Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: Primordial Shadows and Naming Banquet

Beta Floor 101 still buzzed like a malfunctioning arcade machine on infinite respawn. The new recruits—Duchess Vespera, Gorgon the Unyielding, and Lucian—had already been shown to temporary quarters, where Shion was force-feeding them "welcome onigiri" while Oni-giri floated around offering unsolicited life advice. Rimuru hovered in the central plaza, watching the Rail-X miniatures race overhead, when Diablo reappeared from a side corridor with the same impeccable butler stride he'd left with.

"My lord," Diablo said, bowing exactly thirty degrees, "the initial recruits integrate smoothly. However, the infinite energy Master Veldora supplied has revealed… greater possibilities. The Primordial Demons—White, Yellow, and Purple—have felt the beacon. With your permission, I shall return to the deepest layers and secure their eternal loyalty. They will become your most devoted shadows."

Ramiris, who had been spinning on a gacha machine like a pink top, froze mid-twirl and zipped over to land on Diablo's shoulder. "Master Veldora's infinite destruction-and-creation juice is calling the big shots?! The Great Ramiris approves! Master! Your disciple is ready to hype this! Let's go recruit some ancient demons who'll call you Master too!"

From the tenth-floor sanctum, Veldora's voice rolled across the shared mental link—deep, scholarly, and laced with that perfect otaku-dry humor. "Hah! The tiny queen has promoted me to 'Master' yet again. Probability of her turning the Primordial recruitment into a live gacha event: 96.8%. Proceed, Diablo. As the shut-in supplier of infinite pure energy, I shall observe from my Fortress of Solitude while conducting critical research on the latest volume of Slime Hero Chronicles. Takumi, ensure the feed has proper dramatic lighting."

Takumi's voice chimed in, warm and programmer-casual. "On it, Dragon Bro—Master Dragon Bro, sorry. Back when I was alive, seventy-two hours straight coding that isekai VRMMO, zero sleep, chugging energy drinks while the hero did his final power-up… I stood up yelling 'THAT'S THE GOOD STUFF!' and my heart decided it was game over. Karoshi with maximum otaku flavor. Now I'm a Manas handing out infinite energy like free DLC. Primordials incoming—let's make this party canon."

Rimuru's slime form wobbled with a mix of excitement and mild panic. "Diablo… Primordials? As in the original demons from the dawn of time? You sure the infinite supply can handle that?"

Diablo's crimson eyes gleamed with elegant confidence. "It is precisely because of Master Veldora's gift that they will answer. They crave purpose beyond endless boredom. I shall return with three who will call you lord with the same devotion I do."

Ramiris pumped her tiny fist. "Master Veldora! Watch your disciple Ramiris assist the fancy butler! We're gonna get the coolest demons ever!"

A shimmering gate opened, golden threads of Veldora's energy stabilizing it like reinforced server cables. Diablo stepped through, Ramiris clinging to his coattail despite his polite attempts to flick her off with a barrier. The Underworld's deepest layer—the Void Abyss—greeted them with endless black skies, floating crystal thrones, and three ancient presences that made the air itself feel heavy with primordial power.

Primordial White hovered on a throne of pale moonlight, her silver hair flowing like liquid starlight, expression one of refined boredom. "A butler and a noisy fairy? How quaint. The energy beacon tastes… different. Infinite. Speak before I grow irritated."

Ramiris zipped forward, wings buzzing. "Master Veldora sent us! His infinite destruction-and-creation energy is OP! The Great Ramiris declares this a limited-time recruitment event! Join Rimuru or miss out on the best gacha floor ever!"

Diablo bowed gracefully. "Lady White. Lord Rimuru offers not chains, but family. With Master Veldora's supply—" he raised the glowing orb, golden threads unfurling like elegant ribbons "—I gift you purpose."

Veldora's voice boomed through the link for all to hear. "Hah! The Primordial hesitates. Probability she joins in twenty seconds: 91%. Takumi, prepare the naming template. Something with aesthetic flair."

"Copy that. Anime sparkle filter engaged."

The energy sank into White. She tested it, shadows blooming into perfect, artistic destruction. A small smile curved her lips. "Family… how novel. Very well, butler. I accept."

Next came Primordial Yellow, lounging on a throne of crackling lightning, her golden hair wild and eyes full of manic battle joy. "Power? Finally something fun! But if it's boring, I'll blow you all up for laughs!"

Ramiris cheered. "Master Veldora! This one's feisty! Your energy is gonna make her the ultimate battle maniac! Do the gift thing, Diablo!"

