Chapter 1 - “Under the Same Sky”

In a small town near the river in Bengal, there lived a girl named Riya. She was quiet, kind, and loved reading books while sitting by her window. Every evening, she would watch the sunset paint the sky in shades of orange and pink.

Across the street lived a boy named Arjun. He was a college student who loved music and often played his guitar on the terrace. Riya could hear his melodies drifting through the evening air, soft and calming.

At first, they never spoke. Just silent glances, small smiles, and shared moments under the same sky.

One rainy afternoon, Riya was returning from the market when heavy rain started pouring. She stood under a shop roof, waiting for it to stop. Suddenly, Arjun came running and offered her his umbrella.

That was their first real conversation.

"Do you always forget your umbrella?" Arjun asked, smiling.

Riya laughed softly. "Maybe I was waiting for you to share yours."

From that day, they slowly became friends. They talked about books, music, dreams, and life. Arjun would play songs on his guitar just for Riya, and she would bring him homemade sweets from her mother.

Days turned into months, and friendship quietly turned into love—without either of them realizing when it happened.

One evening, under the same sunset they both used to watch alone, Arjun finally said, "Riya, I think my music sounds complete only when you are listening."

Riya looked at him and smiled. "Then never stop playing."

And in that simple moment, without big promises or loud words, two hearts became one.

They didn't need a perfect story. They just needed each other—under the same sky, where it all began.
