The Triskelion – S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters

At the three-winged arc-shaped building—the headquarters of S.H.I.E.L.D.—Director Nick Fury stood before the floor-to-ceiling window, gazing outside like a powerful executive.

He wore the same outfit all year round: a black sweater, a black leather jacket, and a black eyepatch covering one eye. With his dark skin and shadowy presence, he could practically disappear into darkness. It suited his identity as a spy, though his office air conditioning was always set uncomfortably cold.

A knock came at the door.

Fury walked to his desk, sat down, and adopted a stern expression."Come in."

As soon as Natasha Romanoff entered, she felt a chill on her face.

She was already used to it.

Mission Report

Fury asked, "How did the mission go? Is that alien girl still cooperating?"

Natasha replied, "The process was cooperative… but the results are quite strange."

She organized her thoughts before continuing:

"Yes, I obtained some very useful information—such as Rimuru's abilities and her attitude toward humans. Based on my analysis, Rimuru Tempest holds a fairly positive view of humanity—and even of S.H.I.E.L.D. She is basically harmless."

"Basically harmless… and even likes S.H.I.E.L.D.?" Fury raised an eyebrow.

An alien civilization capable of interstellar travel was no trivial matter. The fact that they didn't look down on humanity—and might even favor them—was unexpected.

"Tell me everything in detail."

The "Parallel Earth" Explanation

Natasha explained concisely, summarizing Rimuru's claims without inserting her own judgment.

When Fury heard that Rimuru came from a parallel Earth, he frowned.

The concept wasn't new—but what followed sounded absurd:

A "Wandering Earth" project lasting 2,500 years Humanity moving the entire planet across space Arriving in a star system with three suns

It sounded like pure science fiction.

Even more unbelievable was the claim that humans evolved:

Resistance to extreme temperature changes A "stomach space" capable of storing massive amounts of water

Fury fell silent.

On one hand, evolution adapting to environment was scientifically valid. Space travel could cause genetic mutation—NASA reports showed astronauts experiencing genetic changes after long missions.

But this?

This was far beyond reason.

And yet…

He thought of Carol Danvers.

A human who could tear apart spacecraft with her bare hands… who could fly through space unaided.

Human potential was extraordinary.

Could Rimuru be telling the truth?

Or was it all nonsense?

Natasha's Concern

Natasha watched Fury carefully, surprised.

She had expected criticism—after all, the mission report sounded ridiculous even to her.

Despite being S.H.I.E.L.D.'s top agent, her past as a former Red Room operative meant she had little margin for error.

One mistake—and she would always be seen as a traitor.

More "Information"

Fury asked, "You said Rimuru has a good impression of S.H.I.E.L.D. Why?"

Natasha explained:

"In her world, S.H.I.E.L.D. was once a secret organization like ours. But 2,500 years ago, aliens invaded New York. S.H.I.E.L.D. fought them, defeated both alien and human conspiracies, and became famous. Some agents even became legendary heroes, and their stories were turned into movies."

Fury blinked.

Aliens invading New York?Movies about S.H.I.E.L.D.?

What kind of absurd story was this?

And yet…

How else would Rimuru know about agents like Coulson or Natasha?

Was an alien invasion actually coming?

Could this be connected to the Skrulls he had secretly sheltered?

The "Asgard" Problem

Natasha hesitated, then added:

"She also mentioned that Earth is called Midgard, under the rule of Asgard. The ruler is Odin, with sons Thor and Loki… though Loki is adopted."

Fury immediately cut her off.

"Enough. Stop reporting these obviously fictional myths."

Natasha sighed in relief.

If Fury had believed that part, she might have questioned his sanity.

Fury's Conclusion

Fury reviewed the report again.

There was no doubt:

Rimuru possessed extraordinary abilities She had armor comparable to Iron Man Her combat strength was undeniable

Should she be considered for the Avengers Initiative?

Perhaps.

But:

Her age was too young Her motives were unclear Her story couldn't be verified

Fury wasn't someone who trusted easily.

"We'll observe her a bit longer."

A New Plan

Then Fury added:

"You played the role of Ivy Timothy well. Continue it. Your job is to ensure Rimuru attends school—let her be influenced by American values."

Natasha's eyes lit up.

She knew Rimuru hated school.

This was going to be interesting.

"Yes, sir."

Classification: 084

After Natasha left, Fury stood up and locked Rimuru's file inside a heavily secured safe.

Inside were other files marked with the same code:

084

A designation used by S.H.I.E.L.D. for objects—or phenomena—of unknown origin.

The first recorded 084 had been the Inhuman artifact, the Terrigen Obelisk.

And now…

Rimuru had become the first human ever classified as an 084.