Diablo remained unflappable. "Lady Yellow. Strength in service to Lord Rimuru will bring you endless worthy fights." The orb flared. Yellow's new skill—[Yellow Covenant – Cataclysmic Creation]—ignited, letting her wield infinite energy in explosive, creative bursts.

She cackled, punching the air and accidentally cracking a crystal throne. "Hah! This feels good! Count me in! I wanna see what this slime boss is made of!"

Veldora chuckled wisely. "Excellent. Probability of her challenging Shion to a cook-off brawl: 100%. Takumi, save the explosion footage for the highlight reel."

"Already clipping it. Title: 'When the DPS discovers infinite ammo.'"

Finally, Primordial Purple skipped forward on a throne of swirling chaos, her dark hair tied in playful pigtails, grin pure mischief. "Ooh, a party? With free power? I'm in if there's candy and explosions!"

Ramiris high-fived her mid-air. "Master Veldora! Purple's the fun one! Your disciple approves! Infinite energy means infinite pranks—er, I mean loyalty!"

Diablo offered the orb with a polite smile. "Lady Purple. True loyalty brings the sweetest chaos." Energy flowed, granting [Purple Covenant – Playful Annihilation]. Purple spun in delight, creating harmless sparkly explosions that somehow smelled like cotton candy.

"Wheee! Best. Day. Ever! I'm totally joining!"

From the sanctum, Veldora's tone warmed with big-brother pride. "Magnificent. The Primordials now serve our little brother. Probability of seamless integration: 98%. Ramiris, cease your screaming or I shall gift you a temporary 'volume control' debuff. …Kidding. Mostly."

Takumi laughed. "He's totally proud. I've already sketched their anime portraits—White gets the elegant villainess filter, Yellow the hot-blooded rival, Purple the chaotic gremlin. Welcome to the roster!"

The gate reopened. Diablo, Ramiris, and the three Primordials stepped back into Beta Floor 101 to a waiting crowd. Rimuru floated forward, feeling the brotherly link with Veldora pulse like a warm, endless river of support.

The Primordials knelt in unison, voices ringing with newfound loyalty.

"Primordial White… at your service, Lord Rimuru."

"Primordial Yellow, ready to smash for you!"

"Primordial Purple, here for the fun times!"

Rimuru's slime form glowed softly. The moment felt profound—these ancient beings, drawn by infinite energy and offered family instead of domination. He placed tiny hands on each in turn, naming them with the weight of true bonds.

"From now on, you are Testarossa," he said to White. She smiled, elegant and sharp.

"You are Carrera," to Yellow. She grinned, fists pumping.

"And you are Ultima," to Purple. She squealed and hugged his slime form (gently).

Ramiris zipped around them all. "Master Veldora! Look! We did it! Your infinite supply got us the coolest demons ever! The Great Ramiris demands a victory floor with triple gacha rates!"

Shion squealed, Oni-giri bobbing beside her. "New subordinates! Onigiri training starts tomorrow! Testarossa, your elegance will inspire perfect rice balls!"

Benimaru pinched his nose. "Three more walking disasters. My incident reports just got longer."

Milim tackled Ultima in a hug. "You're fun! Let's blow up a training room—artistically!"

Diablo stood at Rimuru's side, posture perfect, a faint proud smile on his lips. "They will serve you faithfully, my lord. Master Veldora's gift made it possible."

Veldora's final transmission carried scholarly warmth and shut-in satisfaction. "Well done, little brother. The supply line flows eternal. I return to my research—episode 48 awaits. But know this: the shut-in dragon rests easy knowing his family grows stronger. Takumi, popcorn. Extra butter."

"You got it, Master Dragon Bro. Credits rolling on another legendary chapter. New party members acquired—no wipes allowed."

The Dungeon hummed with golden energy, new bonds weaving tighter. Rimuru felt the unique dynamics deepen: Veldora the wise, funny otaku elder supplying endless possibility from his manga cave; Takumi the reincarnated programmer adding creative spark; Ramiris the chaotic fairy disciple hyping everything; Diablo the perfect shadow expanding the family; and now Testarossa, Carrera, and Ultima—primordial power turned loyal, laughing sisters in Tempest's ever-growing home.

Outside, the winds carried laughter, the scent of fresh onigiri, and the distant, excited buzzing of one fairy queen already planning the "Primordial Welcome Gacha Extravaganza."

Tempest had never been stronger—or more entertaining.
