In that book, his reckless choices and stubborn attitude had caused nothing but pain and destruction for everyone around him.
Not to mention his inability to make up his mind in a relationship.
Yet, here he was, looking at me like I was the bad guy.
I let out a sigh, deciding to ignore the fool. He wasn't worth my time anyway, and I had much more important things to worry about than a grumpy mans bad attitude.
I adjusted my clothes and started walking down the narrow, dimly lit hallway.
"And what do you think you're doing," he said when he saw me walking towards him, or to be specific, the door behind him.
He stepped out away from the wall, placing his body right in the middle of the corridor to block my path.
"I merely wish to talk with your master," I said, stopping a few feet away from him.
I let out another sigh, trying my best to keep my voice calm and polite. "Please be a lad and tell her to come out and meet me."
