Chapter 1 - The First of Mortals: Chapter 1

Myrion Mythos

The First of Mortals

In the year One hundred, of the Wolfor Kingdom calendar. The Kingdom developed from simple stones to fortresses visible from great distances, from the life of primitive men, Wolfor had grown from merely two hundred thousand to over two million people, in the span of only a century

The four mortals who awakened on this land, awoke with no memory, only that they had just woken up, before, they had no remembrance, yet in that moment, they seem to understand the functions of the body, something they did not know of, because they were the first on this land, they came from a source beyond what they could fathom

In each of their hand, they held a stone, and as they looked at it, it spoke to each one's mind and soul

"You may choose what you aspire of the four"

–The seeds of life

–The Warrior's might

–The Great knowledge

–The Siege of emperors

"Only one chooses you just as you choose it. Your mind and soul are the map, yet your heart is the path

The first man, Hēgemōn, followed his heart, uttering the words‐ siege of emperors

The woman among, Basilissa followed her heart, and uttered the words- Seeds of life

The second, sophós, followed his heart, uttering the words- The Great knowledge

The last man, Heroos, followed his heart, uttering the words- The Warrior's might

Their roles were picked and the stones turned to powder, and the wind carried them away

"We are now benevolent, wise, nurturing and mighty, yet we are brethren, we cannot live long without forces that will surbode to our words"

The Siege of emperors spoke greatly, his words carried to his brethren, and they agreed amongst themselves

The Lifely was to sprout the seeds of life, the wise was to give them their role, and the Siege was to make them obey

Their efforts, as well as the efforts of the mighty, who used his great strength to reveal soft land beneath the rock they stood on. The tree of life was born

Basilissa Whispered to the tree. "Birth" The tree obeyed, it grew fruit, and Basilissa picked them, ten of the biggest

Sophós imbued them in wisdom, "Rise as mighty as your predecessor"

Ten rose from the seeds, five men, five women

Hēgemōn spoke with sovereignty, "This tree shall birth your brothers and sisters to come, you are to nurture it"

Within 40 days, the tree had grew 20 000 fruits

These mortals born, were the first to begin the natural process

20 000 because 30 000

And the tree gave fruit, birthing 170 000 more

Within just a year.

Thousands, along with Sophós, and Heroos, Built the first fortress. The strength of thousands digging the rocks, the strength of Heroos towering the rocks, and the wisdom of Sophós binding them together

Within thirty years. The great Wolfor Kingdom stood. Children played, warriors and civilians roamed

The Great palace held the great four, and the first ten who served as the great advisors

Their number sat at a great 1 500 000. The tree of life had been put to rest, cut down, and constructed as a great sculpture of itself, with the body of a man. Reflecting the image it had sculpted of the men, women and children who walked the world

In the night of the 30th year

Within their chambers, the voice of the stones spoke once more

"You have created greatness out of nothing, your titles as Sages has been passed down to you, the Nation of Warriors"

"Within 70 years, you shall meet those of which are not of your kind, The great Aspires. Your wisdom must carry you to make the right decision, allies or enemies"

Hēgemōn, woke, and went to his advisors, "At sunrise. You are to train 50 000 soldiers, I will speak with Heroos to oversee"

He went to the chambers of Sophós, "Wise brother, The Kingdom will require your wisdom. Teach the warriors the arts of magic"

He went to the chambers of Basilissa, "Great sister, we require the birth of creatures, creatures for war"

By Dawn, 50 000 of the mightiest of men walked bare, punching and swinging rocks across the barren fields

Basilissa summoned her seeds, laying them on the ground, "Grow"

Wyverns, dragons, Wolfs and Serpents came about from the seeds, their roars filled the sky

Though they were told, "70 years" A formidable presence still appeared

In the afternoon of their first day of preparations, The color of the sky changed momentarily, from night to day, day to night in just moments, Voices of different tones screamed and whimpered in the skies, as two beings descended to Wolfor

"Are those the Aspires?" The beasts crawled to Basilissa, protecting their queen from the descent

"No. The Aspires will not arrive for 70 years, that is something else"

The two landed before the Kingdom, one man, one woman, each with red eyes, and silver hair that gleemed in the setting sun

"We came 70 years earlier than we were supposed to" the man spoke, before summoning his blade

"Your interests are quite a nuisance, Seria" the male, Lue spoke with agitation, his condescending tone weighed heavy, the soldiers could feel the strain all over, their bodies feeling ten times heavier

"To have us create avatars, just to visit a mortal plane"

"I never disagree when you choose to make living for the spirits a horrible experience"

"They are more durable than these fragile creatures made of matter"

"Yes, but spirits are less interesting"

"Seria, what do you find interesting about these mortals? We know every if, when, how, of them. Nothing of them is surprising"

"Is it not the same with spirits? I simply find the mortal way of thinking quite interesting"

The soldiers rushed out of the kingdom, by the gates, they found the two individuals

"Intruders! Identity yourselves!"

"Seria. We came here for entertainment, correct?"

"Yes"

"Wonderful" Lue flicked his finger, one of the soldiers collapsed to the ground, transforming into water

"Or rather....." the water rose from the ground, transforming into a book

He held the book in his hand, "The world turned pitch black. And the darkness consumed all men who are soldiers"

Instantly, the world was plunged into darkness, even the stars in the afternoon sky vanished into darkness

Screams and splattering filled the void, blades clattering on the ground

"Lue. These are just mortals, have empathy" Seria spoke, clearing the darkness, soldiers lay dead on the ground, bleeding heavily. "Non of you died" after those words, they all rose, their armors bloodied, yet no wounds on their bodies

"You're quite boring, dragging me into this measly book about barbarians, weak ones to make it worse"

"Be more magnanimous"

"Magnanimous? I would rather much enjoy rewriting the hero of a fantasy into a villain from our Records, yet you chose to come 'experience' a historical story"

"Lue. I believe it have never once objected to your requests'

Reluctantly. Lue did not complain longer, instead "70 years later"

Everything around changed, it was morning, the Kingdom had grown larger, the soldiers had long since left, and behind the two stood a group of one hundred individuals

"There. We're at the ending, enjoy yourself so we may leave. Don't interrupt them"

The four first mortals stepped out from the Iron gates, addressing the people in white uniform. "Travelers. Are you the great Aspires?"

"Yes. And we come to seek alliance with your kingdom"

"Where do you hail from?"

"We come from no home, we simply awoke seventy years ago, and the guardian informed us there is a kingdom awaiting our arrival in the east"

"A guardian you say. Did you possess any stones when you awoke?"

"Yes. I received a stone, as well as the truths of Kor"

Hēgemōn did not recognize the name, so we asked his brother Sophós, who also did not recognize it

"Great Aspire, elaborate"

"It is the power of the ten prophecies, which entail on the eventual end of the world, in the hands of the constellations"

Once again, Hēgemōn did not recognize the name, and neither did Sophós, they invited the group into the kingdom, so they may properly discuss the matter
