistened with the red sweat of the ritual. They looked at the dissolved remains of their selves with a cold disdain.

"I'm not a princess anymore " Isabella whispered. Her eyes glowed with a light. "I'm a Queen of the Abyss."

"And the Librarian no longer just reads " Elara added. Her Ledger absorbed the remains of the Mirror-Elaras knowledge. "I rewrite the ending."

I stepped over the pile of glass. My Obsidian Plate clanked with every step. At the end of the Hall of Mirrors the final barrier stood: The Curtain of Fate.

It was a veil of shimmering gold threads. Each thread represented a life, a choice and a destiny. Beyond it I could see the silhouette of the Throne of Unwritten Light. The Creator was there. His pen hovered over the page of my story.

"Lilith " I said. I didn't look back. "The Curtain... It can only be cut by something that has no destiny."

"That would be you Alaric " the Original Sin replied. Her hand rested on my shoulder. "You are the Error he never expected. You are the one who broke the cycle."

I raised the Abyssal Reaper. The blade was no longer metal; it was a physical manifestation of my Infinite Stamina. A never-ending hunger that the threads of fate couldn't bind.

"He tried to write my end, in the Heaven " I growled. My red eyes fixed on the Creators silhouette. "Now I'm going to take his pen and shove it down his throat."

I didn't just slash the curtain. I gripped the threads with my bare hands. The Sovereigns Shroud protected me from the burn. I tore the veil open.

The room beyond was quiet. The Creator sat on his chair staring down at his desk. He didn't look up as we walked in. He just kept on writing.

"You're early again Alaric " he said. His voice sounded like a door shutting. ". It doesn't matter. The ink, on my pen is already dry."
