(The bright overhead lights of the hospital locker room glare down. The heavy iron door opens with a sharp click. Dr. Hyun steps inside very slowly. His shoulders are slumped after finishing a grueling and complex 5-hour cardiovascular surgery. He removes his surgical mask and takes a long, cold breath. He immediately walks over to his locker, pulls out his smartphone, and turns it on. He anxiously checks his messages and call logs, hoping for a response from Kim Seo. Looking at the blank screen, a look of complete disappointment washes over his face.)
DR. HYUN:(muttering to himself in frustration, very softly)"Nothing... not a single response from her. She didn't even reply to that letter. She must be furious with me about what happened last night."
(Suddenly, a female nurse Ga-on holding a clipboard enters the locker room. The moment Dr. Hyun looks up and sees her, he gasps in shock.)
DR. HYUN:(flustered, suddenly startled)"Ah! You?!"NURSE"Sir? What's wrong? Why do you look so shocked and startled to see me?
"DR. HYUN:(quickly turns off his phone screen and clears his throat, trying to compose himself)"Oh, nothing... nothing happened!"
DR. HYUN:(Thinking to himself)Why does this nurse always show up behind me? It feels like she's secretly stalking me! HUH!
DR. HYUN:"Anyway... what brings you here at this hour?
"NURSE Ga-on :(smiling, speaking in a very sweet and gentle voice)"Well, Sir... I came to update you about your patient. Kim Jun (Kim Seo's older brother), the one with the broken leg. He has come in for his routine check-up before his final discharge procedure. However, no guardian has arrived at the hospital yet to pick him up."
DR. HYUN:"I see. Alright, I will go check on Jun myself. You may return to your desk.

Dr. Hyun walks into the ward where Kim Seo's older brother, Jun, is sitting on the bed with a heavy plaster cast on his leg. Hyun approaches him and carefully examines his fracture while making conversation.)
DR. HYUN:"The bones are recovering well, Jun. But you still need to be a bit careful for now. Do not put too much weight or pressure on this leg."
JUNU:(smiling respectfully)"Thank you, Dr. Hyun. I'll take full care. By the way, you didn't call me 'Mr. Junu' today."
DR. HYUN:"Oh, I...
"JUNU:"It's okay, I was just teasing. I know you were a bit disturbed that day. Ma Rin told me about it."

The clicking sounds of keyboards are dying down as employees slowly pack up their belongings to head home. Kim Seo is clearing the blueprints from her desk when suddenly her phone rings. It's Junu. She picks up immediately.)
JUNU:(on the phone, angrily)"Kim Seo! Did you forget that I'm getting discharged today? When are you coming to pick me up? I've been waiting forever!"
(Kim Seo snaps her head up and looks at the digital clock in the corner of her computer monitor. She had completely lost track of time and panics.)
KIM SEO:(on the phone)"Ah, sorry Junu! I got completely buried in work and forgot. I'm on my way, just wait for me!"
JUNU:"Fine, hurry up!"(hangs up the phone)
KIM SEO:(Thinking to herself)Oh no! Junu is waiting for me! But if I go to the hospital right now, I will run straight into Dr. Hyun. After what happened last night, I cannot face him under any circumstances!(She quickly spins her chair around and looks at Ma Ha-rin, who is just wrapping up her work and closing her laptop. Kim Seo hatches a plan to send Ha-rin instead to avoid encountering Hyun.)
KIM SEO:"Ha-rin! Please save my life. Junu just called, he's ready for discharge
."MA HA-RIN:"Oh, I completely forgot about that! Come on, let's go pick him up. But wait, why do you need saving?"

Kim Seo lets out a massive sigh of relief that she didn't have to face Dr. Hyun. She packs her things too, notices the bouquet on her desk, decides to take it with her, and leaves the office to catch a public bus home.)

As he opens his desk drawer to file away some papers, his eyes fall upon a stunning, premium wristwatch inside—the very watch Ma Ha-rin had gifted him.)
SUN-WOO:(smiles warmly at the watch, a bright, beautiful grin spreading across his face)(He cracks a huge smile, picks up the watch, and puts it on his wrist with great care and pride.)
SUN-WOO:(smiling to himself)"This is the first thing Ma Ha-rin has ever given me... no matter what the situation was when she gave it, she's still the one who gave it to me! I'm going to wear this every single day."
(Completely happy, Sun-woo locks his cabin and heads toward the parking lot.)

(Ma Ha-rin walks into the large glass lobby of the hospital with brisk steps. Meanwhile, Dr. Hyun steps out of his cabin and stands near the reception counter, looking anxiously toward the entrance, hoping Kim Seo will walk through the doors. But the moment he sees only Ma Ha-rin walking in, deep disappointment and sadness wash over his face.)
DR. HYUN:(letting out a heavy sigh, his shoulders slumping)"Oh... Ha-rin. It's you."
MA HA-RIN:(noticing his deep disappointment the second she walks up to him, her inner detective immediately goes on high alert)"Hello, Doctor! Yes, Kim got heavily stuck with a massive deadline project at the office, so she sent me to pick up Junu instead. By the way... why did your face fall so hard when you saw me, Brother-in-law?"
DR. HYUN:(terribly embarrassed, clearing his throat to hide his feelings)"What? No, no! It's nothing like that. I'm not disappointed... it's just been a long surgery today, so I'm exhausted."
MA HA-RIN:"Anyway, your apology letter and bouquet were beautiful. I read the letter. You've really taken things to the next level, Doctor!"
DR. HYUN:"Oh, I was drunk, so..."
MA HA-RIN:"It's okay, I understand. But hey, it actually worked out in your favor
!"DR. HYUN:"What favor?"
MA HA-RIN:"When you were with Kim at the party, the office colleagues saw you two. Now everyone thinks you're her secret boyfriend!

DR. HYUN;"It's great that Junu is heading home. But remember—his plaster splint isn't off yet. To keep the deep wound clean, his dressing needs to be changed once a week. So make sure to bring him back here next week."
MA HA-RIN:"Understood, Doctor. Don't worry at all, I'll take full care of it. Let's go, Junu!"(Dr. Hyun bids them goodbye with a faint smile and heads back toward his cabin.)
JUNU:"Thank God, finally out of the hospital! By the way, why didn't Kim come?"
MA HA-RIN:"Oh, she had a meeting.
JUNU:(Leaning on his crutches, moving slowly toward the car)"Alright, let's get a move on. I am absolutely starving! That awful hospital food completely ruined my taste buds."
MA HA-RIN:(Helping him balance, opening the front passenger door with a warm smile)"Haha, alright, alright, let's go. Get in."(Ma Ha-rin carefully helps Junu slide into the front seat, placing his plastered leg comfortably before shutting the door. AND KEEPING WHEEL CHAIR INSIDE ,She hops into the driver's seat and pulls out of the hospital parking lot.)
[Scene: INT. Public Bus – Moving – Night Continuous]
(Meanwhile, Kim Seo is sitting by the window of a dimly lit public bus. The cold night breeze blows softly through a slight crack in the window, brushing against her face. Hugging the bouquet of flowers tightly against her chest, her eyes slowly grow heavy.
