I looked at the people who also arrived the same time as us.
"Oh isn't it Lady Devineris?"
Someone unfamiliar called me and I saw Camilla with them who was talking to someone. I saw her stop and look at me or should I say look at my brother who was frowning when I stopped from walking inside.
I didn't pay attention to that person as she's not worth of my time.
"Why is she here?"
I heard one of Camilla's friend asked as she was glaring at me.
"Why wouldn't I be here?"
I said as I turn my back and answer her.
This people were as parasites as my co-workers to bully someone who they think was much weaker than them, well guess what?
I don't have that brother who will hit me if I did something wrong again, that is why I didn't even bothered to defend myself at work as I am afraid of getting kicked out from the company and my brother will definitely hit me for losing my job.
"You are here, so why won't I be here?"
I asked calmly, but my face doesn't show any emotions.
"H-how dare you question why I am here?"
The girl asked as she looks humiliated as her cheeks were red as she was looking at her other friends.

I asked as I looked at her from head to toe before raising my right brow at her.

She said as she looks really pissed at the moment.

I looked at Declan who was glaring at the girl who looks on the ground when she saw Declan was looking at her.
"It is you first day and yet you are making scene already."
He said as he sighed while he was giving me those cold stares again.
I glared at him, he was accusing me when it's clearly not me who started to make a scene.
"You heard and saw everything and you still blamed me?". I asked as I raised one brow's at him. How dare this so-called brother of mine call me out when all I did was to defend myself?
"I just don't want you to bother the other students here, besides you are new here."
He said as he looked at me before walking inside.
"See? Even her brother didn't want to defend here."
The girl said as she was smirking at me.
"Who said I needed my brother to defend me? What? Do you think I am like you who needs someone to save me?"
I asked as I crossed my finger acrossed my chest.
Who do they think they are? They think they can just bully me here?
"I apologized for my friends behaviour , Lady Navia."
I looke at Camilla who was bowing her head at me.
"What are you bowing to her Camilla? She was nothing, but a castout."
She said as she looked me with disgust on her eyes, like the nerve she has to give me that look.
"Didn't your etiquette teacher taught you to respect those who are in higher ranks?"
I said as I gave her a cold stare. I saw her surprised at what I said, like she couldn't believe that I still have the guts to answer her after my so-called brother reprimand me for talking back at her a while ago.
"Stop it Dixie."
I heard Camilla said as she was trying to pull her friend from coming on my way.
"She's younger than us, she might not know how to act well, and besides I heard her governess had been replaced that's why she might lack some proper manner."
Camilla said and I almost laugh at her, who does she fooling?
Oh, I forgot even if many people don't like here, there are still many people who likes her, especially when she was a people pleaser.
I might be a loser in my last life in my own world before coming here, but I wasn't a people please, it is just I was always subdue by people who are stronger than me.
And I avoided doing things that might anger my abuser, but I am not pleasing them.

She asked as she even crosses her arms on her chest as she raises one of her brows against her.

Dixie said as she was pointing at her.
"And what are you even doing her outside? What can't afford someone to carry your things?"
She said as she looked at Dixie insultingly before she walks away.
"That arrogant woman!"
Dixie yelled as Camilla was still trying to calm her.

I looked at Bisnna who seems to be lost as she went inside with special recommendation from my father.
"Why are you still here?"
She asks as she was even gasping from breathe from running.
"Some pests blocked my way."
I said as I gave their group one last glance before I entred inside the academy.
My eyes roamed around and it is more beautiful than what I painted in my mind from reading the novel.
"It is my first time here too, My lady."
Bisnna said as her eyes was sparking in awe as she was looking at the ceiling.
I never asked why as she already told me, that her family can't afford going to a prestigious academy, besides only who have some magic can enter in this academy.
That is why I feel pity for her.
She was just like me when I was still in my world, deprieved on having some rights to study, and even the scholarship and sponsorship I received was always taken by those rich girls that has some connections.
That is one of the cruelest truth in the world, if you are poor and no connections even if you are smart there are still some people who will snatch your opportunity from you. They just have everything you work for in the easiest way as they have the so-called money and connections.
"Why didn't you study at regular academy here?"
I asked as we walked to where I will stay in this academy.
"I have no time for that anymore, My lady."
She said as she smiled at me.
"But your mother, used to get some tutor for us to taught us at your home before."
She said which made me stopped from walking for a second.
"Did she?"
I asked as it never mentioned in the story, and besides the original Navia doesn't have any memory from her mother.
"Yes, she said it was for us, to teach us how to read and write to avoid us from getting fooled ."
She said as we stooped in front of a big room.
Bisnna opened it with the key that she has on her hand.
As we entered my forehead frowned.

Isn't it supposed to be like a dorm for students here?
Then why is there only one bed?
And the room is designed accordingly to what Navia like.
"The duke was afraid of your temparment so, he made you have this room all alone."
Bisnna said as she looks at me while my laguage are being delivered by some creatures which is unfamiliar to me.
"What do you mean?"
I asked as I looked at her, does the duke still thought I would hurt anyone?
"He was just being protected to you, My lady. Aside, from you, your brother and the royal heirs had their own room from here."
She said as she looked at me while smiling and arranging my things.
"Aren't you going to stay here?"
I asked as I looked at her.
"I just received some letter a while ago from someone in this school, that I was allowed to stay here with as you are still young and hasn't been out for long."
She said as she looks me, I sighed at least I have my own person here.
I know my life here won't be good , just like what happened a while ago.
Bisnna and I slept early that day after we ate our dinner that was delivered in my room since tomorrow is the school first day and by that time we all need to eat at the dinning hall.
I woke up early that morning and bisnna helped me to get dressed and did my hair.
After that I went out by myself to go to the hall where the headmaster of this school will do a welcome speech.
As I arrived at school everyone was looking at me like I was some kind of something who wasn't belong there.
"What is she doing here?"
I heard some whispers from the people as they were eyeing me.
"I heard she also got a special room."
A woman said as she leaned on her friend, she seems older than and my brother.
"What do you expect? She's the only daughter of the duke, a pampered princess."
I heard Dixie said as she was there again glaring at me like I did something to her when she was the one who insulted me yesterday.
"I bet, she doesn't even know how use her power."
Their group laughed as one of their friend said it.
"I heard she was a cursed. She killed the duchess the moment she was born."
I clenched my fist at what I heard trying to calm myself not cause a scene here in the hall.
"Camilla, I heard she fancy the prince, you should tell him to protect you from that weird kid."
Dixie said as she even smirked at me.
I pretend I didn't hear them, but I really wanted to smack her on her face.
After all, she has been getting on my nerve since yesterday, and this morning.
We met each other in the hallway and the day was not even half and she was smearing my name already.
Since they branded me as a pampered princess who has bad temparament then maybe I should let them taste it.
