Chapter 83 - Chapter 82 Itadori Jin

Chapter 82 Itadori Jin

"Toho Hiroshi's defection has attracted the vast majority of attention from Gojo Satoru and the entire Jujutsu World. This provides unprecedented cover for our next actions. Moreover..."

Kenjaku's smile deepened, carrying a viper-like cunning: "Isn't a powerhouse who possesses such strength and has completely broken away from the mainstream Jujutsu World the perfect subject we have been looking for—someone we can 'use' or at least 'observe'? His broken relationship with Gojo Satoru means he has lost his most powerful check and ally. Now, he is a lone wolf."

Uraume understood what Kenjaku meant: "You want to contact him? Or guide him?"

"No need to make active contact for now."

Kenjaku shook his head, gaze deep: "We need to observe more cautiously. Observe his next move, observe his true purpose, and observe where the limits of those eyes of his truly lie. Approaching a beast that has just tasted blood is foolish."

She stood up, walked to the window, and looked at the courtyard scenery, whether illusory or real.

"The urgent priority is to accelerate our own plans. Especially the preparations for the 'Sukuna vessel'; it must be foolproof. The chaos created by Toho Hiroshi is perfect for masking our subtle movements in Sendai and elsewhere."

She turned back to look at Uraume, her expression returning to absolute calmness and control.

"Uraume, continue to have people monitor Toho Hiroshi's movements, but don't get too close."

"At the same time, ensure all our'seeds' are on standby. The tide of the era is coming faster than expected, so we must adjust our pace and go with the flow."

Uraume nodded slightly: "Understood. I will keep a close watch. As for Sendai, do we need to strengthen precautions?"

"Not for now."

Kenjaku mused: "Overreacting is more likely to expose us. As for Itadori Yuji, just 'observe' according to the original plan. Toho Hiroshi appearing in Sendai might just be a coincidence, but keep an eye on whether he has any intersection with that child."

"Any tiny variable could affect the perfection of Sukuna's resurrection."

"Understood."

Uraume replied, his figure slowly retreating into the shadows.

The tea room returned to silence.

Kenjaku stood alone by the window, and in those deep eyes within that gentle face, the wisdom and coldness accumulated over a millennium flickered.

"Toho Hiroshi, will you be a disaster outside of the plan, or the sharpest blade I can use? How truly exciting."

She muttered to herself, the corners of her mouth curling into a meaningful arc.

The sliding door of the tea room was gently opened again, and a figure poked his head in.

The visitor was none other than Itadori Jin, the nominal husband of Itadori Kaori (Kenjaku), and the father of Itadori Yuji.

He looked like a man with a somewhat honest, even slightly naive temperament, wearing the gentle smile often seen on a family man, which was completely out of place with the secretive and eerie atmosphere of this tea room.

"Kaori, I'm home. I bought the taiyaki you like; it's still hot."

Itadori Jin raised the paper bag in his hand, his tone gentle, his eyes naturally falling on the "wife" whom Kenjaku was parasitizing, that gaze containing the concern of an ordinary husband for his wife.

However, both Kenjaku and the recently hidden Uraume knew what kind of shocking secret lay hidden beneath this "ordinariness."

Kenjaku—currently "Itadori Kaori"—instantly switched back to that gentle and compliant demeanor, her face blooming with just the right amount of surprise and sweetness: "Ah, thank you, Jin. I was just getting a little hungry."

She took the paper bag, her fingertips touching Itadori Jin's naturally.

Itadori Jin walked into the tea room and knelt opposite Kenjaku, his gaze sweeping over the scroll on the table that hadn't been fully put away yet, and asked seemingly casually: "Did a guest come by? Or are you dealing with some troublesome business? You look a bit tired."

His concern sounded incredibly sincere.

Kenjaku smiled slightly, using a relaxed tone to brush it off: "It's nothing, just some trivial matters; they've already been handled. It's you, you're home earlier than usual today."

"Yeah, we finished early at the hospital."

Itadori Jin scratched his head and smiled honestly.

His appearance, his profession, everything about him, perfectly blended into the role of an ordinary working-class husband.

But Kenjaku knew full well that this man before her was by no means as simple as he appeared on the surface.

Itadori Jin, the bloodline flowing in his body, and the fragments of memory from the distant past that awakened at specific moments, were one of the real reasons why Kenjaku chose this body named "Itadori Kaori" to parasitize and combine with to give birth to Itadori Yuji.

In Kenjaku's millennium-spanning layout, she had long since grasped many secrets about the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna, including a truth deeply buried by the dust of history: Sukuna had devoured his twin brother while still in the womb, thereby obtaining unparalleled total Cursed Energy and two Cursed Techniques.

And Itadori Jin was the reincarnation of that twin brother of Sukuna's who had been devoured in the womb and should have completely perished.

Whether it was a coincidence of fate or a remnant of a Curse, before and after combining with "Itadori Kaori," Itadori Jin began to intermittently awaken fragments of his past life's memories—that extreme resentment and unwillingness of being devoured by a close relative and never being complete for eternity.

This resentment did not point directly at Sukuna, but was twistedly projected onto everything related to Sukuna.

Itadori Jin knew full well that he could never truly take revenge with his own strength, but he found a unique and cruel method.

He sensed the extraordinariness of his "wife" Kaori (Kenjaku), and her coveting of Sukuna's power.

He did not expose her, but instead went with the flow.

His union with Kenjaku, in Kenjaku's view, was to cultivate the perfect Sukuna vessel, but in the deep consciousness of the awakened Itadori Jin, this was a carefully planned revenge.

"You want a vessel, don't you? Fine, I will give you the 'most perfect' vessel."

Itadori Jin's subconscious sneered, "But this vessel will flow with my bloodline, inheriting my bone-deep hatred for Sukuna."

"I want Sukuna's soul to be parasitic within my son's body, washed and bound by my bloodline day and night."

"This body is both his prison and my eternal mockery of him. I want to ensure that even if he is resurrected, he will never truly obtain freedom, forever entangled by the shadow of his 'brother'."

This was a Curse born from the deepest part of the bloodline, one that was almost mutually destructive.

The birth of Itadori Yuji was not only a product of Kenjaku's millennium plan but also a revenge delayed by a thousand years by his biological father against the King of Curses.

Therefore, Itadori Jin's feelings for his son Yuji were extremely complex.

He loved this son; he was his flesh and blood; but

at the same time, he also regarded his son as a tool for revenge, a living shackle used to bind Sukuna.
