Loki sat silently inside the cell with his legs crossed and his eyes shut, his back resting against the cold stone wall as though he had chosen the place for meditation rather than imprisonment.
Unlike ordinary prisoners, he was not chained. The Ashmork clan had quickly realized that there was little point in trying. Simple chains would never hold someone like Loki, and their village was not advanced enough to forge restraints capable of containing a warrior of his strength. Once his body recovered from the exhaustion caused by the battle and his repeated use of Mana Burst, he could easily break free if he truly wanted to.
It would not be wrong to say that Loki was only sitting inside the cell because he allowed it.
"You bloody fool... Because of your stupidity, ten men who served your father for decades died all for nothing!" Molu snarled from the other side of the bars, his face twisted with anger as he glared at the silent goblin.
